About: Since becoming fully remote for my full time job in 2020, I have taken on the roll of “trusted pet-sitter” for over 30 families and almost 50 furry friends. Back home in Maryland, I connected with these families just through word-of-mouth and referrals from happy families. Now that I live here in Maine, I would like to continue my expertise and passion for animals, and connect with some loveable furry friends. I am an attentive, detail-oriented pet-sitter, who also knows the importance of respecting another person’s living space and maintaining routines for pets. After years of taking care of every size, shape and age of dog, no request from the owner is too wacky. From complicated medication directions to particular night time routines, I know your pet is part of your family and deserves to go about life as usual, despite mom/dad not being home. So while I will need WiFi and a desk to type on my laptop while I watch your pet, there is always time for walks, snuggles and whatever else your pet needs. Relaxing time away can only happen if you can trust that your pets are loved and taken care of almost as good as you😊 I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have a quiet space with lots of grass and woods for playing. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. I work closely with pet parents to make sure your pet has everything they need to feel right at home. We are outside a lot! I love to walk in all kinds of weather and I love to play outside whenever possible. In addition, I love farm animals too! Your pets are safe in my back yard. I always go outside with the pets and will use a leash if need be. I make pets feel right at home inside our home as well. About: I’ve taken care of dogs, cats, birds, and small animals for three years now. I also have experience with housesitting and babysitting. I work two 12 hour day shifts a week. I am currently working part time two 12 hour days. Dogs go out before I go to work and after. On my days off I am able to spend more time with them. About: I have experience with animals from Great Danes to Fancy rats. I have training experience as well with things such as potty training, walking etiquette, and a few show tricks. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. Being a puppy Mom of a 13 year old with heart conditions, I was extremely nervous to leave the state with Blitz at someone else’s home. As soon as we met Nikki we knew he was in good hands. She welcomed him with open arms and didn’t not get overwhelmed with his social dietary needs and medications. About: I have always been an animal lover, growing up in the countryside with an array of horses, goats, dogs and cats. I currently have two labradors (one is an *angel* and can calm even the most Nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced-in area, wooded trails for curious noses and a food dehydrator for the occasional, chewy treat (with permission). For sure you can expect that your pup will be treated as one of our own with play, snuggles and comfy places to sleep. I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.

About: I have taken care of and interacted with many breeds and mixes of dogs, both my own and friends. Have taken care of multiple of cats and even interacted and helped care for several family ferrets. I currently work 3 overnights at a local hospital and am looking to spend some of my free time helping and interacting with local pets and pet parents in need of services, during the afternoons or nights on thur, fri, sat and Sundays. Ever met that person who just randomly pulls over on the street to say hi to your pup? THAT'S ME! I work full time in the healthcare field, but can often modify my schedule. I routinely travel between Oakland and Gardiner ME for work, so traveling is not an issue. I like to be on the go! I also work part time with Animal Control in Sidney. Due to my other commitments, I do require that all of my furry clients be able to be left alone for at least 8 hours. I think if you give me the chance, your little one won't want to go anywhere else. I also know how to clip nails, and I have a brush to groom as well so they'll definitely feel plenty of love.

About: I have experience with puppies, training, dogs with anxiety, geriatric dogs and more. I also have experience with complex health needs and care in dogs. I work from home as a travel agent. I realized one of the biggest concerns for travelers was their dogs and the thought of having to use kennel services. Since I have the ability to be with the dogs all day it made sense to offer my home and a family setting. Our dog Sweety sleeps with us at night and so do our guest dogs. Unless that isn’t happening at home. The dogs we care for are like family during their visit. We live in a very private setting. While we don’t have fencing, we do have a large private yard on a private dirt road. We live on 5 acres.

We have all verious types of toys including puzzle games, snuffle mats and for the heavu chewers, kongs, antlers, and bully sticks. We live away from the hectic lifestyle that most have and love it that way. I do occasionally take on a couple of families pets at the same time but do keep the pets seperated for safety purposes. If you feel youre dogs would be happier being the only visitors, let me know and we can almost always figure something out. I have a large area for dogs to run and play by themselves if they prefer or can spend time with our two friendly dogs who love to play even more.I offer crates if needed. But typically allow them run of the house and let them sleep where they are comfortable. Pets are more than welcome make themselves comfortable on the furniture or bed. Medications or speciality diets are no issue. Im always willing to discuss accommodations. Message me and we will see what will work to best make your pets the most comfortable.

