About: I’ve grown up caring for both large and small breeds, including Cane Corsos and Shih Tzus. I’m patient, reliable, and love building trust with every dog. I’ve house sat for neighbors and friends for years, and I’m confident with senior dog care, giving meds, and sticking to routines. I treat every pup like my own! I work part-time on weekends, but I’m fully available during the week for walks, drop-ins, or overnight care. About: I've never not had a dog. As a child I assisted my parents with pet care for dogs and many other animals. Growing up at different times we had hamsters, rabbits, birds, etc., but we always had a dog. By my 20s I got my first cat and by my mid 20s I got married and adopted my first dog in my adult life (RIP Kora). I've cared for dogs from puppyhood and training through to senior and end of life care. In my 44 years I've run the gamut of dog care from feeding, bathing, medicines, fleas and tick care, walking, and even more unsavory things like dealing with skunk sprays. I'm a mom to four fur babies (2 dogs & 2 cats) as well as 2 human teenagers. And I'm a wife to my wonderful husband who is trained in the medical field. "A house is not a home without a dog" I'm a full-time homemaker and crafter. Unless I'm running a kid somewhere I'm home and available for your pup. Dogs will have access to the backyard to do their business, run around, and play. I have a decent sized fenced and secure yard for your dog to run around in. If I'm coming to your house, my own dogs will be attended to at home by my family. If you're coming to my house a meet and greet is required as my older dog can be curmudgeonly and is picky about which dogs she wants to get along with. We will know how she feels within the first 10 seconds of meeting. She is a 10 year old rescue mutt. I also have a 2 year old rescue male who is a big furry lovable ball of energy. Both of my dogs are altered and up to date on their shots. Dogs coming to my home must be cat friendly.

Here’s how I ensure every walk and visit is safe, secure, and stress-free—for both you and your pup: • Leash & Collar Check: I always double-check that harnesses, collars, and leashes are properly secured before each walk to prevent escapes. • Controlled Walks: I avoid high-traffic areas, unfamiliar dogs, or unsafe terrain. I stick to familiar routes unless you approve otherwise, and I stay alert to potential hazards like broken glass or hot pavement. • Personalized Attention: I never walk dogs from different households together—your dog gets my full focus the entire time. • Weather Awareness: I adjust our plans based on weather. On hot days, I’ll avoid overheating with short walks and offer water breaks. In winter, I’ll watch for ice or cold paw pads. • Home Safety: For drop-ins, I make sure doors are locked, hazards are out of reach, food & water is available and I follow your home instructions to a T. • Emergency Preparedness: I carry a phone at all times, keep emergency contacts saved, and know the location of the nearest vet or animal hospital just in case.

About: I have taken care of dogs, including my family dog and family friends. I can go on walks, feed, and take dogs out often throughout the day when needed. I have done doggy day out at college, where I have taken care of a dog from an Delaware Humane Animal Partners. Finally, I have experience fostering a young cat for 1 year. I am working part time, mostly at nights. I will be able to spend a decent amount of time caring for your pet and keeping them busy! I have a fenced in yard at my house, and no pets at home. If I am at a client's house, I will respect their rules and walk or take the dog out accordingly.

About: When I was nine, my parents got their first Afghan hound, and I was heavily involved in their dog show routine, including grooming and being a junior handler. When I moved out and started working full-time, I didn't have time for a dog, so my experience with cats started (about 25 years ago). After my second marriage though, I was back into the dog (and cat) life as my wife had two dogs when we met... that was about 10 years ago. I was laid off and I'm currently looking to fill the gap while I look for my next job. So, for now, I have a very flexible schedule. We have one dog and three cats at home now (we lost our golden doodle at the beginning of the COVID pandemic). They are all happy and healthy and have unique personalities (one cat is even trained to catch and fetch puff balls). We spend tons of time with our animals, and at the end of the day, it's typical to have all four on the couch with us for TV... The cats especially enjoy funny cat videos!

About: I have worked at a dog boarding facility, or “dog hotel”, as well as a veterinary clinic where I was in charge of caring for both dogs and cats. Walking, feeding, bathing, and playing with them while ensuring their safety was part of my job. I also pet-sit for friends and family often. I currently work on my own schedule doing freelance art, so I’m using this to supplement my income. So, my schedule is free to work around yours. Whatever your normal routine is with your dog, I can follow it. I have worked with many different breeds of dogs, and I don’t mind if they are the energetic type and just want to play all day or if they’re the type to lounge around and sleep all day.

About: I grew up with two dogs (a German Shepherd and a bichon frise). They were the sweetest boys to ever exist!! I do not currently have any pets because I don’t think I could handle the loss. But, I have been pet sitting other people’s pets for over 5 years outside of rover. I have pet sit both cats and dogs :) I’m currently working part time. So I have lots of time to spend with your pets. I live with my parents so even while I am at work, my mom works from home so she can always let your dog out in our fenced in yard. I have a fenced in yard. Pets in our house are allowed inside and on furniture. If you request it I will crate your dog. I have a little sister who is 9 and she loves animals just as much as I do and respects their space but I do require all pets I take care of to be kid friendly
