“Corinne was absolutely amazing & made us feel at ease while away. Her updates were thorough and you could tell she loves what she does. We were fortunate to have her help us take care of our big girl & would not hesitate to use her again. Highly recommend!! Thank you so much!!”

“Madalyn is awesome! She absolutely adores my two cats and even got my shy one to warm up to her quickly. You can tell she really cares about pets. I will definitely rebook in the future.”

“Last night, Lehua (Ingrid) came over for a night drop-in for the 1st time. She gave kind, supportive care to my elderly dog with diligent and respectful efforts. Upon my return, my dog was happily prancing around with a lot of energy! I feel that was because Willie received great care from Lehua, while I was away. I will continue to schedule appointments for Lehua to come over to help support me and my dog.”

“Thank you again for dropping in on our pets, Ari! You always do such an awesome job with them and it's a huge weight off our shoulders to know they are so well taken care of while we are away 🥰”

About: I love animals all shapes, sizes, and ages! I’ve taken care of many animals in other’s homes— but back home (on the mainland), I have a rescue rottie who’s 4, a husky who’s 5, and a border collie who’s 17 (and still kicking!) I also have two sweet kitties. I can handle big dogs, senior dogs, and dogs with special meds or dietary restrictions. Let me care for your babies! I currently work in the morning, usually about 5a-12/1p, but I can drop in or walk anytime after that! I usually go on an evening walk everyday anyways, so your baby will definitely get some exercise with me! I’ll come to your home throughout the day as many times as your pets may need! I’ll be sure to play with them, give them food/water, let them out to potty, and make sure all of their needs are taken care of so you won’t have to worry!
“Leonard was great! Kept my 3 cats alive and well! Gave me great peace of mind knowing they were well cared for when I went back to the mainland to deal with my mom's care.”

About: I have over 3 years of experience caring for dogs of all sizes and personalities. Friends, neighbors, and family have trusted me to walk, feed, bathe, and even provide overnight care for their pets. I am patient and attentive, and I treat every dog as if they were my own. I also have experience with puppies and senior dogs, making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. My goal is to give every pet a fun, secure, and stress-free experience As a mom and stay-at-home parent, I have plenty of time and flexibility to care for pets throughout the day. I’m available on weekdays after 2pm and all day on weekends for boarding, walking, and playtime. Being home most of the time allows me to give your pets constant love and attention. As a mom and pet lover, I provide a safe, loving, and family-style environment for all pets. My home has a fenced yard where dogs can play, plus two friendly dogs to keep them company. I can crate your dog if needed, and I always make sure they have fresh water, clean spaces, and lots of love. Your fur babies will be cared for like part of my own family
“Ciara is absolutely amazing! She is so caring and patient, especially with my timid puppy. She took the time to make him feel comfortable and truly helped bring him out of his shell. Throughout my trip, she sent photos and detailed updates about their time together, which gave me so much peace of mind—especially since it was my first time being away from him and he’s still so young. I truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend her services.”

“Daija was amazing with our pups! She was very communicative with us while we were out of town and sent lots of cute videos of our pups having fun!! Definitely will be rebooking ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️”

“Naomi is the best kitty sitter. When Naomi first sat for my kitty, he was skidish, but after her first time with Remmy he was much calmer. When she came to visit just before I left, my kitty RAN to her. We were both shocked! He was very happy when I got home. Happy adventures Naomi.”

