About: Foster dog mom and dog sitter. Recently lost my beagle and miss pup time. I treat my friend’s dogs like my own and they actually encouraged me to start a profile. I like walking and don’t mind slow sniffers. I’m aware of squirrels and cats in my neighborhood and avoid them when necessary. I work full time but have availability evenings and weekends. Looking forward to long walks, tails wagging while sniffing and again meeting daily step goals. I have a small backyard and shotgun house which I own. I can crate if necessary but if your fur baby is trustworthy, I’m happy to let him or her free range guard my house during the day. The window facing the street is typically pretty entertaining. I got rid of my dog camera when Maggie passed away but may set an iPad up, again. Meet n Greets prior to a stay is a must, my foster dog is dog-shy at first but loves people.

“Hannah was great! My cats are a little rambunctious and like to spend the day outside and are sometimes a bit difficult to find when it comes time to come home. Hannah traversed blocks and bushes to track these little guys down to make sure they spent the night safe and sound at home! She sent lots of pictures and updates. I would definitely hire her again!”

“Hana sent lots of pictures during her check-ins with Ollie. She was super kind and spent lots of time giving him affection. He was well cared for during my trip and I’d definitely recommend Hana.”

“Margarida was wonderful and very communicative when caring for my cat Sophie. I felt confident and assured with Sophie’s well being the entire time. I highly recommend her!”

About: I don’t just “check in” on cats—I genuinely care for them like they’re my own. I understand feline behavior and body language, so shy, senior, or anxious cats get patient, stress-free care at their pace Pet care is a central part of my daily routine, not something I squeeze in between other commitments. I plan my days around visits, feedings, playtime, and check-ins to make sure each cat gets consistent, unhurried care I provide care in your home whenever possible so your cat can stay in a familiar, low-stress environment. During each visit, I follow your cat’s normal routine for feeding, fresh water, litter box cleaning, playtime, and affection (always on their terms). I take time to observe behavior, appetite, and litter habits so I can quickly notice anything out of the ordinary.
“On behalf of our 3 Burmese boys, we couldn’t have asked for a better partner to feed, play with and care for Miles, Monk and Mingus. Ashley provided at least daily updates via text and pictures showing how happy the boys were with her attention. I can highly recommend her services to the Rover community without reservation! Thanks Ashley. Well done and see you again soon. Kathryn & Tim”

About: I’ve cared for and grown up around more animals than I can count. I love showing fur babies the love they deserve and there’s nothing more rewarding than receiving it back in return. I believe animals can truly be medicinal and can better a person’s mood and outlook on life. They are our best friends and we are their lives. Flexible availability; I can provide dog walks, grooming, feeding, daytime & overnight sitting, cuddles, and even just a pop-in. I’m free mornings, day, and night and open to ongoing long-term schedules if things happen to work out that way. I have a big fenced in backyard, but most of my time with pups is spent on hikes or long walks outdoors. I do have a medium sized, super friendly husky, if your pupper feels uncomfortable around other dogs though, my husky baby loves spending time at my sister’s house and would be happy to accompany her while I care for your fur baby. I’m extremely active but can also just hang out and offer an easy-going light day or night with your pet.

About: I’m happy to sit or check in on your fur baby. I currently help with my boyfriend’s rescue cat and have pet sit for friends in the past. I can do medicines, special diets, whatever you need.

“Wendy took such great care of my puppy. As a new pet owner, Wendy put my mind at ease and made sure I was comfortable and that Daisy felt safe and had a great time. I loved the updates and could tell Daisy didn’t miss me at all because she was having so much fun. We’ll definitely be back!”

“Katherine and Ethan were extremely responsive, kind, and flexible when we left our Siberian Husky, Charlie, with them for doggie daycare. Their dogs, Gus and Brady, wore Charlie out, and Charlie is psyched to spend more time with all of them.”

“I felt so comfortable leaving Pip with Cheyenne in her home. I could see he immediately took to her and it was a great fit. She walked and played with him and also provided a calm environment for him while I was away. I am so happy to be able to rely on Cheyenne when I need help with Pip!”

About: I’ve had dogs my whole life and they’ve always been my favorite kind of company. I’m patient and keep things calm and low-key. I only watch one dog at a time, so you can rest assured that I will treat your dog as if they were my own. Since I work remotely, your dog won’t be left alone much and will get attention throughout the day. I make sure to follow whatever routine helps your dog feel most comfortable. Happy to send you photos and updates throughout the day as well. I’m flexible with pickup and drop off times. I will be with your pup all day, and they’ll get plenty of attention throughout the day. I’m happy to adapt to your pet’s routine. If they’re a high energy dog, they’ll get long walks. If they’re a senior or low energy, I’ll take them on shorter walks or just let them sniff in the yard.
“She was great! My dog needed a sitter for the day and she had no problems at all Cheyanne sent update pictures, had friends to play with, and was super happy way dropping off and picking up! Will definitely be returning!”

