About: I have 6 years total experience working at Harbor Road Veterinary Hospital as a Vet Tech/Assistant as well as caring for boarding animals. I have 3 dogs and 3 cats! I’m currently working full-time Monday Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and I spend weekends at home with three dogs and three cats. I will require a harness for walks! I would not want to be in a situation where your dog could get off leash and run off. I am willing to take dogs to the dog park and on walks! depending on the situation I may be able to fit in a walk and/or drop in during the weekdays, just reach out and ask! Boarding - dogs must be dog friendly! Cat friendly would be a plus but the cats are in a separate area of the house blocked off by a gate. I work with Animals 4 days a week at Habor Road Veterinary Hospital as a Veterinary Tech/Assistant. I help provide routine care such as vaccines and Flea/tick/heart worm prevention (under the supervision of a licensed DVM), illness visits, blood panels, nail trims, dematting, etc. With my experience in the Veterinary Field I am confident I can provide a safe trusting environment where your dog/cat will have all their needs met and plenty of love while spending time with me.

About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! Note: I am very flexible with pricing. If my rates seem too high, feel free to reach out anyway and I'll be happy to see see what we can work out. 😊 I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. I am more than happy to care for any kind of animals- not just dogs and cats. My own current pets are two dogs and four cats. I also have experience caring for small animals, various poultry and livestock, and horses. When I was 15 years old I started occasionally farm/house sitting for a family with dogs, horses, and a cat, and caring for all of the animals there during my stay. With them I have worked daytime hours as well as overnight stays for a few days at a time so they could take trips out of state. In my adult life I have branched out, first with Rover a few years ago, and then with expanding farther into launching my private pet care business at the beginning of 2024 while still maintaining my presence on Rover. My client base is steadily growing and I am excited to see where this venture takes me! I am reliable and committed to providing excellent service for my clients. If you want a pet caretaker you can count on who will treat your animals as well as their own, I'm your gal! I work part time as a BHP and I try to be as flexible as possible. My schedule changes depending on the time of year. Currently I work with my human client from 7:15 am - 8:15am and 2:30pm - 5:30pm on weekdays and am off on weekends. I take care of animal clients all days of the week. Please message me and I'll do my best to work something out. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, bad things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dog around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety.

About: I'm a genuine dog lover! I've always trained my dogs on basic tricks and commands.I'm aware that dogs have their own personalities, fears, and strengths. I work part-time. I have a flexible schedule. I'm open to having dogs in my house throughout the week and some weekends, if needed, and also just walks. I don't have a fenced yard. However, I will be with them out in my yard to assure a safe environment. I'll take them hiking or for walks around my area. They are welcome inside my house to sleep and rest.
