About: I began pet sitting as a child and am a true animal lover, especially when it comes to little dogs. I’m intentional, attentive, and determined to provide exceptional care! In college, I dog sat for several of my professors, two of which had dogs with special needs. I have experience with both puppies and seniors. My own senior dog recently crossed the rainbow bridge. Her care was rather intense the last 6 months of her life, but it gave me a special place in my heart for senior dogs. I adopted her as a puppy when I was 13, and she was my greatest joy! I taught her many many tricks and trained her myself, so I am very confident with puppies and young dogs as well. I miss having the love of a dog in my life but am not quite ready to adopt my next doggie, so let me pour all my love into yours! I work from home and love having a pup snuggled next to me! I am able to take long and frequent breaks to play with dogs, walk, go outside, etc! My schedule is very flexible. I have a fully fenced in back yard, minimal stairs(only 3 going off the deck into the yard) no other pets or children, lots of cozy nap spots. Safety is of utmost importance to me, and I can assure you that any dog in my care will be attended to closely at all times. I keep a tidy house with nothing dangerous in reach of a dog. My senior Yorkie recently passed, and I would love to spend time with some sweet dogs!

“Christina just started walking my dog this week and so far, so great! Lucy is excited to see her when she arrives. The communication with Christina has also been very good, and the detailed notes about the walks are very appreciated!!”

About: I have three rescue boston terriers. My husband and I have fostered 21 dogs. I have experience with dogs terrified of humans, terrified of other dogs, not house trained and dogs that eat my AirPods. Dogs are special, deserving of patience and kindness. I found it tough to find the right person for my dogs so I decided to become what I wanted in others! I work from home with a flexible schedule. I can come by and let dogs out, take walks or have them stay at my house under 24 hour supervision. I have a fenced yard and a larger yard with 25 foot lead rope. I also have a doggie door that leads to the fenced in yard. We do not frequent dog parks but I live near a large greenway for great walks and sniffs.

About: I have taken care of and owned dogs my entire life. I have dealt with puppies to senior pups and everything in between! I also have a yorkiepoo myself! I take care of my dog and cat daily. My dogs name is java, he is a sweetie, and my cats name is Blu, he keeps more to himself. I don’t have a yard, but my complex has many places for walks as well as a dog park! We have a decently sized fenced patio!

About: I grew up in a home always having at least 2 pups running around & have always enjoyed being around animals. While I have always helped out with our own animals ever since I was little, I have been house sitting/pet sitting for others since I was 10! I also have experience with a wide age range, from puppies to senior pups. I have a few families I regularly dog-sit consistently that I’ve met through rover, and would love to add some new faces to my “dog family” & love on your pup while you’re away! :) I work full time Monday-Thursday, these days I am free after 6pm. I am also available on weekends (Friday-Sunday) for all the cuddles, walks & fetch games we can fit in! I have a cat - Luna - who is the sweetest ball of fluff you will ever meet, however, she is very anxious and shy. While she does very well with other cats, she doesn’t do well with dogs. Watching your pup in their own environment would be ideal, not only for them, but for her.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs in my personal life and fall in love with any dog I come across. Your baby will be enormously loved while under my care, just as if they were my own. I work from home the majority of the time and have a flexible schedule, so all the more time to spend loving on your dog! I have no pets of my own at the moment, so no worries on co-habitation. My apartment complex is filled with dogs to play with at the dog park!

About: Hey, my name is Matt! I have experience caring for cats, dogs, chickens, goats, horses, and cattle. I grew up on a farm in Alaska. I am self employed and have a great degree of flexibility on work location. I can spend time with your pets and schedule my work around your pet’s needs. I will meet with you in-person prior to booking so that I can meet you and your pets and take detailed notes about needs and expectations during my stay.

About: I have experience pet sitting with cats, dogs, rabbits, and exotic fish. The highest number of pets I have cared for in one sitting is seven, 4 cats, 1 rabbit, and two exotic fish. Right now I cannot have pets of my own, so I am living vicariously through others and giving their pets all my love and affection. I am currently a graduate student (Veterinary Social Work) who does not currently have the time for a full-time job, but it's in need of money. I have time on the weekends and I can watch pets after classes or in the evenings while doing homework. I will be especially free during the summer and holidays. I will not be able to care for animals in my own home since I have members of my family that are allergic to both cats and dogs. In someone else's home, I make sure I know where everything is located and what to do in case of emergencies. I will also make sure that the environment is safe everyday and that I won't leave it anything that can cause harm to the animals.

