“Cody went above and beyond caring for my rabbit. She sent many pictures twice a day during the drop in visits and it helped me feel at ease while being away on a 10 day trip. I sent her long instructions and she followed them perfectly. There are not many sitters I have trusted with my pets, but she genuinely cares for animals and is 100% reliable, safe, and respectful.”

“Joree and my dog got along great. She stayed with him for the weekend while I took a last-minute trip. She sent plenty of photos and updates, and I came home to a clean house and relaxed dog. I would be happy to work with Joree again.”

“Emily was absolutely amazing! She arrived on time, sent photos, asked questions when she noticed Charlee wasn't going potty as usual and communicated consistently and with details! Having just moved to the area, I was nervous with a new sitter, but after this first experience with Emily, I will definitely choose her as my first choice for furbaby care, and hope that she is available! Thank you, Emily!! :))”

“Danielle C was an outstanding pet and house sitter! I could not recommend her more. She communicated with me throughout her stay, sent amazing photos and clearly loved being with my dogs. I can’t wait to have her back :-)”

“Melissa took great care of our dog Luna while we were out of the country. Luna took to Melissa right away during our first meeting with her and we felt very comfortable leaving Luna in her care. Will definitely use Melissa’s help again in the future!”

“This was the first time leaving my pup alone, but Cheryl eased my mind every step of the way. Not only were my babies clearly well cared for, but she left our apartment in better shape than we’d left it. Highly recommended!! She definitely went above and beyond!!”

About: I've cared for dogs and cats my whole life, providing loving and reliable care. I treat every pet like family, ensuring they're safe, happy, and with full bellies. I have three cats of my own so I know how to manage different personalities and needs. I am currently working part time, so I have lots of free time to spare to take care of pets. My schedule is very flexible and I can be available to take care of any pet needs within only a few hours notice. I have pets of my own so I understand how reassuring it is to have a trustworthy person looking after them during a busy work week. In my own home, I ensure that each of my pets live a healthy and fulfilling life. They have regular nutritious meals along with plenty of exercise. I also tune into each of my pets unique personality and ensure they each get individual attention to make them feel loved. My pets are a part of my family and are treated as such. I offer dog walking, dog and cat sitting, feeding, and potty breaks. I do not offer boarding in my personal home or training.
About: Animals have been part of my life since before I can remember — one of my earliest memories is our Bernese Mountain Dog happily dragging me down the block. I've kept animals close ever since, so I've got real, hands-on experience with pets at every life stage, from housebreaking a new puppy to helping an arthritic senior get comfortable on the stairs. Friends have been handing me their dogs for years too — weekend trips, last-minute favors — so caring for someone else's pet like my own isn't new territory for me. I offer dog walks, drop-in visits, and house sitting, and however we're spending time together, my goal is the same: keep your pet's routine as close to normal as possible. Animals feel safest when their world doesn't change while you're away — same walk times, same feeding schedule, same bedtime ritual — so I take the time to learn what "normal" looks like for yours specifically. These days I share my home with two rescue cats — Cucumber, an 8-lb grumpy old man who insists on being called "a good boy," and Daisy, his partner in running the household — and Jeffrey, a sweet Blue Heeler mix with plenty of opinions to bark about. Expect photo and video updates throughout our time together, plus extra playtime worked in whenever your pet's up for it. Every animal is different, and I take the time to read their cues and meet them where they're at. Some want a full-on wrestling match, others just want quiet company. There's no better feeling than when an animal decides you're good people. I work freelance, so my schedule stays pretty flexible — mornings, afternoons, evenings, weekends, whatever your pet needs. That flexibility means reliable, consistent care for daily walks, drop-ins, or overnight house sitting, whenever the timing works best for you. Most of my care happens in your home — dog walks, drop-in visits, and overnight house sitting — so I start by learning your routines, entry points, and house rules. I stick to feeding and walk schedules exactly as given, double-check that doors and gates are secure every time I come and go, and stay alert for anything that could be a hazard.
“We love Carly! She is a great communicator. Is extra attentive and loving with our pets. She sent sweet photos and messages while we were gone. She is responsible and thoughtful and our pets love her!”