“It can be hard to find sitters willing to help with challenging dogs, and I have a very sweet pup who, unfortunately, has some separation anxiety that means she can’t be left home alone at this point. Julia agreed to watch her for some daycare while my husband and I attended a family birthday party, and she also was great about setting up a Meet and Greet about a week beforehand so that Sable could be introduced to Julia and her own pups. Julia sent pictures and updates while we were away, and I appreciated her honesty when I asked how Sable did. It seems as though Sable was only mildly embarrassing and didn’t put Julia through too much hassle, so I’m very grateful to have someone trustworthy and kind to leave my pup with! Thank you so much!”

“We are so grateful we found Pauline! We were traveling through the New Orleans Area for Jazz fest and needed some day care for our dog Charlie. We’ve never used Rover before and were super apprehensive, but Pauline offered a meet and greet beforehand which made us feel so much better. Charlie loved staying with Pauline. She did such a great job taking care of him, he can’t wait to go back! Thank you Pauline for your thoughtfulness and dedication to our little guy, you made our day so much more enjoyable knowing he was safe with you!”

“Ms. Rachelle was the he sweetest. She kept me updated on Hershey and I even got a cute art keepsake. I got to meet her fur babies and the Hershey’s other new friends too. Ms. Rachelle is an absolute gem!”

“Winnie loved Emily. I was nervous with my pup being so young and tiny leaving her for daycare but EMILY made her feel right at home. This sweet lady has a heart of gold. ❤️ Winnie can’t wait hang out with her and sweet dogs again. :)”

“Oshie was able to take care of my Abby last minute and she was so pleasant. She took great care of my girl and if I’m ever in the area again, I will be reaching out!”

“Very happy! Will use Ashley again for my next trip to New Orleans! She updated me with pictures and made me feel more comfortable leaving Charlie for the day! Thank you so much!”

“Liz was a SUPER sitter for our girls! She had a few other dogs who she was also watching, which made me feel very comfortable - because that indicated others felt she was ALSO a great sitter! We will be re-booking her for tomorrow (Thanksgiving) - and will definitely keep her on our sitter list for when we travel to New Orleans.”

I’m calm, attentive, and reliable, and I focus on creating a safe, comfortable environment while keeping owners updated and at ease. I currently have a flexible schedule, which allows pet care to fit easily into my daily and weekly routine. My summer is free, thanks to being a student. I follow each pet’s routine closely, including feeding, walks, playtime, and any special instructions. About: I pet sit because I want to, not because I need to💜. I live on the trail and have a small yard! It’s a passion of mine to be around your pets. As the the oldest of 5 much younger siblings and a former professional nanny, I am a natural caregiver! Now, I am an independent hairstylist that works for myself, and as an animal lover, I have naturally become many of my clients trusted go-to pet sitter, especially for in house vacation pet sitting. I am highly trained as a former animal foster (including the bottle babies that require so much attention and responsibility) and as a professional care giver. I also grew up with non-traditional critters including, but not limited to, hedgehogs, salamanders, iguanas, guinea pigs, gerbils, etc. so I’m cool with whatever you throw at me! LGBTQ+ friendly!! I work for myself part time as a hairstylist. I make my own hours so it is very easy to not schedule on the days I am needed or to schedule large breaks in between. As a former nanny and elder millennial (lol) I am very responsible first! I always double check leashes, harnesses, doors, etc so you can leave your home feeling great with your guys in my hands. At my clients home, I very much like to follow their rules and instructions to the detail. I keep a photo and/or list of all instructions on my phone and a physical copy in my car. At my own home, I like to listen to what my clients feel comfortable with and follow that as discussed with them. I do like their pets to feel like I’m their loving grandma- they always get extra love and long walks when I come to see them!

“Lindsey went above and beyond to take care of Wells while I was out of town. She is a total rockstar. I cannot recommend Lindsey enough. Thank you so so much!!!”

“Daphne is an absolute lifesaver! She consistently goes above and beyond, and I couldn’t do my job or, these days, heal from COVID without her. I can’t praise her enough! My dog gets so excited to see her that he waits by the door, and when they get back he runs around in happy circles before passing out for a long, cozy nap.”

“Amanda was amazing and accommodating of my last minute booking. I could tell instantly she deeply cared about my older dog. A+ communication. Strongly recommend. Thanks again, Amanda!!!”

I’m reliable, communicative, and detail oriented, making sure your pet stays on their routine and feels comfortable at home. I provide updates, follow instructions closely, and prioritize your pet’s safety and well being at all times. I’m currently a nursing student working part time, but I have a flexible schedule and make time for pet care. With summer break coming up, I’ll have significantly more availability and flexibility throughout the week. I’m available for walks, drop ins, and house sitting. I can accommodate more daytime care during the summer. I’m reliable with scheduling and make sure your pet gets the time, attention, and consistency they need. I provide a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for every pet. I have experience caring for dogs and understand the importance of proper introductions, routines, and supervision. I will always follow your pet’s routine closely. In a client’s home, I’m respectful, attentive, and make sure your pet feels secure and cared for while you’re away.
“Deana was wonderful with Oggi. Had her for a week to help out while I worked & he loved her. Professional, on time, followed all instructions & attentive noticing when he got tired or the heat was a bit much for him. If you want someone who will care for your fur baby I recommend her”

“Victoria went above and beyond for us! When the code we set up on our electronic door lock didn't work, she let us know and made a second trip to take care of our boys when we were finally able to get a new code for her (so she could get inside). 11/10 would recommend Victoria!!!”

