About: Hi! I’ve been around animals my whole life. My mom is a biologist so she taught me from a very young age how every living thing has a soul and a place in this world. She would pick up mice and spiders that got into our home with her hands and take them outside (instead of killing them). Needless to say, I am very comfortable around animals. I’ve had dogs and cats as pets my whole life and I consider myself pretty good with them, even when meeting stray cats or other people’s dogs in the street; I am very patient with them and always let them feel confident with me before I pet them. I have never house-sat for dogs before but I have taken care of roommate’s and friend’s dogs while they are at work or out of town, feeding them, and taking them for walks, etc. I have house-sat for my mom’s cat before (at the end of 2021, actually, for her birthday) which you can read about in my testimonials. Full-disclosure – I’m currently looking for a part-time job so I have plenty of time to play with your pups! I have a car so I can drive over to you, just let me know what your daily and weekly needs are so we can figure out a schedule :) I’m currently not allowed to have any fur babies at my apartment so I will give your pups all the attention and play-time they want. Like I said above, I’ll let them get comfortable with me at their own pace but, of course, take care of their basic needs like food, water, and walks. Just let me know how they do with other dogs on the street and with other humans – if they’re shy, really energetic, etc.

“Migle is awesome!! Huck immediately loved her from their first meeting. Sent photos of huck before, during, and after the walk which was very much appreciated. Will be booking again!”

“Victoria went above and beyond for us! When the code we set up on our electronic door lock didn't work, she let us know and made a second trip to take care of our boys when we were finally able to get a new code for her (so she could get inside). 11/10 would recommend Victoria!!!”

“Great job. Thanks!”

About: Howdy! I’ve been caring for various neighbors’ pets since I was a pre-teen. Absolutely adore dogs and their unique ability to connect with humans. I used to sit for various dogs in Los Angeles but now live in New Orleans as a librarian. Looking to walk dogs in spare time or pet sit as applicable! Let’s connect! :) I work full time Monday-Thursday and alternate between having Fridays and Saturdays off. Usually off by 5pm when working. Always have Sundays off. Schedule is flexible. Pet-free apartment nearby parks and good dog-walking residential neighborhoods. Love walking and ensuring the dog has enough outdoor time and opportunities to use the bathroom.

“Meredith was able to work my pup in for a couple of walks on very short notice. She kept me up to date on all of her walks. She was extremely easy to communicate with and would recommend her to anyone!”

“Robin is super responsive, consistent and on time, and even our stranger-danger aussiedoodle loves her and is always happy to see her for midday walks!”

“Hana did a great job walking my two high-energy dogs. She is very patient and kind with my dogs. As soon as they saw her they went nuts! They come home happy and sleepy!”

“Thank you Ashley!”

“Alexis is the best! Was super attentive and loved on my pup while I was gone to make sure she was let out throughout the day. She gave me updates and kept Miss Mae entertained (and exhausted--a plus). Could not recommend Alexis more!! Will be booking with her again :)”

“Deana was fantastic. She showed up on time, had a bubbly and friendly personality, was very communicative and efficient and warm with the pups. One of my dogs is really smart and judgmental and she immediately rolled on her back for pets and scratches and wagged her tail as soon as Deana walked up (and was a total stranger to her). I highly recommend her and we will use her again!”

“I am super picky & discerning, & I believe Cody did a great job. Cody is super friendly & has great energy. I would definitely choose Cody again!”

“Great experience with Margarida. She was very attentive and kept me up to date when taking my pup out on walks. Will definitely come back for future assistance!”

About: I am grew up in family with many pets. My family breed basset hounds for a few years. As an adult, I've always owned dogs of various breeds, including some adopted from a shelter. One sweet dog my daughters and I adopted after it was hit by a car. Dogs have always been a part of my family. I have been a pet sitter for friends and family. I am trustworthy, reliable, and responsible. I have always enjoyed walking and playing with dogs. I walk my dogs in Audubon park often. I would take excellent care of your dog. I would make sure all their needs are met. I am available in the early morning, afternoon, and evening both weekdays and weekends. I look forward to caring for your dog.

About: Although I own 2 cats now, I grew up with dogs (large and small) and look forward to any opportunity to walk/run/play with any dogs who may need some outside time or owners that need some quiet time. I work part time and have plenty of morning or evening hours to watch or walk any dogs that need quiet company, play time, or to let off some energy. I have 2 elderly, cats at home, but am willing to come to your home or work to watch your animals. Would love for them to feel safe in their own environment.

“I cannot say enough good! Christopher has helped me so much with my new rescue. As a traveling nurse who works long, impossible hours he has helped me transition my dog into his new life. It has been such a relief to know my dog is in such trusting and capable hands!”

About: I truly love getting to know each pet’s unique personality! I’ve cared for my sweet senior dog, Pip, who needed extra TLC, an adorably picky Shih Tzu, and Louise, a high-energy Lab who never runs out of zoomies. I’m all about matching their vibe—long walks and playtime for the energetic pups, cozy snuggles for the laid-back ones, and making sure even the most particular pets feel safe and happy. I’ve also lived with cats who want to cuddle 24/7 and others who are nonstop players, so I’m ready for whatever mood they’re in. My goal is to make every pet feel right at home! I am currently enrolled at Tulane, but I have an open summer to spend lots of time with your furry friend! When school starts, I will be a bit busier but I will have lots of time in the mornings, evenings and weekends to hang out with pets. When caring for pets in their own home, I focus on keeping them happy, comfortable, and relaxed in their familiar space. For cats, I follow their usual routines for feeding, playtime, and litter box cleaning, with plenty of patience for shy or special-needs cats like my own three-legged kitty, Sully. I love adapting to each cat’s personality—whether they want constant play, cozy snuggles, or just quiet company. For dogs, I make sure to keep up with their normal schedule for walks, meals, play, and potty breaks. I’m experienced with a wide range of dogs—from senior pups who need extra gentle care to high-energy dogs who love long walks and active play. I always focus on making them feel safe, loved, and entertained while you’re away. And of course, I know how important peace of mind is for you! I’ll send lots of photos and updates during each visit so you always know how your furry friend is doing.

About: I have walked my friend's dog when they are not home for many times, even boarding them at my apartment. I have own cat for 3 years, caring for his nails cutting, claw shaving, flea treating, ear mite cleaning, bathing and so on. I work from home now, so I'm available for taking care of them. It is for me to walk out the apartment twice a day. I have a fenced yard and free home to take care your pet, the street is very pet friendly nearby. I have a cat can be your pet's accompany.

“I have used Wendy to walk my dogs for me for years! She is very loving and caring with my dogs and they are litter mates AND catahoula hounds and can be quite a handful. She is so good with them that sometimes I think they look more forward to seeing her come walk them than their own parents ?. I would highly recommend her for any one looking for a reliable caring Dog walker!”

“Amanda has an extensive amount of experience with animals. She grew up in a house of dogs that were active breeds, and cared for them regularly. She's responsible and caring, and truly is an animal lover!”
