I am currently retired with my husband. We eschool our twin boys during the day. I can pop out to do pet care and have a flexible schedule. We do travel a lot during school breaks and in the summer. I am eager to help out with home visits or walks. I enjoy all kinds of pets and don't shy away from those who need special care. Typically I visit dogs in their homes three times per day at whatever schedule works best for the pet and me. Some may need more or less visits and I can be flexible. Both cats really loved her, including the one who is normally very reclusive and shy around new people! About: If there’s one thing I know, it’s pets. I’ve had cats and dogs my entire life, and helped friends foster possums and raccoons growing up. I currently have a 16 year old cattle dog lab mix, an 8 year old boston terrier, and a 3 year old bobtail cat. Raising a senior dog has taught me many things including oral med administration for animals, as well as how to handle general health ailments and emergencies that naturally come as dogs age. I work from home and have a fenced in yard. My animals have free rein of the home, and furniture. Working from home allows me to cater to any dogs schedule. The front half of my yard has a puppy picket fence so that small dogs can not get out, the back yard has a normal picket, but is six feet so that bigger dogs can roam comfortably without being able to easily jump over it. I am able to cater to dogs that need to be crated as well as animals that roam. I’ve used rover as a pet parent for years, so I understand what it can be like to leave your pet with someone new. About: I've taken care of dogs and house sat for many families since I was 14. I have taken courses to become a certified vet tech but I had a baby and life changed. I have worked in a vets office as a receptionist as well. We did much more than answering phones and making appointments. I would try and spend as much time as I could with the dogs we boarded there. I know how to cut and buffer nails and I love to bathe dogs! I can't cut I don't trust myself with a pair of sisssors! I can administer vaccinations and give medication oraly without harming the dog. I am a stay at home mom. I have a 1 year old and I am expecting in December for my 2nd. I also have 2 great dane puppies who are sisters! I trained them to do the basic commands and it took them less then 2 weeks to get potty training down. Taking care of them is work in itself on top of a 1 year old and being 7 months pregnant! I am very patient and understanding with dogs and their owners. I am willing to work with whatever daily routine the owner wants me to work with.

About: I’ve owned dogs since i was 7 and I was often involved in the care for and walking of them. I always enjoy taking long walks with my dogs and love meeting new dogs! I’ve also lived with roommates who had their own pets and have plenty of experience caring for other peoples animals. -I use to work/volunteer at an animal shelter when I was in college for a year so I have a experience working one on one and with groups of animals -Friends and family always remark on how well I get along with animals and how much I absolutely love them more than humans -I am very cooperative/receptive with your pets needs and your wishes! It’s your pet so you’ll know more than me what they need when it comes to their care. Trust me as a fellow pet owner I know! -I’m always happy to answer questions before you’d like to use me so ask away! I work a full time job Monday through Friday, sometimes weekends, and on 3rd shift hours so my availability will be unfortunately restricted to morning hours, however I will try my best to be as available as possible! Sometimes I can work outside my posted availability but no promises, feel free to ask! I do special promotions and discounts as well, ask away! I’ll treat your pet as I would treat my pets. About: I’ve cared for dogs of all ages and sizes - I grew up with Labs and took on dog sitting when I was 18. Now 23, I have 3 dogs of my own and care for them like they’re my children. I have experience with dogs from Labs to Corgis to Huskys - I also have experience in training my own dogs with a local program, so I am well versed in being a responsible care taker. My schedule is very flexible, I am in school for healthcare management and my classes are online. About: All my life I've been interested in animals. I grew up with a dog, a cat, and a snake, and my work in the field has involved all sorts of animal husbandry, from shearing sheep to catching alligators or banding songbirds. About: I've never not known having a pet! My parents got my first dog 2 days after I was born, and just like in The Secret Life of Pets, we were inseparable! Since then, I have owned several types of species of animals, and ever since I became a dad, my love for animals has grown.
