We went on a trip and she was there to walk Akira everyday, even having our family tag along and give them tips on walking. In 3 weeks Akira has become a completely different puppy on walks. He still has things to work on but walks are much easier and we understand better now to deal with issues (like when he sees other dogs or wants to eat a stick). About: I’m a dog mom of an eight year old golden retriever. I watch my friend’s pets often, sometimes for over to a week and can be counted on for reliable and quality pet care. I’m a substitute teacher so I make my own schedule. I would be happy to bring your pets back to my house to play with my dogs if the situation makes sense or to provide pet care at your home. My goal is to make pet parents feel comfortable knowing your pet is in good hands! My work hours as a substitute teacher are very flexible and allow for a wide-open schedule at my discretion. I am absolutely available for last minute changes in your life when you need someone to take care of your pets. I've taken care of animals of all types for years. As a previous volunteer for the HSSW, who has taken courses in animal behavior and veterinary science, I am extremely comfortable caring for animals of all types. Small or exotic pets, big or small dogs, cats, reactive or disabled animals- let's work together! I have experience with medication administration, so whether your pet needs pills, injections, or liquid medication, I'm here to help! My schedule is currently almost completely open. I'm available weekdays and weekends for all activities. As time goes on, my schedule may change, but you'll always be the first to know! For regular visits more than once a day, I can only provide services in a five mile radius. I make sure to follow your instructions exactly to make sure you can rest easy while your pet is being taken care of.