About: I've had dogs my entire life. My last pup, Pooka, died a few years ago after living around the world with me for 16 happy years. So I'm an empty nester looking to love on your pets until I'm ready to get one of my own again. I've cared for dogs of all sizes and personalities and even some special needs. I work from home in a sizable house on a flat topped mountain. I already take 1-2 walks during my workday to stretch my legs. Other than that, I'm a huge homebody. I’m currently living up on a mesa in the middle of nowhere. Plenty of room to run and chill. The space is not fenced so I can keep pups on leash, if needed.

“Robin is super responsive, consistent and on time, and even our stranger-danger aussiedoodle loves her and is always happy to see her for midday walks!”
“Hana did a great job walking my two high-energy dogs. She is very patient and kind with my dogs. As soon as they saw her they went nuts! They come home happy and sleepy!”

“Hannah responded within minutes to my emergency request to walk my dog after I injured my ankle in a fall. She was very accommodating, comfortable with my dog (as he was with her), fun, funny and reliable. FIVE HUNDRED STARS!!! Thank you very much.”

“Miranda was 100% reliable, friendly, and very accommodating to our schedule. She really helped us get through a tough time, and was great and gentle with our timid dog. 5 stars all around!”

“I love Jillian, and so did Calvin my big labrador boy. He was always in a great mood when I got home because she took him on such great walks, and gave him a little biscuit afterwards and filled his water bowl.”

“Danielle was GREAT with Lola and the peace of mind knowing she was out and about and returned home safely --all confirmed with photos and messages--was awesome. We will be calling Danielle in the very near future!”

About: When I was a child, I walked our dogs more that the rest of my family combined (a brother , sister, and parents). I had a coffee shop named after my Husky in Idaho (Cody's Cafe). To me, dogs play an extremely important role in our lives and I know how important your pet is; they are family. They also have their unique traits. My last dog was a very sweet pit bull mix that loved chasing squirrels and liked Cats. My current dog is a rescue Dane/Weimeraner Mix and is our world. He has been from Key West to the Alamo to Aspen and Taos and extremely sociable. I understand that every dog has its unique personality and I will learn as much as possible to make the experience a positive and rewarding one. Dogs need and demand attention and that reward works both ways. I am between jobs as my company suddenly closed with no notice so between jobs will be doing something I am passionate about, walking dogs. Pets safety is prime. When I walk dogs, they are my focus. If there are other dogs on the street, I am careful and understand that dog behavior can be unpredictable although I am very good at reading dog behavior. Some dogs may be fine 90% of the time, but that is too high an unknown to risk anyone's health. I want dogs to be comfortable on their walks but aware of dangers from cat poop to food that could jeapordize the dogs health.
About: Growing up with dogs, cats, and guinea pigs, I have a wide array of pet care experience for animal friends large and small. Frequent dogwalker and pet-sitter with extensive knowledge of care practices. I am a remote worker and student in my day-to-day life, so I can frequently care for pets in my off-time in between classes and while working at home. I will be open in my communication about any issues or special needs that pets will need and trust that clients will communicate any special needs to me.
About: I have been around pets and taking care of them my entire life. I have experience walking dogs, pet sitting, and dealing with medication schedules. I can adapt to different schedules and specific needs. I am a recent graduate of Loyola University. I work as a server, however there are plenty of gaps in my schedule for dog walking. My hours and length of walks are flexible. I am prepared to adapt to any pets environment and needs for care. I can stick to certain walking routes or routines. I am patient and understanding with pets and their needs.
About: As a retiree, I have adequate time to devote to 1 to 1 care for well-behaved, small to medium dogs and cats too. I prefer to give one on one care for your special pet in my cozy, smoke-free, fenced home. I am a nurse by profession, so administering most medications or therapies is not a problem. With adequate notice, I prefer to meet your pet beforehand in a complimentary visit/stay, to secure any anxieties. Complete comfort is my goal, so you can enjoy your travels knowing your pet is secure with me. I am available seven (7) days per week and am rarely gone more than 2-3 hours, so potty breaks or medication administration are always available for your pet. I have safely boarded loving pets of family and neighbors without incident. I have a fenced yard for their safety and leash walk in my uptown neighborhood, as permitted by weather and animal disposition.
“I can’t recommend Cody enough. She is a pet charmer. My 2 dogs and cat warmed to her quickly, she is an excellent communicator, and has a gentle presence. My one dog was nervous and hid before the first walk. Cody spent 30 min gently coaxing her out. After the first walk, all 3 of my animals were comfortable and happy. She sat with them after every walk for extra minutes and shared great pics with me. I will always check her availability first in the future”
