2. Faith D.
“Faith was awesome! We’ve worked with a lot of Rover sitters, and she really stands out. Our cat Rosie seemed happy, she was communicative and the house was super tidy when we returned. She also went above and beyond, and drove back to check the house after leaving to make sure it was closed up before a storm that was coming in that day. Would absolutely recommend working with her.”
3. Juliana J.
“Juliana and her fiancé helped me out so last minute while I was on vacation. My sister in law was due to go in labor in a few weeks but she went into labor while she was watching my doggies and Juliana was so fast to respond and go to my house and take care of my pups. If it wasn’t for her I would of been so stressed out. I will definitely book with her again plus she takes good care of the house.”

11. Anna I.
About: I have been taking care of other people's animals for almost 7 years! I grew up with cats, and got my own puppy about 1.5 years ago. I have loads of experience with taking care of animals, and know the time and effort it takes to keep you dog or cat safe and well-cared for! while i do work full time in Honoka’a, most of my days are free since i typically work the night shift! this means that i have ample time to take care of your animals and give them the attention they deserve while you’re away. Whether in your home or mine, i want your pet to be in the most comfortable setting while you are away. If staying in my home, there is a 8 month old Poodle also in the house.
12. Shanon S.
About: Aloha! I'm Shanon, a naturopathic physician who loves to take care of pets in people's homes. I began caring for my neighbor's cat when I was 10 years old, graduating to dog care in my teens. Since then I have done pet sits in many states and countries, seeing some pets through their lifetimes. My clients have included dogs, cats, bunnies, tortoises, snails, fish and birds. I have also cared for chickens and horses and am willing to look after small farm animals such as goats and sheep. If requested, I take care of gardens/plants, mail/packages and any other issues that may arise while you are gone. Want local or distance references? There are many. Please ask for them! I look forward to hearing from you. Aloha, Shanon Much of my work is online so that I can spend the maximum amount of time with your furry, feathered and scaled friends - I aim to be at home 75% of the time. I treat all pets as my own so they get the attention, love and care they deserve. My services can also include administering medication (pills, subcutaneous injections for cats, insulin shots etc). I strive for your home to be in the same, if not better condition than when you left, and for your pets to be as well-tended to when you are away as when you are home.

He is responsible and diligent while making sure that your pet feels loved - he treats each pet like it's his own. Noah walks my two dogs regularly, lets me know if there are any concerns and takes care to make sure they have fun but are protected. I highly recommend Noah as a pet sitter and dog walker.”

17. Katrina C.
About: I’ve taken care of animals my whole life from birds, fish, to dogs. Majority was my own animals, but I’ve also had a couple years of experience with pet sitting and care. Pet care is a part time gig at the moment, meaning my schedule is extremely flexible! If it’s set up ahead of time, we can find a time. I only provide pet care by taking the dogs to the park, and solely taking care of the pet at the owners home. My dog does not get along with cats, and dogs are iffy sometimes. For the safety of all animals this is the boundary.
18. Dirk H.
About: I had my first dog starting in 4th grade with Duke. After I graduated from the University of Hawaii at Hilo, I adopted Dexter from the Hawaii Humane Society. He was so great, I went back to the Humane Society and picked up Trinity a few years later. A year after that, my wife surprised me with 2 older, small breed dogs, Paco and Lexi. The pack was so great we decided to get a puppy, Haylee Rose. It was a lot of work to take care of 5 dogs but so worth it. Sadly Dexter and Paco have crossed the rainbow bridge, but had great lives. I have experience with puppies to seniors and dogs weighing 5 to 50 pounds. I just recently moved to the area from Hilo and currently have no commitments. I have my 3 dogs to take care of, but besides that I am free to care for others. Having worked in early childhood education, I understand the importance of routine and schedules. Both are very important when taking care of animals. Most dogs thrive when they know what to expect. Safey is always my number one priority.
19. Nina B.
“Excellent pet sitter, loving and caring. Nina is thoughtful and kind; a pleasure to work with. My dog loves Nina. Nina has sat for a few other dogs I know of and that the owners always request Nina for her loving care.”
20. Heather & Don H.
“Heather is the best petsitter. She naturally adores pets and is very attentive, loves taking our dog for a walk and snuggling with our cat. She follows directions and goes above and beyond to make sure your pet is safe and sound so you don't have to worry!”