My approach is intentional and detail-oriented—I prioritize safety, structure, and individualized care so each pet feels comfortable, cared for, and at home while their owner is away. And yes, I'll provide many toys to keep your loved one enriched & happy. :) I am fully available on Tuesdays from early morning to late afternoon, which allows for flexible scheduling, extended care, or daytime sitting. I provide care in a calm, clean, pet-free home where I only host one small dog or cat at a time, allowing for full attention and a low-stress environment. Pets will primarily stay in the main living room/kitchen open area or a quiet spare office room, depending on what makes them most comfortable. The home has natural airflow and a light breeze throughout, and air conditioning is available during warmer days to keep pets cool and comfortable. I also have a small balcony available, and I will only bring pets outside on it if the owner approves. For exercise and enrichment, I have access to ample walking paths in my neighborhood as well as a dedicated on-leash dog park nearby. All outdoor time is closely supervised and tailored to each pet’s needs and routine. About: I’ve taken care of cats and dogs of various ages, genders, and life stages for friends and family. I have experience taking care of senior pets in critical condition and have handled emergency situations with urgency and care. I take animals’ wellbeing very seriously and I love taking care of them. I am currently unemployed and take online college classes so I have lots of free time! My only obligation is driving my partner to/from work but it’s easy to work around that! My cats are strictly indoor only and I play with them everyday to ensure they are getting good exercise and entertainment. A pet’s safety is my number one priority, they will not be left unsupervised or unleashed outside of the household while they are under my care.
About: I own two dogs of my own, a terrier named Roscoe and a wiener dog named Dash. If you decide to let me take care of your pet, I guarantee they will receive all the attention and love they deserve. I will feed them, walk them, groom them, and treat them as if they’re my own family. My schedule is flexible and I am willing to work with you to determine what best works for your and your dog/cat. Please feel free to communicate with me on what you think is best for your dog/cat and I will of course respect your wishes, as I understand your animal is a valued and loved member of your family. I hope you choose me to take care of your special, furry family! I do work, but your dog will never be alone for more than three hours at a time, as I’m able to go home frequently during works hours. I have a fenced yard, and two dogs of my own to help keep your dog company. I have plenty of toys and treats to keep your dog entertained for hours.
“Kenzie did drop in visits and walks while I was away. She is very knowledgeable, conscientious, and professional that I felt assured about the care of my pups. Highly recommend Kenzie to watch after your pups. Thank you Kenzie!”

About: I have grown up with dogs and know how to be friendly with them. I also currently have a dog of my own named Lucky, and have had him for 3 years. I love him and make sure to show as such by giving him constant attention and love; the amount of love I’ll show your dogs will be the same amount I show my own dog. I am typically not busy and do not have any other jobs outside of pet sitting, so my schedule is often times open and flexible I typically allow dogs to go wherever I go unless it’s clear they’re not allowed within a certain area or if that area isn’t safe; of course I don’t let them follow me outside unless the area is fenced or if they have a leash on. I’ll also keep a close eye on your dog and make sure they’re not doing anything they’re not supposed to.
About: I treat every pet like family, offering constant communication, photo updates, and reliable routines so owners always feel connected and confident. I love all animals and I have been around animals all my life and I'm excited to meet everyone's furry friends. I currently work part-time in a restaurant, so my weekday hours can vary. However, I always work Friday and Saturday nights (typically 3:30–8:30 PM or 5–11 PM). Outside of those shifts, I’m very flexible and available whenever I’m not working. I make sure to keep my schedule updated so you always know when I’m free. When caring for dogs whether in my home or my client’s home I focus on creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment. I always follow the dog’s usual routine for feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions you provide. I make sure doors and gates stay secured, keep hazardous items out of reach, and give constant supervision during outdoor time. I take the time to build trust with every dog by going at their pace, offering gentle interaction, and paying close attention to their behavior and comfort levels. Whether your dog needs extra play, quiet time, or reassurance, I’m always patient and attentive. My goal is for your dog to feel relaxed, safe, and cared for just like they would with you.
“A big Thank you to Ariel. She is not only patient but knowledgeable and responsible. She did a great job taking care of Astro and taught both him and I that walking doesn’t have to be such a chore. If i’m out of town I refuse to book with anyone else if she’s available.”

Cat parents share their Rover experiences - Wahiawā
I appreciate Corinne’s assistance in helping my husband take care of our small farm while I was away. She was very responsive. She sent updates and pictures every time she visited. I highly recommend Corinne, she’s dependable and trustworthy, which are important qualities to me when looking for a petsitter.

Our normal cat sitter had a family emergency and canceled our reservations. Meaghan was willing to help us on short notice. She did a fantastic job. We received daily updates and pictures. We had added a bunch of extra chores for her, one of the cats needing medication as such. She even kept up with vacuuming up the tiny bits of food that can tend to be thrown around when the cats eat. We came home to relaxed kitties and a clean house. We intended to contact her first if we ever have the need. Highly recommend!

Mikayla took amazing care of our two cats while we were away on vacation! She provided great photos during every visit and made sure the cats received lots of attention. We don’t usually let people outside our family watch our cats, but Mikayla put all our fears aside. We booked her with little notice and she very graciously agreed to come over within 24 hrs to meet the cats prior to us leaving. 100/10 recommend!! We will definitely be booking with her again should the need arise. Thank you Mikayla from two very happy cat parents!

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
