About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. I am currently a student at UNM and working part time, so my evenings are relatively free during the week. Friday afternoons - Sunday mornings are the best time for me to hangout with your pet and care for them full time. Your pet’s happiness, safety, and comfort will always be my top priority. I’ll make sure they get plenty of exercise, affection, and attention—whether that means long walks, playtime, or just lots of love and cuddles. About: Hello! I’m Marcella A and I’m currently going to cnm, majoring in veterinary medicine. My passion is to be a voice to those who can’t speak for themselves. This volunteer work at my job shadow (on resume) has given me hands-on experience handling different animal breeds and understanding the deep emotional bond between pets and their owners. I observed a cat surgery, the importance of aftercare and recovery. I’ve studied a Certified Veterinary Technologies performing a venipuncture safely. Growing up I had a lot of animals ranging from snakes, gerbils, hamsters, birds to cats and dogs. In a sense it taught me a lot of responsibility at a young age. I’ve had years of experience understanding the right diet/nutrition, structured hygienic health, behavioral patterns/management and medication needed for fuzzy friends! Currently I have OPEN availability! No furry companion is too big or too small to provide dietary/nutritional feeding times, potty breaks, midday check-ins, local dog walks, structured hygiene, health tracking & emergency preparedness! I am confident in my ability to provide exceptional care to beloved fuzzy friends from the moment they walk through the doors! I provide services to lovely pet owners to support in detailed instructions/expectations that I compile to! About: I have been consistently pet sitting for over 7 years Responsible for animal care (medical needs, walking, feeding, taking them to groomers, vets, etc.). I have Built a large list of repeat clientele over the years but am new to rover! I am currently working part time and am available for overnight pet care if they are okay for the hours I do have work. I also love walking and am available from 12 to 10pm four days out of the week. My schedule does change on a weekly basis but am very good about communication for repeat clients. I care for every pet as if they were my own and do my best to keep their routine consistent while you're away. Whether I'm staying overnight, stopping by for a drop-in, or taking your dog on a walk, I make sure they have fresh food and water, potty breaks, exercise, playtime, and plenty of love and attention. I'm happy to follow any special instructions, including administering medications if needed, and I'll send regular updates and photos so you can have peace of mind while you're away!
