About: I have a deep-seated love for all kinds of cats, and I take pride in my ability to connect with even the most distrustful felines. This special bond I form with cats, including the more challenging ones, sets me apart as a sitter. My volunteering experience at animal shelters has equipped me with extensive knowledge about various cat behaviors, allowing me to understand and respond to their unique needs effectively. Whether it's a playful kitten, a serene adult, or a cautious senior, I can adapt my approach to provide the best care and companionship. In addition to my ability to connect with cats on a deep emotional level, I am also skilled in practical aspects of care, such as feeding, grooming, administering medication, and understanding behavioral cues. My commitment extends beyond just meeting their basic needs; I strive to create a nurturing and stimulating environment for each cat. I believe every cat deserves patience, love, and understanding, and this belief is at the heart of my approach to pet sitting. By choosing me as your sitter, you are ensuring that your cat is in hands that not only understand their practical care requirements but also deeply respect and connect with their individual personalities and needs. I'm currently a part-time master student at WashU and I have a pretty flexible schedule. I'm available most time during the week, but occasionally be busy on Mondays and Wednesdays. I will clean the litter and fill the food for your cats. If they are in the mood, I'll play with them using a laser pointer.

20. Taylor R.
About: I have been with pets my whole life! Ever since I was born, there has been at least one dog in my home. Now that I am an adult, I have lived with and loved on our dogs through all stages of life, from when they were just a few months old, to 15 years old. In addition to our family dogs, I have dog- and housesat for plenty of neighbors and family friends over the years! I currently work ~8:30 - 4:30 M-F in the Brentwood area. If you’d like, I can do a check in during my lunch hour :). I am free most weekends, and have plenty of free time after work, giving me plenty of time to walk, check-in, or stay with your dog overnight. I love going on walks whenever I can, so I would love to fit your pet into that aspect of my routine as well! My previous dog had kidney issues, so I am accustomed to when we had to take him out every hour or two. I am cognizant of the different needs of dogs, whether those be age or health related, and am committed to making sure they are the happiest and healthiest they can be while they are under my watch! I am always sure to put dogs on a leash and keep extra attention to them while walking or just going outside to use the bathroom, never letting them out of my sight.
