“Emma house sitted for us for a couple of days and took care of our pug Cookie. Emma was very communicative and thoughtful of Cookie’s needs and respectful of our home. She sent lots of pictures and updates to keep us informed while we were away. We definitely look forward to using her services in the future. Thank you Emma!”

“Phenomenal. Took wonderful care of my special needs dog, I had no concerns about his well being. And she went above and beyond caring for our home. She is defiently going to be a regular on our roster!”

“Michelle was great with our dog, Duke. This is the second time she watched him, and he was SO excited to see her! Unfortunately, our address wasn't updated in Rover and so she had to go across town out of her way first before coming to the correct address. Despite our inconveniencing her, she was still willing to stay a little late if we needed her to. We really appreciated her patience with both US and with Duke :)”

About: I bring years of hands-on animal care experience from veterinary clinics, kennels, and long-term pet sitting, including special-needs care for a senior dog who requires diapers, hourly potty breaks, medication management, and a strict diet. My background in veterinary support and my 5-year commitment to caring for three dogs from one family means I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable supporting pets with complex routines. I treat every animal with patience, confidence, and genuine love, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because, with school wrapping up, I have plenty of time to focus on consistent, reliable visits. I plan my days around each pet’s needs, keeping feeding, walks, and medications on schedule while balancing a few prior commitments on set days. For the most part, I’m available daily, which allows me to offer flexible booking, dependable check-ins, and attentive pet-focused care that never feels rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly, keeping feeding, meds, and potty schedules consistent while maintaining a calm, clean environment. I provide gentle companionship, monitor behavior and health closely, and send regular updates so owners feel connected and reassured. My goal is to respect the home, reduce stress, and ensure every pet feels safe and understood.
About: Ive been around dogs a lot. I have 3 of my own. One named Hope. She’s more active, and needs alot of playtime. So I’m definitely good at managing that. One name is Oakley, he likes to be babied and cuddled. Ones name is Hank, and he is just the chillest dog haha. I already have dogs so I work 24/7 with my own. I have a lot of time on my hands so I’m free whenever. Anytime you just need a break I can come help, when you’re gone. I’ll do it. I give baths, I walk them, I play ball/fetch with them. I take them potty, feed them, give them treats. I do all the things it takes to take care of a dog, the same way you would treat a baby.
“Carli took amazing care of our dogs and cat. She was very flexible with us given the somewhat short notice of our request, very good at staying in touch, and sent plenty of pictures of the kids! They loved having her over to keep them company. We would happily recommend her services and will definitely be coming to her first in the future!”

“Kortney followed our instructions and sent us updates as requested. I felt comfortable leaving my cats with her and I’m sure they loved her! I would definitely use her services again when needed”

“Marissa was a great sitter for our Kai dog. She sent pictures daily and Kai ate great with her. The house was clean when we returned and Kai was well taken care of. We’d be happy to have her sit for us again :)”
“Kylie was amazing, checked in every day, suffered through a storm with my big, wimp of a beast dog and my house was spotless when I got home. Highly recommended, but I’d like to save her for myself.”

About: Hello! My name is Sam, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I’ve been able to walk and talk. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for a wide range of animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m currently earning my degree in Animal Science at the U of I, with plans to pursue either veterinary school or a career in animal conservation or animal control. I’ve wanted to join Rover ever since I was little and watched my aunt run a mini daycare out of her home. Since then, I’ve pet‑sat for neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed an extra hand with their pets. This summer, I’m interning at the Vermillion County Animal Shelter to continue building hands‑on experience. I’ve also worked as a Cat Care Volunteer at the Champaign PetSmart, where I helped with daily care, cleaning, and socialization. I’m excited to bring my experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for! I'm currently working a part-time internship so I have plenty of free time for your fur-babies on weekends (all day) and weekdays (before 11 and after 3)! I care for pets by following their normal routines, keeping their space clean, ensuring safety, and providing consistent attention, exercise, and monitoring so they stay comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.

“Kate did a great job taking care of my girls while we went on a weekend trip. I tend to worry when I leave my animals but the entire weekend I felt like they were in good hands. She gave me thorough updates and even checked to make sure we got home alright.”

“Rebecca was amazing with our King. She knew his favorite was bananas and she shared those with him. Getting the daily updates with pictures was amazing. She was very thorough when we met and asked all kinds of great questions. We will definitely use her again. I know King is going to miss her.”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters? I genuinely love getting to know each pet’s unique personality and routine. Whether it’s a slow walk for an older pup or high-energy playtime for a young one, I meet animals where they are. I have two dogs of my own—Theo and Sage—so I understand how important it is to have someone you trust caring for your pets. Beyond personal experience, I have a BA in animal science and I’m currently in the process of earning my master’s degree in Agricultural Leadership, Education, and Communication, with a focus on companion animals. I also work as an assistant educator, so I bring a calm, thoughtful approach to every visit. I’m confident administering medications, caring for nervous or senior pets, and yes—I genuinely don’t mind deep-cleaning litter boxes. I treat every animal like family, with patience, care, and a whole lot of love I’m currently working full time until 3pm. However Whether it’s morning walks, meal times, or evening play sessions, I’m used to planning my day around pets’ needs. I live in a three-story townhouse with plenty of space for pets to feel comfortable—whether they want to play or have their own quiet area. My own dogs are friendly, but I can easily keep pets separate if needed. I also have some dog training experience, so I’m confident handling different temperaments and routines. Your pet will be safe, loved, and well cared for here or in your home! I do ask that your pet be crate trained and doesn't bark in the crate since I do live very close to neighbors.
“Megan was wonderful with our two dogs and we would definitely use her services again! She sent pictures throughout her stay and kept us updated. We are confident that our dogs were much more comfortable and less anxious staying at home with Megan, than being boarded.”
