“Mindy was so sweet and kind! My dog who usually is aloof and takes some time to warm up to people instantly was going up to her and wanting attention! I know my babies got lots of loving while I was gone.”

“Phenomenal. Took wonderful care of my special needs dog, I had no concerns about his well being. And she went above and beyond caring for our home. She is defiently going to be a regular on our roster!”

“Michelle was great with our dog, Duke. This is the second time she watched him, and he was SO excited to see her! Unfortunately, our address wasn't updated in Rover and so she had to go across town out of her way first before coming to the correct address. Despite our inconveniencing her, she was still willing to stay a little late if we needed her to. We really appreciated her patience with both US and with Duke :)”

About: I bring years of hands-on animal care experience from veterinary clinics, kennels, and long-term pet sitting, including special-needs care for a senior dog who requires diapers, hourly potty breaks, medication management, and a strict diet. My background in veterinary support and my 5-year commitment to caring for three dogs from one family means I’m reliable, detail-oriented, and fully comfortable supporting pets with complex routines. I treat every animal with patience, confidence, and genuine love, giving owners peace of mind while they’re away. Pet care fits easily into my weekly routine because, with school wrapping up, I have plenty of time to focus on consistent, reliable visits. I plan my days around each pet’s needs, keeping feeding, walks, and medications on schedule while balancing a few prior commitments on set days. For the most part, I’m available daily, which allows me to offer flexible booking, dependable check-ins, and attentive pet-focused care that never feels rushed. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I follow their routine exactly, keeping feeding, meds, and potty schedules consistent while maintaining a calm, clean environment. I provide gentle companionship, monitor behavior and health closely, and send regular updates so owners feel connected and reassured. My goal is to respect the home, reduce stress, and ensure every pet feels safe and understood.
“Emma house sitted for us for a couple of days and took care of our pug Cookie. Emma was very communicative and thoughtful of Cookie’s needs and respectful of our home. She sent lots of pictures and updates to keep us informed while we were away. We definitely look forward to using her services in the future. Thank you Emma!”

“Marissa was a great sitter for our Kai dog. She sent pictures daily and Kai ate great with her. The house was clean when we returned and Kai was well taken care of. We’d be happy to have her sit for us again :)”
“Kortney followed our instructions and sent us updates as requested. I felt comfortable leaving my cats with her and I’m sure they loved her! I would definitely use her services again when needed”

“Carli took amazing care of our dogs and cat. She was very flexible with us given the somewhat short notice of our request, very good at staying in touch, and sent plenty of pictures of the kids! They loved having her over to keep them company. We would happily recommend her services and will definitely be coming to her first in the future!”

“Kylie was amazing, checked in every day, suffered through a storm with my big, wimp of a beast dog and my house was spotless when I got home. Highly recommended, but I’d like to save her for myself.”

About: Hello! My name is Sam, and I’ve loved animals for as long as I’ve been able to walk and talk. I grew up surrounded by dogs and cats so caring for a wide range of animals has always been a natural part of my life. I’m currently earning my degree in Animal Science at the U of I, with plans to pursue either veterinary school or a career in animal conservation or animal control. I’ve wanted to join Rover ever since I was little and watched my aunt run a mini daycare out of her home. Since then, I’ve pet‑sat for neighbors, family friends, and anyone who needed an extra hand with their pets. This summer, I’m interning at the Vermillion County Animal Shelter to continue building hands‑on experience. I’ve also worked as a Cat Care Volunteer at the Champaign PetSmart, where I helped with daily care, cleaning, and socialization. I’m excited to bring my experience, reliability, and genuine love for animals to every pet I care for! I'm currently working a part-time internship so I have plenty of free time for your fur-babies on weekends (all day) and weekdays (before 11 and after 3)! I care for pets by following their normal routines, keeping their space clean, ensuring safety, and providing consistent attention, exercise, and monitoring so they stay comfortable and relaxed while their owners are away.
“Brayden was very professional and communicated well through out the stay. He even brought in some packages that were delivered without being asked. The dogs seemed happy and healthy when we returned.”

“Zoey is fantastic! She was great with our dogs as evidenced by the regular text and picture updates she sends. She was also a lifesaver by being flexible and extending her pet care services when our travel plans home fell apart and got significantly delayed. 10/10 ⭐️ and would definitely recommend Zoey!”

About: I have over 25 years of experience with dogs of my own, specifically larger dogs, and have also helped take care of many friend’s and family member’s dogs over the years. Right now my schedule is pretty open or flexible, with a little notice I can fit into your schedule short term or on a regular basis. I will always give any animal in my care the attention, exercise and love they need and will always talk with all clients ahead of time to make sure their pets are taken care of properly by someone they can trust with their loved ones.
“Rebecca was amazing with our King. She knew his favorite was bananas and she shared those with him. Getting the daily updates with pictures was amazing. She was very thorough when we met and asked all kinds of great questions. We will definitely use her again. I know King is going to miss her.”

About: I’m a lifelong animal lover with 20+ years of dog care experience and a special place in my heart for both dogs and cats. I currently share my home with two English bulldogs, so I know all about the extra care and love our furry friends need. Whether it’s puzzles, playtime, cuddles, or specialized care, I’ll treat your pet like they’re my own. 🐶🐱 I’d love the chance to meet your fur baby and give them the best care while you’re away! Because I work from home and create my own hours, I can easily make pets a priority. Whether it’s morning walks, afternoon playtime, or evening check-ins, I have the freedom to give them the attention they deserve. Caring for pets in someone’s home is a responsibility I take seriously. I’ve completed behavioral and training classes, know how to safely administer medicine and injections, and have experience working with pets that struggle with anxiety or aggression. Sidney pet parents share their Rover experiences
We had a great experience with Emma caring for Midnight over the past week. She was reliable, communicative, and clearly very caring with him. During the first few days, she checked in and asked thoughtful questions to make sure everything was going well, which we really appreciated. It gave us real peace of mind to know he was in good hands while we were away. We came home to a happy, well-cared-for cat and a house that was well looked after too. We’re very grateful and would gladly have her stay with Midnight again.
