About: Whether your dog wants to play, cuddle, or sleep all day, I’m ready for it all! I grew up with a TON of pets—ranging from dogs, cats, turtles, lovebirds, guinea pigs, hamsters, fish, rabbits, and so forth (all rescued)! I have a special admiration for all four-legged furry friends and understand the responsibility that comes with caring for them. Beyond expert belly rubbing skills, I also nourish pets with adequate food and water in a timely manner as scheduled. I am respectful of peoples property, and ensure spaces stay clean by maintaining pet hygiene and cleaning up after them. I understand it can be scary to trust someone new with your pet, but I promise to treat them like my own: with love, patience, and care. Book me, as a college student, it’s ruff out here! 🐶 I am a college student majoring in Molecular Biology and Biochemistry with a minor in Psychology. I am home for the summer with a super flexible schedule! I’m fully available and excited to dedicate my time to any pet care needs. #Funemployed 😁 I care for pets in their homes by maintaining a clean, safe, and familiar environment. I make sure everything is left just as I found it and treat the space with the same care I’d want for my own home. Your pet’s comfort and your peace of mind are my top priorities.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my childhood, however I don’t currently have one. But I do dog sit for my friends when they are out of town. But my purpose of this app is to focus on dog walking because it seems like a good way to use my free time. I got to school 2-3 times a week but walking a dog probably won’t take more than 2 hours so I definitely have the time of day to dog walk. i just want to focus on dog walking for now. Maybe in the future, i can do pet sitting. In the end, ill make sure to listen to the owner's pet care instructions.

“Chance has loved and cared for animals since she was five years old which led her to pursue her education in veterinary medicine at Cal Poly Pomona currently. She has a calm and loving demeanor with animals (and humans). Growing up, she cared for many dogs and puppies (she had three dogs and cared for them and their puppies), a panther chameleon, ducks, snakes, guinea pigs and bearded dragons! She is also a cat aunt and has cat sat for her brother when he is out of town. What else can I say? We’ll, she is just amazing with animals and truly cares for them!”
Over 44 pet parents in Walnut have booked house sitting
Walnut pet parents share their Rover experiences
Joanna is an absolute gem of a cat sitter. She watched my cat Spooky overnight several days while I was away for the weekend, and I couldn’t have felt more at ease. She’s a true animal lover—patient, warm, and totally unfazed by Spooky’s sometimes feisty (and bitey!) personality. Not only did she take the time to play with him and earn his trust, but she even got him to cuddle—no small feat! Joanna was great about sending updates, photos, and videos, which made being away so much easier. She also helped administer his new medication, which involves using a cat inhaler and requires holding him still, which she handled with ease. I came home to a spotless apartment, as if no one had been there. I would absolutely book her again in a heartbeat.

Raquel did a great job with our dogs! She communicated with us the whole time we were gone, spoiled our big dogs and when we got home the house was well taken care of and the dogs were happy. We’ll definitely have her back next time we go on vacation!

We used Isabel this week for the first time - one drop in and one house sitting. Isabel provided great care for our 60 lb german shepherd mix. She sent us photos & video and was thorough and professional. We are already planning to use her again 2 more times this month. We are so glad we found her!

Esther was amazing with my fur baby. I had never used Rover before and was incredibly nervous, but Esther made me feel at ease. She even took the time to come meet my dog, Daisy, beforehand. She was extremely communicative, provided updates + photos, and handled my dog’s medication & special meal routine extremely well. My dog can be anxious without me, but I could tell from the photos that she warmed up to Esther quickly and didn’t look stressed at all while I was away because she was being taken care of so well. I will absolutely book with Esther again when I need a dogsitter.
