About: A retired marine biologist. I have had dogs my entire life. Raised puppies and watched them grow old. I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and energy levels. Retired. I’m available most days if you need your pets to be simply fed, let out to pee, or to be entertained. While I take same day requests, there are no guarantees because I have several regularly scheduled walks and drop ins. Please reply promptly, I archive when no response in 24 hours. I have a fenced yard and a young corgi who has full run of the house. He can be shy to other dogs. If your dog has any aggressive tendencies or Keahi does not get along with them for whatever reason, we cannot board your dog. Meet and greets are mandatory before any boarding or daycare. Dogs must be house trained for boarding or daycare (paper trained is not house trained). I cannot and will not leave food out. If your dog has issues eating when they are fed (I feed them when I feed my dog), I have to take your dog’s food away and store it. This is a house, not a kennel where your dog has an assigned lot. If your dog has these feeding issues, consider another sitter. I have no kids on property.

“After my last river sister moved away, I was a apprehensive about someone else watching Thumper. Hailey and Benjamin made everything easy from the first meet and great, slowly introducing their dogs one at a time and then letting them all roam around their yard, to the first drop off. Thumper was a bit nervous when he was dropped off, but slowly calmed down and enjoyed himself there. Everything made me calm down as well. I got a check-in update and lots of pictures. I am excited for his next visit and glad I found someone that both Thumper and I are both comfortable with!!!!”

Lauren is attentive to detail, understanding of different dogs, their needs/boundaries, super patient, and a dog whisperer! She is able to execute little details that help make our pup comfy and warm at their home. Lauren has also dealt with our pup starting her first cycle while we were away! She was soooooo patient to help our pup be safe and clean during her stay and managed to make it work even though our pup did not like diapers! Lauren sent so many updates throughout the stay that made us feel so happy that our pup was enjoying and having the time of her life! We can’t forget to mention their wonderful family of boys that also play with our pup and teach her new tricks. They are so loving and respectful of the dogs! About: Our oldest dog is 5 years old, being an intelligent, high energy breed she’s taught me everything I know! I wanted to start dog sitting specifically for military families, so you can be confident your pets are in good hands for an affordable price when you need to leave the island or are working long hours! MUST have access onto Hickam military base I’m a stay at home mom so I’m always home! I have plenty of time and space to give your pets the attention they need I keep my dogs on a strict feeding/potty schedule and pay attention to their cues, I can provide the same level of care and attention to detail for your pets! I have a fenced in yard and the AC is always on!

About: I love dogs and currently have two very friendly labs of my own! We love to do Rover so they can have friends to play with in our large fenced in yard! We’re also available to pick up and drop off your dog if needed. I work from home so that my pups (and yours!) will rarely be left alone. We have a big fenced in yard for them to play and get plenty of exercise! I have a fully fenced in yard and two very friendly female labrador retriever pups! Pups can play inside, in the yard or on walks :)

About: We’re dog lovers! Our home loves doggie energy. We can comfortably administer meds, injections and will walk daily. I work from home and my husband and I have flexible schedules. We can typically accommodate up to two consecutive weeks of care with consistent exercise and constant love. We are an active couple: beach time, hiking and daily walks are the norm for us. We believe that dogs are part of the family, whether they are our own or the fur babies of others. We have a 17 pound male terrier mix who is very playful. Being that I work from home, I'm here most of the day with an occasional appointment or meeting for a few hours. When Robert is off he's also home most of the day however he may go out for a bike ride or surf session. We also may meet up with friends for a meal out. Cooper (our fur baby) will be home to keep yours company but if you're looking for 24/7 type of care or if your fur baby has separation anxiety we are not the best fit since we may be out of the house at times. Your fur baby must also go potty outside unless we're caring for your pup who has physical or health issues that would hinder outdoor potty time. Our typical day starts with exercise then breakfast out on the lanai where you're fur baby will be able to join us. Per your permission/request and for an additional fee of $15/day, we will take your pup for a walk in the neighborhood. Walking your dog is almost a requirement because in our experience, they do MUCH better when they can get out with one of us humans and Cooper. We can discuss this on our meet and greet. We are open to taking your dog to the beach or on a hike if they do well in that environment. Your dog must be good on leash and obey basic commands if requesting walks or anything that would require a leash/lead. If you would like to add dog walking please let us know so that we can adjust the fee because it's not included in the boarding fee. Thanks! We have a fenced-in backyard with a doggie door so your dog can take their potty break whenever needed. My office has an open door policy so they will always have company when they want it. There is plenty of shade and grassy area for them to play and hang out. Our walks are typically around the neighborhood where there are very few cars passing by, if any. There is a park walking distance from our house and we may walk the park at times. Most often either I or Robert will be home and Cooper will be home to keep your fur-baby company if the humans need to leave for a short time.

About: I’ve taken care of all kinds of dogs. And I want to be able to help other people who are looking for help with dog sitting I work part- time. And with the extra time on my hands I want to be able to work with more cats and dogs. I do have experience working with a variety of animals, which I am super blessed to be able to do so. Unfortunately, I do not have Military or Base access. I care for pets as if they are my kids and I’m willing to do anything for them to have a good time. For a client’s house I will always respect it and keep things how they are when I got there

About: I have a dog of my own that I care for and pet sit for friends regularly! The pets I have cared for have become my pet friends and I go visit them even when I’m not sitting. Giving medication for pets is part of the daily routine with my pets so that will not be a problem if your fur baby needs to take medication. Daily walks and a lot of TLC is what I can provide for your pet along with any other needs that they may have. You can trust me to take care of your pet as well as I take care of my own because I understand how precious they are in our lives and it isn’t easy when you aren’t around them!! I am available most days all day to provide full care for your pet. Whatever their needs are I am able to be there for them and am sure to update my availability calendar to keep it up to date. I have a fenced in back yard with a friendly mini-schnauzer that pets can play in but they are also allowed in the house with easy access through a doggy door. I am home all day so if they can’t use the doggy door I can let them in and out of the house. If I’m your home I will do whatever they are used to.

Here's how: we have to match their loyalty! Not as easy as it sounds because... well... we're ONLY human. We have jobs, we have relationships, we have good days, we have bad days. Dogs... well, dogs, they have US. And only US. They eat, sleep, and breathe all while thinking about US. So, no, you can't match their loyalty, their love... but that's where I step in.
