“Nicole was wonderful taking care of my greyhound, Buttercup. There was excellent communication before and during the visit and as someone like myself that hasn’t taken a dog for daycare, I was so happy how easy it was with your service. My dog loved Nicole and I would highly recommend her.”
“Kristol was the perfect dog sitter. Very warm and welcoming to us and our fur babies. My dog had never been to a dog sitter before, but everything was perfect. My dog felt very comfortable there and did great. Kristol sent several photos, which made me feel better. I would use Kristol's service anytime I could. Recommend her highly.”

About: Hi! I’m a stay-at-home mom with a lifelong passion for animals and a dream of growing my own pet care business. I’ve had animals my entire life and have years of hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, personalities, and needs. I also have experience administering medications and caring for special-needs pets, so your fur baby will always be in safe and loving hands. My home is perfect for active, social dogs! I have high-energy pups of my own who absolutely love making new friends and playing with other animals. Because safety is my top priority, I only accept dogs that are friendly, social, and well-behaved around other dogs. Your pup will enjoy tons of supervised playtime on our fully fenced-in acre of land, including separate fenced areas for independent play and relaxation if needed. I believe every dog deserves love, attention, enrichment, and lots of fun while you’re away. I also offer free light grooming for overnight stays if requested, and I love making homemade pet treats for my furry guests! Animal rescue and helping pets in need has always been close to my heart, and I treat every dog like part of the family. I can’t wait to meet your best friend and give them a safe, loving, and fun home away from home I am a stay at home mommy so I have so much free time on hands to care for your babies ! I have a golden retriever that loves to play! I let all animals out as needed so works perfectly for your fur babies potty needs ! I’m available any time and any day I have multiple fenced in areas and a heated pet area in the garage to also bathe your babies in if needed! Your furry pets are welcome in my home during day and at night they will be put in my spare room to sleep safely at night

“Angel is very good with dogs, caring and empathetic to their needs. She was also friendly and helpful to us personally as out-of-towners. Hers is more of a boarding situation with a separate building and individual kennels with several dogs present. This was intimidating for both of our smaller dogs, especially our rescue, but they calmed after a bit. Angel did put them in a back kennel away from the other dogs which helped.”

About: Hi, I’m Amanda. I’m the owner of Unleashed Peaks, a full-time dog training and behavior coaching business built on calm communication, structure, and trust. Along with training, I also offer structured boarding and daycare in a peaceful, home-style environment where dogs can relax, play, and learn safely. Because I’m a trainer first, everything I do — from playgroups to potty breaks — is intentional. Dogs get enrichment, exercise, and clear routines that build confidence while keeping things fun and low-stress. I follow LIMA (Least Intrusive, Minimally Aversive) principles to make sure every dog feels safe, understood, and respected. I love working with all types of dogs, especially those who need a little extra support or structure while you’re away. Whether your pup is here for the day or a full board and train, they’ll be treated like family. Quirks, goofiness, and all. My goal is simple: for you to come home to a happy, relaxed, and well-adjusted dog who’s had a fulfilling stay and maybe learned a few new skills along the way. I’m home full-time and spend most of my day working with dogs through my business, Unleashed Peaks. Because training and structured care are what I do every day, your dog is never left unattended for long and always part of a calm, consistent routine. Drop-offs and pick-ups are flexible - mornings and early afternoons usually work best, but I’m happy to coordinate around your schedule. Whether your pup is here for daycare or boarding, they’ll get a balance of play, enrichment, rest, and individualized attention throughout the day. Dogs in my care stay in a calm, structured, and enrichment-based environment that helps them feel secure and relaxed. My home is designed with safety in mind, with separate rest areas, and consistent supervision. We have 5 acres of land. Our fence is in progress right now but we have never had an issue! As a full-time trainer, I understand canine body language and group dynamics deeply. I make sure each dog’s play, rest, and social time match their comfort level. New dogs are introduced slowly and respectfully so they can settle in at their own pace. I keep routines predictable and communication clear so dogs always know what to expect. Whether they are here for a day or an extended stay, every dog is treated like family: safe, understood, and cared for.
About: I have spent a lifetime caring for my own pets as well as rescuing animals. I think pets are an extremely important part of my livelihood and good mental health so I understand that your pet is an integral part of your family as well. I also understand that I am a guest in your pets home and will treat your home with the utmost respect and privacy. I am a mom, a wife and an Air Force veteran and I understand that schedules change due to work, family needs, and sickness. Being a stay at home mom with school age children allows me to be flexible and reliable. I also received my OH-EMT Intermediate medic training at WPAFB while serving in the military. I am very comfortable administering medications and any treatments. As of 2023 I also obtained my Instructor Animal CPR and First Aide Instructor Certification. I am a full time pet care specialist/trainer. I specialize with dogs that have anxiety disorders that can show themselves as aggressive behaviors which I believe are actually unmet needs. Starting April 4, 2024 we begin construction on a fenced in yard so we can provide day training/daycare while you are at work and boarding!

About: Hi there, my name is Kristen and I have a slight dog obsession. November 2025 started year five of me owning and operating a pet care company that is listed as an LLC in Ohio, and I have loved every single second of it! While on a walk your dog will be my sole focus. I will be sure to select a different route (if possible) during each walk to help them get familiar with their area, but to also help stimulate their brain with the different scents. If you have multiple dogs that need to be walked separately, for any reason, I will rotate my routes so that each dog is exploring a different area instead of where their fur sibling just was. I am happy to go as fast paced, or as leisurely as Fido wants to take our time together. My typical drop-in (play date) visit consists of the following: enter and greet your beloved furkid who will be totally excited to see me (hello treats!- only if it's okay with you first), and then take them outside to potty. While outside I am happy to play fetch, or any other activity they're interested in. Once we come back in I check the water/food situation, and am happy to take care of any medical needs that may be required at this time from giving pills to injections. There's time for a snuggle, or a game, and then it's one last potty break before I head out for the morning or afternoon. I send detailed Rover cards after every visit, and will include as many photos as possible. For boarding and daycare we are located on 30 acres in Tipp City, with 6 private fully fenced dog parks to choose from. We have 10 kennels, and pups are kenneled during enrichment and overnight with an on-site team member who stays with them. Disney Channel + YouTube classical music plays while pups rest in their kennels between private park playtime and playgroup. You can find out more information by looking at Blockheads and Bows Pet Services LLC online! Dog walking/pet sitting is my passion and full time career. Even while having a steady schedule I have the flexibility that allows me to get to your VIP quickly while maintaining a high level of quality care for all of the animals I care for. From how your pets eat their meals, to sleeping arrangements I try to keep things as normal as possible for them. During my time with your pet they have my undivided attention.
“Ezgi was so wonderful! We traveled from WI to Ohio and Ezgi watched our pup for the day so we could attend a family retirement ceremony. She snuggled with Ozzie and made him comfortable while we were away.”

“Katherine was a lifesaver! Our flight got cancelled and we weren’t going to be able to pick up our dogs from the kennel on time because of that. Katherine was able to pick up our dogs for us, on the same day and with only a few hours’ notice, and dog sit them at her house until we made it back home. We are so thankful for her and how she helped our four-legged family!”

Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
