I grew up caring for cats, dogs, and horses. I loved walking the neighborhood dogs as a kid and I'm excited to get back to doing so as an adult. I’ve been happy to be pet sitting with Rover for approximately 3 years now. MY EXPERIENCE INCLUDES: Dogs, cats, exotic pets, freshwater fish, livestock, & farm animals. I have worked in conservation, with wildlife, and have volunteered at a dog & cat rescue, as well. I’ve raised birds, goats, pigs, rabbits, etc. Animal husbandry is a passion of mine. Have taken dog training classes (: Dogs and goats = life's best friends ❤️ Cats are a close second though, if they wanna be 😉 My friends, family, and neighbors have relied on me to care for their animals in the past. About: I have taken care of dogs since I was around 5 years old. I have experience giving dogs pills, being consistent with training processes, and with senior dog care. I have also taken care of cats. I’m able to take care of dogs and cats in the mornings and evenings during the week and all day on weekends and holidays. I am a homebody so once I get done with work during the day, I am not leaving and play with my animals. I have a fenced in yard with a very friendly dog and cat. If needed, I have a room where I can separate my cat from other dogs to allow non-cat friendly dogs to stay. This room has his food, water, bed, toys, and litter box, while also being one I spend a large amount of time in so he is not lonely. My dog is fed once in the morning and is allowed to eat when he wants to and he runs outside in the backyard when he feels like it. I do adjust how often he gets fed and if he is free feeding when other animals are present. In clients' homes, I follow feeding and care instructions.

About: Hi! I’m Bailey — I’ve worked in the vet field my entire career and am studying to become a veterinarian. I’ve also volunteered at animal shelters and love all animals! With my experience and care, your pets will be in great hands for pet sitting. About: My family has had a rescue dog since she was a puppy and is now a senior dog. I have had my own 2 shelter dogs living with me full time for over 2 years so I have been exposed to dealing with separation anxiety and many different reactions. I know I will be able to exceed your pets needs and provide lots of love and attention! I am currently working full time, in office M-F so my availability is mostly weekends. Our household has 2 young dogs so after work I will take them on a run daily for their high energy. I currently have 2 dogs and a cat on a few acres of land so they are very active outside. I used to live in an apartment and would exercise my 3 year old lab retriever for about 2 hours a day! I love playing fetch and games with our animals and am excited to entertain your pets!

About: Greetings! First - thank you for considering me and my services. I have been a pet owner all my life, and have been the proud parent of hamsters, fish, cats, dogs, and a rabbit! I'm also a responsible house sitter, having been both a homeowner and a renter, I understand the value of not just your pets, but your possessions, your mail and plants, the cozy space of your home, the relationships with your neighbors. I have provided these services for friends and families for most of my life. I have always loved animals and I have always owned pets, been a member of dog parks and puppy play groups, and I volunteered for the Champaign Humane Society for many years. Finally, I recently lost my dog of 15 years, and although I now live somewhere that does not allow pets, I need animals in my life! I'm retired, so I can be flexible with your scheduling needs for both your pets and your home. I'm both an early riser and a night owl, so whatever works for you also works for me! About: One of my earliest memories was at the age of five. My mom brought my sister home from the hospital after she was born and I asked, "Can we have a kitten instead?!" Our parents started us with goldfish like most do. We then graduated to hamsters, followed by kittens. Currently, I have two dogs of my own that I consider to be my fur babies. Our pets can be much like our children, so I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to provide the care your animals need. My experience with animals comes from having my own as well as taking care of friends and family members pets as well. I love animals so much, I paint them on canvas as another passion of mine. Always. -Sometimes your cats need a break from their very stressful cat lives and should spend a cold winter morning watching cat TV while curled up in load of towels still warm from the dryer (that you actually wanted to fold, but whatever) -There's always room on your lap for one more furry family member I bring over 20 years of experience caring for other people's pets like they were my own, starting with my early work in a vet office during high school and college. Since then, I’ve cared for a wide range of animals — dogs, cats, birds, Guinea pigs, lizards, and other small companions — and have also fostered extensively for my local animal shelter and I loved every minute of it. My foster work has included animals in hospice; seniors; dogs going through heartworm treatment; those with serious behavior issues; advanced starvation cases; kidney disease; and pets with other complex medical needs, so I am very comfortable following detailed treatment plans, giving medications, and monitoring changes in behavior or health. I understand how important consistency and attention to detail are, especially when your furry family needs extra care. However complex the case, I always look for ways to make your pet happy in addition to healthy, whether that be an extra slow walk with lots of sniffing, an enrichment toy with diet-approved snacks, or just some quiet time on the couch together. Most importantly, I know what I don’t know. Every pet is an individual with their own history and needs, and I never assume my past experience automatically applies to your furry family member. If I ever have a question or concern, I reach out immediately, and in a genuine emergency, I won’t hesitate to contact your veterinarian. I work remotely and have a flexible schedule, so I can work around your and your furry family's established schedule. When staying at your home, I can be with your pet most of the day. This means they get lots of attention and snuggles (if, and only if, they like snuggles!), and I can watch for shifts in their behavior, appetite, or energy levels and let you know right away. I only provide care in your home, which allows your furry family to stay in their normal environment and maintain their regular routine. I’ve found this keeps stress low and helps pets feel safe while you’re away. When I’m staying overnight, I treat your home and your furry family’s routine with the same care and respect I’d want for my own. I follow all feeding, walking, medication, and bedtime instructions exactly as given.

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.

About: I love animals of all kinds. I have had cats and dogs my whole life as well as help watch my neighbors pets while they are gone. Let me take great care of your pet while you're away! My schedule varies, sometimes I travel for work but when I am home I work from home so pet sitting is very flexible and easy for me. I can accomodate last minute bookings also.
