About: Ive been around dogs a lot. I have 3 of my own. One named Hope. She’s more active, and needs alot of playtime. So I’m definitely good at managing that. One name is Oakley, he likes to be babied and cuddled. Ones name is Hank, and he is just the chillest dog haha. I already have dogs so I work 24/7 with my own. I have a lot of time on my hands so I’m free whenever. Anytime you just need a break I can come help, when you’re gone. I’ll do it. I give baths, I walk them, I play ball/fetch with them. I take them potty, feed them, give them treats. I do all the things it takes to take care of a dog, the same way you would treat a baby.

About: Worked at a dog daycare for two years, veterinary clinic for two years, and animal caretaker job for my school. I did pet sitting for family, friends, and professors on multiple occasions. I am currently in my 4th year of veterinary school. I currently have five cats and a German Shepherd of my own that I am training. I have owned and been around family dogs and cats my whole life. I currently have clinical rotations for veterinary school. Most weeks I spend time in the afternoon/night studying once I get home so I am always happy to stop by for dog/cat check-in and take dogs for walks. I can schedule visits at my own home or a clients home. I currently have five cats and a dog. I like to meet the animals with the owner before hand if possible (okay if not) so the animal feels most comfortable meeting me when their owner is around. I send as many updates as the owner likes with pictures. I usually follow a given list that owners provide or tell me. I like to stick to a schedule if one is provided. I always alert owners of things that happen that are out of the normal for their pets even if it’s something small. I value body language and behavior of pets for comfort levels and moving at their own pace. I try to center each visit around the pet and make it the best experience possible for them and the least stressful.

About: Hello! My name is Sam, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I’ve been able to walk and talk. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for a wide range of animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m currently earning my degree in Animal Science at the U of I, with plans to pursue either veterinary school or a career in animal conservation or animal control. I’ve wanted to join Rover ever since I was little and watched my aunt run a mini daycare out of her home. Since then, I’ve pet‑sat for neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed an extra hand with their pets. This summer, I’m interning at the Vermillion County Animal Shelter to continue building hands‑on experience. I’ve also worked as a Cat Care Volunteer at the Champaign PetSmart, where I helped with daily care, cleaning, and socialization. I’m excited to bring my experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for! I'm currently working a part-time internship so I have plenty of free time for your fur-babies on weekends (all day) and weekdays (before 11 and after 3)! Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.

One year in school for veterinary medicine caring for various animals and in charge of cleaning, sanitation and care for all animals boarded at the school. About: I have been raised around all sorts of pets ranging from hamsters to dogs of all ages. I can work mostly on evenings and late afternoons during the week and a full schedule for weekends.
