About: Hi, I’m Hanna! I’ve been caring for animals since I was a kid, starting with feeding my neighbor’s 17 koi fish every morning at age 8. I’ve had dogs my whole life, including a Jindo and a Corgi that I raised from six months old. Today, I live with two cats and a puppy (all adopted from Austin shelters), so I’m very familiar with different animal personalities and needs. I recently volunteered with the Austin Animal Center, where I helped care for cats and matched them with adopters. I’m comfortable handling pets that are shy, energetic, or just need a little extra love and attention. Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priority. I’m known for being reliable, calm, and detail-oriented. I’ll make sure your home stays secure and that your pets are happy and relaxed while you’re away. I will always treat your pets like my own, with lots of love and safety precautions! I am between jobs so I have all the time in the world to care for your babies. I am flexible based on your schedule. My cats are escape artists so I have become accustomed to making sure the house is always secure. I am always on the lookout for items that my cats may get that could cause them injury. I’m strict about safety in my own home when it comes to my pets, and you can expect the same for your place.

“Sarah was wonderful with my dog and also fantastic to work with! She is extremely responsive and reliable. Her communication is excellent (including lots of details and photos after each walk)! I will happily book her again!”

“Nicole went above and beyond to take care of my pup Georgia while I was away on vacation! From brushing her to bringing her new toys to keep her occupied she really exceeded expectations. Can't recommend her enough!”

“Heather was the first dog walker I've ever hired to walk my dog Molasses. In the beginning I was pretty nervous since I didn't know how Lass would do with someone else walking her and having a new person in my apartment while I was gone. Heather was great because she offered to do a meet and great before out 1st scheduled walk to make Lass and myself feel comfortable. I'm so grateful for this meet up! Lass loves Heather and their walks. Between the super cute photos I get and the love that my dog receives, I couldn't ask for a better walker!”

“This was my first time booking a service on rover and Juliette made sure everything went smoothly! She sent me tons of pictures and videos throughout the entire walk. She will now be my go-to for any future bookings I may have for my Raisin Cavapoo. Thank you so much again!”

About: Animal care is what I love to do! I graduated from UVM in 2022 with a degree in animal science and now work as a veterinary technician and pet sitter. Before my role as a vet tech, I had experience as a kennel technician and a veterinary assistant, working with both dogs and cats. I make sure all pets under my care receive timely feedings, medication, and exercise. Just as my own dog, Tommy, is entitled to my love and attention, your pet will receive that very same level of affection. For house sitting dogs during weekdays, I like to stay within a nearby radius so that I can let them out on my long lunches. While caring for your pet in your home, I will carefully follow your instructions to ensure that they feel safe and loved while you are away. Depending on your pet’s preferences, I am happy to give them long walks, trips to the nearby park, cuddles, or playtime. Cats welcome too of course!

About: I’ve grown up with both cats and dogs. I now have a cat, Pico de Gato, and I live for visits from my nephew, a Maltese named Monty. I am available for walks, drop-ins, and house sitting. I’m also a bit of a plant lady if you need plants watered! I am open to watching small dogs in my home. I work from home most days, and have a flexible schedule. I am available on weekends and would love to have your pup join me for some time in the sun! I typically go on two 20+min hot girl walks daily, in addition to shorter potty breaks. Always up for cuddles or a game of tug-o-war! Cats can enjoy a game of laser play or other excitement. If boarding in my home, I have toys, and a dog stroller available if needed.

“Jackmar is the most thoughtful dog walker I have ever had. I would trust her with my dogs life anyday anytime! She came over for a meet and greet with a pen, notebook, and so many thoughtful questions to make sure she was taking the very best care of my fur baby! She has always been so punctual, sends me many updates on their walks, and truly cares about my dog as if she is her own. I will book with Jackmar forever if I can! She is the sweetest person in the world and I couldn’t suggest booking her more if I tried!”

“Arantxa was exactly the dog caregiver we were hoping for. She took care of our dogs in a pinch with the least amount of disturbance possible. She went above my expectations with how well she kept in touch in spite of my inability to respond. I got updates and photos with our dogs looking completely happy. It was obvious they were having a great time. Her photos were great too! She asked the right questions and did a flawless job. I'll definitely book her again.”

About: I have taken care of all types of different animals almost my entire life. My parents are animal lovers just like I am so naturally I grew up tending to dogs, cats, birds, reptiles, amphibians, rabbits, chickens, peacocks, etc. I even have a 650 pound pig now which, I can assure you is much more difficult than any dog or cat you will put me in charge of! I don’t just have experience taking care of my own pets however, I have been pet sitting dogs, cats, and even farm animals sometimes, walking and potty training dogs, and volunteering at animal shelters, even a pig sanctuary one time, since I was 13 years old. Long story short, animal care has always been my passion and i’m even going to school for it now! I pride myself on being able to befriend any animal, no matter how big or small. I am currently working part time at 24 hour fitness so I have almost completely open availability for any type of care you might need, even last minute bookings I will usually accept. My apartment is only suitable for boarding small dogs or cats as it is a studio, but I am more than willing to come to you and take care of your pet exactly how you want me to. You can give me as much or as little instruction as you want, I can assure you your pet will be in the right hands.

About: My love of dogs started at an early age when I would write notes on my parents' mirror at night asking to get a dog. When they finally agreed, I have had at least one dog in my life ever since. I have had my sweet dog, Ralph, for almost 9 years and raised him myself since he was just an 8-week old baby. He is so important to me, so I know how important it is to have someone you can trust to keep your fur baby safe, entertained and happy. That's what I have been doing (unofficially) for my friends' pets so I figured it's time to make it official! I know all the best walking routes in the Cherrywood neighborhood (where I live) and have a large backyard + screened in porch for us to play/hang out in. I'd love to walk, board or just chill with your dog (or cat!) and give you some peace of mind! I'm currently looking for full time work, so I have plenty of time for walks and playtime at the moment. As of now, I can take boarders for up to 3 days and am flexible with walks and drop ins. For cat care, I am able to do drop-bys only since I have a cat and dog in the house already. I have a fenced-in yard, screen in porch and spacious house for your pups to enjoy. I typically take my own dog for a long-ish walk (weather permitting) twice a day and let him out in the back as needed throughout the day. We also have a cat, Winston, who has no fear when it comes to dogs, so it's best if your dog has had at least some exposure to cats before they come to stay. I don't crate my own dog anymore, but will happily do so if that is your preference for your own dog as long as you are able to bring the crate. My pets have pretty much free range of the whole house and furniture (yes, even the bed), I love to snuggle up :) We also have a guest room where my dog and cat typically choose to sleep. They're spoiled and they deserve it!

Upper Boggy Creek dog parents share their Rover experiences
Ashlynn is amazing! She’s been taking Ford on walks 3-5 days a week the past couple of months. She’s always on time, quick to reply and sends daily updates. We are lucky to have her help, since we have to work in the office. We can tell she cares and loves for him, which is all you can ask for!!

My Priya is a nervous elder who requires a patient soul! Melissa came for an initial greeting and then came to visit Priya twice this week. Melissa has such patience as Priya warms up and takes her out on her time. This gives me such relief as I need to be in office more, knowing there is gentle, patient support nearby!

Kim is amazing with my dog — he absolutely adores her! He gets so excited every time he sees her, and it’s clear he feels completely comfortable and happy in her care. It gives me peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. She’s always on time, super reliable, and goes the extra mile by sending me photos during their walks, which I always appreciate. I can’t recommend her enough!