About: I am an animal lover who doesn’t currently have any pets of my own, but I have taken care of my family dogs and other peoples’ animals as well. I work 7-3pm during the week but can be flexible and am available any time on weekends. I have reliable transportation as well. I will fully respect your home while coming and going. I hope to create a loving bond with your sweet pet! I work a full time job during the week but my schedule can be flexible. I am free on the weekends and am willing to travel at most 30 miles. I cannot house pets in my own home but am able to visit your home to take care of your pet. I am able to accommodate your pet any way that they need to make them feel comfortable.

About: I’ve had dogs in my life as far back as I can remember, and they’re just the BEST. I’ve got experience with large, high-energy, reactive dogs as well as chill lil sweetheart snuggle pups. Big or small, I love ‘em all. I also have experience with cats, rabbits, birds, and fish! I’ve got a flexible schedule, and weekends and evenings are especially open! Just give me notice. Nothing like adding some pet snuggles to my week. I’m happy to care for your furry fam whenever I’m free! All preferences can be discussed in advance! By default, I follow all feeding and walking instructions so your pets can maintain their routine and feel more comfortable even with a new human around. I also love sending pics to show they’re safe, happy, and - as always - adorable.

About: I grew up in a large, animal-loving family and have had and cared for countless breeds of dog, cat, bird, fish, reptile and rodent. I truly love all animals, no matter how big or small. I respect their space and tend to build trust easily! I work remotely from home and my day-to-day schedule is pretty flexible. I take daily walks as-is so adding a furry friend to the mix (walk or drop in visit) is a bonus! I have years of dog handling experience, both on and off leash. I have had multiple dogs across my lifetime of which was the main or sole caregiver and treat every animal with respect and love.

About: With 20 years of pet care experience, I provide loving, reliable, and personalized care for pets of all ages. Whether it's energetic puppies needing training, senior dogs requiring gentle attention, or simply ensuring your furry friend feels safe and happy, I’ve got it covered! I specialize in long walks, playtime, medication administration, and comforting anxious pets. My goal is to make every pet feel at home while giving pet parents peace of mind. Let’s keep those tails wagging! Pet care is a natural part of my daily routine! Whether your furry friend needs structured feeding times, medication, or just some extra snuggles, I’m here to provide consistent and loving care tailored to their routine! I prioritize safety, trust, and comfort in every pet care experience. Whether caring for pets in my home or a client’s, I ensure a secure, stress-free environment where they feel safe and loved. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding schedules, medication, and exercise needs. I’m attentive to behavioral cues and provide a calm, nurturing space for anxious or shy pets. Cleanliness is a top priority—I maintain a fresh litter box for cats and a tidy, hazard-free space for all pets. Your furry friend’s well-being is always my top concern!

About: I have more dog pictures on my phone than I do selfies. I spend my free time exercising with my own dog, Lylah and hiking in the area. Being the daughter of a veterinarian, I’ve grown up surrounded by animals. I feel I can learn as much from them as they can from me! Working over a year for an official pet sitting/dog walking service has taught me excellent customer service and professionalism. I’m used to dealing with breeds of all kinds and am not intimidated by animals with aggression or anxiety. I am very patient and understanding, especially if the pet is in poor health or was subject to abuse in a previous household. I am quick to fix behavioral problems and may even be able to help you become more comfortable with your pet! I have several routine visits on my calendar for the next 6 months. However, I am usually able to work in new clients if the times of the visit are flexible. I guarantee your pet the attention it deserves when you (the best friend) isn’t available! I am accustomed to feeding, walking, medication times, command practice, bowel and bladder programs or any sort of organized scheduling for your pet's puppy training. I understand different people have different methods and am happy to learn

Ava B.
“My sister in-law is one of the most qualified people I know to work at Rover as a pet caregiver. In an industry where most people are looking for an easy way to make quick money, Ava would truly be working out of her love animals and that will translate to her quality of work. I couldn’t imagine passing her up for this role if I was hiring for Rover. My Silver Lab, Leo, is one of my favorite things in my life and I would not hesitate to entrust Ava with the responsibility of caring for him. This would be a quality hire for the image and respectability of Rover in our area.”

Karen is very helpful and communicative! She took great care of willow, and even notified me of a beeping she heard in our home and did not leave until I confirmed that it wasn’t anything to worry about. We will be booking her again as she was great with our girl!