“Ebony did such a great job with our dogs! She was super easy to communicate with, sent pictures of the pups multiple times a day, and followed all the instructions we left. Ebony also took great care of my less people friendly dog and ended up earning her trust by the end of her stay. We will definitely be booking Ebony again and we highly recommend that you book her as well!”

“Jared was great while housesitting and watching my cats! He is kind, responsive, and trustworthy. I came home to a clean house and happy kitties :) would definitely use him again for my next trip!”

“Ian did an absolutely wonderful job looking after my dog and cat. He sent pics and updates everyday! It really put my mind at ease to have updates like that. I will definitely be rebooking him again!”

“Alex did a wonderful job of caring for our animals, with great communication over the whole time. She is very caring and enthusiastic about animals. We would definitely hire Alex again.”

About: Hi all ! I run a online boutique from my home , which gives me the flexibility to spend time giving fur babies all the love and attention they need and deserve! I have had dogs my whole life and I’m not sure I could ever be without one ! I currently have 2 of the sweetest Yorkies in the world ( they are my fur babies) . We enjoy playing in the backyard, long walks in our beautiful neighborhood and belly rubs . Throughout the years I have also fostered many dogs young and old and understanding the special needs of puppies as well as dogs in the “ golden years “ . I understand having worked full time away from home the need of peace of mind for your fur baby while your away ! Please be assured I will care for them as I would my own .
About: Hi! When I’m not traveling for work, I work from home and love using my breaks to get outside and get my steps in — and I’d love to have a four-legged walking buddy join me! While I don’t have a dog of my own (just one sassy cat for now!), I’ve been around animals my entire life and regularly help care for friends’ and family members’ dogs. I’ve also house-sat and cared for dogs in their own homes while their owners are out of town, so I understand how important it is to keep pets comfortable, happy, and as close to their normal routine as possible. I genuinely enjoy dog walking and love knowing I’m giving a dog the exercise, attention, and outdoor time they need. I’m comfortable with different personalities and temperaments and pay close attention to a dog’s body language and boundaries. I never force an interaction and know when to give a dog space, redirect their attention, or step in when needed. Because I work from home, I’m especially interested in daytime walks and drop-ins, as well as house sitting. Whether your pet needs a long walk, a potty break, meals, playtime, or simply some company while you’re away, I’d love to help! My goal is to make your pet feel safe and cared for — and give you peace of mind knowing they’re in attentive, reliable hands. When I’m not traveling for work, I work from home and have a flexible daytime schedule. I love taking breaks throughout the day to get outside, so dog walks and drop-ins fit naturally into my routine. I’m also available for house sitting and can work remotely from your home when my schedule allows. My boyfriend, Christian, is also an animal lover and may be available to help, giving us added flexibility with walks, playtime, and keeping your pets company. I’ll treat your pets, home, and routine with the same care I’d want someone to give my own. I follow feeding schedules, walking instructions, medications, household rules, and any special requests closely. I pay attention to body language and boundaries and adjust my approach to each pet’s personality. For house sitting, I’ll keep you updated with photos and check-ins so you always know how things are going. If Christian will be joining or helping with your pet’s care, I’ll always discuss that with you beforehand.

