About: Cats have been part of my life for as long as I can remember, and I truly can’t imagine my life without them! I currently have two beloved kitties of my own, including my 17-year-old senior kitty. Over the years, I’ve cared for cats of all ages, from kittens to seniors, and I’m comfortable administering medications, cleaning litter boxes, handling hairballs and accidents, and providing the extra patience some cats need. I also have past experience fostering cats and helping capture kitties, which has given me experience working with cats who may be shy, anxious, scared, or unsure of new people. I understand that every cat has their own personality and boundaries. Some want to be your best friend immediately, while others need time and space before they decide you’re worthy of their attention! I’m happy to meet them where they are. Now that I’m retired, I have the opportunity to spend my time doing something I genuinely love: caring for animals. My cats are family to me, and when someone trusts me with their kitty, I want them to feel confident that their cat will be treated with the same love, patience, and care I give my own. Now that I’m retired, I have a flexible schedule and plenty of time to give your kitty the attention and care they deserve! I’m available throughout the week for drop-in visits, house sitting, feeding, medication, playtime, cuddles, and companionship. About: Hello! I am an animal lover and have been a volunteer with the Humane Society for over 10 years, fostering animals, walking dogs, helping in the vet office, among other activities. I also have walked and “nannied” dogs for 20 years. One of my past jobs include working at a pet store focused on finding the healthiest and most natural food, medicines, and toys for all pets. Here, I learned a great deal about dog health and behavior. I have been a part of 4-H and have taken classes in veterinary medicine as a pre-Vet student.
