Growing up, I was never able to have pets of my own, so pet sitting has given me the joy of welcoming, many animals into my life as a part of my extended family. I grew up with my sweet Shih Tzu and currently share a home with my roommate’s 3-year-old Goldendoodle, so I’m very familiar with the joy, energy, and companionship dogs bring into our lives. While I am newer to professional pet care, I have years of experience loving and caring for dogs as part of my everyday life. I am dependable, gentle, and excited to provide your furry friend with walks, playtime, cuddles, and the care they deserve while you are away. About: Hi! While I’m new to Rover, I’m not new to pet sitting. I'm a lifelong animal lover who's been caring for pets since I was 10 years old. From fostering a senior chihuahua to caring for 150 pound mastiffs, I have a wide variety of experience. As a dog owner myself, I know the importance of having someone you trust to take care of your pet. I’m a huge animal lover and truly love nothing more than snuggling up with a cat or dog on the couch. I love sending photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pet is happy and well cared for. I’m a teacher so I’m extremely flexible during the summer. During the school year I do work 7am-3pm so your pet would have to be okay being alone for at least 8 hours. My weekends are low key so I’m able to provide much more undivided attention to your pet. I stay in homes for pet sitting as well as board dogs (dogs only) in my home. If your dog stays with me, I have a large fenced in back yard and very sweet 6 year old golden retriever to keep your pup company. I have two roommates that love pets as well. Your pup is also welcome to sleep with me as that’s what mine typically does. I live near a park and typically take my dog for a 30 minute to 1 hour walk in the evenings and would gladly take your dog for as much or as little of that as you prefer. If I stay in your home, my dog will he cared for by my roommates and I will provide your animals preferred routine.

About: I've been a dog lover my entire life and have had four different dogs throughout my life, giving me experience with a variety of breeds, sizes, personalities, and life stages. When I was 10 years old, I started my own neighborhood dog walking and plant watering business, which taught me responsibility, reliability, and the importance of caring for other people's pets as if they were my own. I know every dog has their own routine and personality, and I enjoy taking the time to make them feel comfortable, safe, and happy. Whether your dog enjoys long walks, playtime, or simply some extra love and attention, I'll provide dependable, compassionate care and treat them like one of my own. I'll be starting graduate school at Vanderbilt this fall, so pet care fits naturally into my weekly routine. I'll be available after my classes to provide walks, drop-in visits, and quality time with your pets. Spending time with animals is something I genuinely enjoy, and I look forward to making it a regular part of my week while helping busy pet owners ensure their pets receive the care, exercise, and attention they deserve. I believe pets are happiest when they can stick to their normal routine. Whether I'm taking your dog for a walk, stopping by for a drop-in visit, or caring for your pet in your home, I'll follow your instructions closely to make sure they feel comfortable and well cared for. I'll provide plenty of exercise, playtime, fresh water, and lots of love and attention while treating both your pet and your home with the same care and respect I would my own.

About: I have been pet sitting for friends, family members, and neighbors since I was in middle school. I have also always been a regular volunteer at the animal shelters, so I have experience with all kinds of dog personalities, behaviors, and activity levels. I have trained all my dogs myself so if you are looking for help with a puppy/newly adopted dog, I’d love to help encourage those good behaviors while you are away! I work a pretty relaxed, work from home schedule. I am extremely active so would love to help you out with walks while you are at work, but would also love some couch potato company if that’s what your pet is into! Currently not available for any new walk/drop in requests Mondays & Wednesdays from 11-2. For drop-in visits, I will always take the time to figure out what your pet needs, and never make them feel rushed! For walks, I will cater our time to whatever your pet is looking for, whether that is as much distance as possible or as many stops and sniffs as possible! The end goal is your pet coming home happy and healthy and I’m more than happy to do whatever that takes!

About: I’ve worked with a range of animals from puppies and kitties to seniors. I understand each animal is unique in its needs and routines, and will strive to give your pet the best care possible. PLEASE NOTE: I may not be available for day-of bookings. I currently work a 8am-5pm Monday through Friday, and would be available in the mornings before work, during lunch (can occur between 11:30am-1:30pm) and after work (most days). I am in town and free most weekends. I’d love to chat and see what works best for your pet. I am comfortable with taking out your pet for walks, bathroom breaks and cuddles. I can feed them on their schedule, I am comfortable with crates, and I am familiar with administering pills / flea medicine.

I’m looking for a fun way to fill my free time and help out in the community! I am currently in PA school in clinical rotations, so my schedule varies month to month. I grew up with cats and have always had at least one in the house, so caring for animals has been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. When I was 12, I rescued my first dog — a senior teacup Chihuahua named Bella — and cared for her for nearly 8 wonderful years. That experience taught me just how important it is to find someone trustworthy and compassionate to care for your pets when you’re away. Throughout high school, I volunteered at my local animal shelter, where I worked with cats and dogs of all ages and temperaments, as well as assisting in the clinic. I also have about 7 years of professional pet and house-sitting experience, primarily caring for cats and medium to large dogs in their own homes. I love taking dogs on walks, making sure they get exercise, fresh air, and plenty of attention while keeping them comfortable in their normal routine. My top priority is making sure your pets feel safe, happy, loved, and stress-free while you’re away — so you can feel stress-free too. I can’t wait to meet you and your furry family member!