About: I have volunteered for Zeus's Rescues walking dogs for three years. I previously owned two shetland sheepdogs for several years! There is nothing, absolutely nothing, in this world that is better than spoiling a dog or having extended playtime with a dog or pet. I am always reachable, overly communicative, and reliable in an emergency. My schedule is very open right now and I expect to be working only part time soon. I look forward to communicating with you and your pet about your schedule and your needs. I am offering dog walking, drop in visits for your pet, and house sitting at this time. I am comfortable with and proficient at: measuring and feeding the proper amount of food, making sure your pets are hydrated, administering the right amount of medication, playing with your pet, tiring out your pet, reducing your pet's stress, giving love and affection to your pet, taking care of your home while you're away, (I'm a homeowner myself,) and taking your pet to the vet in the event of an emergency.
About: I grew up in a house, and with a mother, who always had a furry friend running around. I enjoyed this so much that I started a pet sitting company when I was 10. I cared for all types of animals (dogs, cats, and rabbits). Although my 10 year old company did not continue until today, my love for animals does. I’ve fostered and watched animals and am hoping to continue to work with whatever pets and furry friends you have in your home. As a middle school teacher, the summer break strongly contrasts the school year. During the summer I am free at almost all hours of the day and am more than willing to work with you at a convenient time for both you and your pet. I am comfortable walking and crating your pet. I’m also happy to take your pet out whether it’s in the yard or along the streets and sidewalks nearby. I also have a car and am happy to take any dogs to the dog park (as long as they don’t mind a car ride).
The median cost per night for house sitting in Uptown is $45

Carly did a wonderful job with our pup while we were traveling. She is a proactive communicator and sent lots of great pics throughout our trip. It was great to trust that our pet and home were in good hands. We highly recommend Carly and will definitely be repeat customers.

Cody was so awesome with our two boys while we were away! They were super communicative and sent lots of updates/photos. Our two cats are very different personality-wise and Cody was amazing with both of them and catered to their individual needs. They also left our place super clean! 10/10 would recommend and we’ll definitely be booking again for our next trip!

Vacations are that much better knowing our furry family members and home are in great hands with Joel! With multiple senior pets with medical needs and special care instructions, it can be tricky to find pet sitters we trust but we’re thankful to be repeat bookers with Joel, and we’ll happily reach out to him for future stays!
Lily did a wonderful job with my senior, partially deaf, dog, and guinea pig. My dog can be challenging as he can be a bit standoffish, but she got him to warm up. Also, he only gets pain medication when necessary, so it was up to her observation and judgment. My guinea pig requires daily cage cleaning and feeding, in addition to handling my dog's needs.

Jessica was incredible and took great care of Roco. It was our first time using Rover and first time we would be leaving our dog at hope for someone to come by and do drop in visits — Jessica was so helpful in navigating the booking and really took such great care of our quirky little pup. Would recommend her to anyone and will definitely be returning.

E was the perfect sitter for our young pup's first overnights without owners. Communicative, attentive to our dog, and navigated our nervousness with ease and confidence. In addition to providing wonderful care for our dog, they left our home in immaculate condition which was greatly appreciated, too. Working with E is great and highly recommended!

Adam has taken care of our beloved cat, Gonzi and stayed at our home many times over the last several years. Once again, they were a wonderful carer and sitter. It was a delight to return home to a very happy cat and a well cared for home. We highly recommend Adam to others. Thank you once again, Adam!

Emily was absolutely amazing! :))

Anika was ABSOLUTELY amazing. She gave plenty of updates on our girl, i had zero worries about if nova was okay or not bc she loved her girl Anika, they became fast friends! Anika went above and beyond for us and i can’t thank her enough! I actually can’t recommend her enough to anyone who needs their fur babies taken care of! we will definitely rebook with Anika next time we need a sitter!! 10/10 no notes!! We love her!!

Mike has been a excellent communicator with me and my husband since day 1. They stayed with our 2 cats who are a little high maintenance while we were away and we came home the place looking great and 2 very happy cats :) highly recommend!! Thank you Mike! Will definitely be booking with them again.

Cole did a great job pet sitting for our two pups. One is very high energy, which was no trouble for Cole. The other is diabetic and needs insulin. Cole didn't have previous injection experience but was willing to learn and up to the task. We came home to two happy and healthy dogs and would definitely use Cole again.
