“Repeat Customer!! Karen is always amazing with our dogs and making sure they feel at home and loved! Absolutely love being told about our dogs' personalities away from us! Every time, she is super understanding with travel times on picking up the dogs and will accommodate! We won't go to anyone else!! Our dogs are always happy and that's what matters to us and to Karen, which is important!”

“This was a great experience. Tina went out of her way for my dog, who isn't used to being away from me. She gave me lots of updates and even sent photos. I will definitely hire her again.”

“Kristol was very sweet and accommodating! Had a great backyard for Kobe to run around in and an equally energetic pint sized friend for him to play with! I received photos and updates regularly. Thank you so much for caring for my little guy over the weekend!”

“Audrey is absolutely the best person I could have found for our girl. She is thoughtful and loving and kept us informed of everything our girl was doing. I could not imagine a more safe, healthy and happy place for her to be.”

“Ashlyn was very attentive to my dog and very accommodating. My puppy felt comfortable with her. She has a fenced doggy park in her complex so it’s very safe. She updated me and was quickly responsive. I would definitely use her services again. My puppy is high energy and by the time I picked her up she was happy to see me and went straight to bed. I recommend Ashlyn since she’s on top of what your dog needs. Especially love and care.”

“Elya was by far the best dog sitter we’ve found on Rover. She was so intentional to spend time with our dog, taking her on walks and giving her a bath during her stay. It felt like we were dropping our dog off at a friends’ house rather than just a boarding place. Easily 5 stars!!!”

“Treven loved having other dogs to play with and Vanessa provided extra reassurance that things were going well throughout his stay. I hope he is able to stay with her and her family again.”

“Kailynn was a fantastic sitter for our little Havanese Hazel. She went above and beyond taking care of her and was flexible on the pickup time. It was so fun to receive the daily pictures!”

“Ezgi was AMAZING! She took in Bella at the last minute for a family emergency. I did not have time to prepare her food and she measured out perfectly each ingredient. Bella has a special diet and medication/ injection. She understood her medical needs and was highly knowledgeable about her condition and dietary requirements. She had no concerns on giving her the injections or medication. She followed the instructions perfectly. Honestly, Ezgi put me at ease with her knowledge and passion for dogs. She truly loves every dog that comes her way. She kept me posted with pictures and videos. Which put my mind at ease. Bella was treated as if she was a family member and not a customer. I could tell she treated Bella as if her own. So much so Bella was wanting to stay longer… lol She was recommended and seeing her reviews I knew she was the right one for Bella. Now I have a place that I can confidently bring Bella to when I need a sitter. Bella will be back and she will be starting daycare with Ezgi. I am so happy to have found such an Amazing sitter for my princess Bella”

About: Puppy care, special needs support, brain games, training, and exercise. Walks, bathing, agility playtime, brain games, specialized training and more! Keeping tails wagging and minds happy with love and attention. I believe every pet deserves love, fun, and focus because they’re family too! I’m available 24/7. I can work from home any time I need to which allows for stress free and anxiety free care for boarded furbabies. My work day ends at 2pm at the latest which allows plenty of time for training and play time. I have a large fully fenced in backyard. (6ft privacy fence) I also have large baby gates up to restrict access to the bathrooms and kitchen to maintain a fun and safe environment. I have 3 well established dogs and 1 cat. The cat has its own area where the dogs can’t access it. I have hardwood floors for easy mess cleanup as I know new environments sometimes create bathroom accidents due to separation anxiety at first. I have crates of all sizes if needed. I do allow animas on the furniture which I know some do not like. I can use a crate or dog bed if preferred for bedtime to avoid that so they have consistent care between their home and mine. My neighborhood is extremely low trafficked for safer walks and a dog park nearby.
About: I’m a dog (and cat!) mom looking for a fun way to keep myself accountable on my health journey! I’m a 41 year old mom to a teenage boy, a 9 year old yorkie mix (Severus), and 8 cats! I’ve been on a journey to better myself for the past year and one thing I make sure I do is get my steps in. I thought it would be a great idea to put myself out there to make some new dog friends and help keep me (and the doggos) getting our exercise in! I work full time from home Monday through Friday from 7am to 330pm. My walking availability is any time after my work day through the week, and open to anytime on the weekends. For sitting/drop ins, please inquire. For boarding, pets will be with me all day and night. I have 10+ years of experience caring for animals, my house is full of love, treats and toys! If you book me for services, you can be assured that same love will be given to your furry friend. Feeding schedules followed as provided by pet parent to ensure your pup is getting the required amount of food. My dog eats freely except when I’m boarding as to not disrupt any schedules. I currently have one dog (Severus), who is a yorkie mix and 10 total cats, some indoor/outdoor/mix. Our home gets hectic but we love our animals and can’t imagine life any differently.
“Ashle was awesome with our chocolate lab puppy! She made us feel super comfortable leaving him in her care, and it was clear he had a great time. She sent updates and photos, which we really appreciated, and our pup came home happy and tired (in the best way!). Would definitely book with her again—highly recommend!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and helped at the local vet clinic growing up. My last dog passed away from heart failure in 2022. It’s a busy time for my sons activities so it’s not a good time to bring a full time dog into our home at this time but would love to help others out. I work full time outside the home M-TH from 8-3 and half day Fridays (occasional Fridays totally free). I am willing to be flexible with week day stays if they can manage being alone during those hours. Our yard is unfenced but I would walk or chain them out depending on owner preference. They would be treated like they were my own.
“Haley was awesome! Everything listed on her profile is accurate. Our Bailey had a great stay with Haley and her pups. Bailey was there less than 24 hours, but Haley sent us several pictures of her and provided an update of how the stay was going. I would absolutely recommend her and look forward to booking with her again!!”

“Katherine did an amazing job taking care of our two French bulldog boys for a week. Im a worrier and one of those crazy frenchie moms and she made it possible for me to rest and relax for a week knowing that they were well taken care of. She sent lots of pictures and videos and they had the best week. If you are nervous about using Rover, choose Katherine. She will love your fur babies!”

Cassandra was an amazing caretaker for our crazy Corgi! She treated Livi as her own and was super accommodating to our schedule and needs. We appreciated the frequent updates and photos while we were out of town. Livi had a great time playing with Cassandra's other pups and can't wait to go back!

You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your pet, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies. Cats may be required to have Feline Viral Rhinotracheitis and Rabies up to date.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Emergency support is available by phone or email in English 24/7. When an incident occurs, we recommend that sitters contact our Trust & Safety team immediately so that they can connect your sitter with a board-certified veterinarian or offer other resources to help.
If a sitter needs to cancel at the last minute, Rover’s reservation protection means our team will work with you to find a suitable replacement as quickly as possible.