About: I’ve been taking care of pets since I was a little kid and helped my parents at my uncle’s farm. I truly love all animals and enjoy their individual personalities. I have experience dog/house sitting dating back to 2000 in the Camden area. Since we moved three years ago, I’m looking to meet new clients and help you with your furry loved one in the Waterville area. I worked in animal hospitals in my early 20s so I have a great wealth of knowledge to draw from in many areas (but not exotic pets, as none of the veterinarians I worked with were specialtists.) Currently, I'm available for sitting, dog walking, and drop in visits. I am not working outside of my home right now, so I'm quite flexible for scheduling. Any pet I take care of is treated as if they’re a member of the family. I believe in spoiling pets with love, but keeping the boundaries of the owner so as not to undo any training. Relaxing time away can only happen if you can trust that your pets are loved and taken care of almost as good as you😊 I have had a variety of pets my entire life. Friends, neighbors and family have trusted me to take excellent care of their pets. I have gone to their home, they have come to my home and I have visited just to walk them. I love all animals and have learned over the years how to recognize their individual needs. We have a quiet space with lots of grass and woods for playing. My groomer told me there is a need for pet care and I want more pets in my life, so this is perfect for me. About: Highlight: I am experienced with aggressive and reactive animals! I have had animals in my home and life as long as I can remember. I have cared for countless dogs, cats, and small animals. At one point in my life I had seven dogs and a number of other pets. I have been providing independent pet care since late 2015. Animal care and rescue is my greatest passion. I am skilled at handling dogs and other animals of all ages, sizes, and temperments. I have worked with aggressive and reactive dogs and have experience deescalating conflicts when they arise. Sunday bookings are restricted to things that *must* occur on that day in order for me to try to have some level of work life balance. I take utmost care to keep animals in my care safe and properly contained. I make sure to follow whatever rules and structures are in place for the animals to ensure their safety. Pets are always leashed inside before heading for a walk and the leash isn't unclipped until we are back inside with a closed door. I am vigilant in looking out for potential risks (e.g. other animals, cars, unsafe things they could eat, etc) and making sure to give them a wide berth. In my own home I have any small animals carefully segregated into rooms that predator animals don't go into. Anytime I leave the room, I do a check and verify that all predators are outside the door so nobody can get hurt. I monitor the dogs around the cats to make sure all interactions are safe. I have utlized crates and baby gates when necessary to keep animals safely contained and/or separated in the past. I am skilled at containing flight risk animals and watching out for their safety. I am also fully insured and bonded through Pet Sitters Associates (PSA).

About: I have always been an animal lover, growing up in the countryside with an array of horses, goats, dogs and cats. I currently have two labradors (one is an *angel* and can calm even the most Nervous Nellies, and the other just wants you to throw the dang ball!). I have a large fenced-in area, wooded trails for curious noses and a food dehydrator for the occasional, chewy treat (with permission). For sure you can expect that your pup will be treated as one of our own with play, snuggles and comfy places to sleep. I have help from a trustworthy teen and, at present, incredible flexibility in my schedule. I am really excited to host your furry family members! I am currently at home full-time. Multiple fetch sessions and walks throughout the day are the norm. Walks are either on-site, or at a nearby field/preserve. I have two very friendly dogs who would love some company! They sleep wherever -- I do have a twin sized day bed in my room that they sometimes like, but a nervous boarder would be welcome to it:)

I've always had large dogs from mixed breeds to Great Danes, but love and appreciate all types of well mannered dogs. My house sits well off the road, so its quiet and I hike or trail walk almost daily. I am adept at giving medicine, cleaning wounds and dealing with incontinent dogs, but I will only board dogs who are respectful of my cats. I am currently working from home on my own schedule. Boarded dogs who enjoy car rides can come with me on errands or outings. While each day may different, my activities will be built around the needs of the animals I am caretaking, especially if separation anxiety is an issue. I will care for your animals as per your instructions and the capabilities of your pet. I do not have a fenced in yard, but have installed a run line in the past. If a dog is used to being crated, receiving treats, or sleeping on the couch - no problem. Conversely, I don't give animals people food, and if you want your pets to stay off furniture I will strictly honor that as well. My house is small but open, so it is easy to keep an eye on them.
