My priority is always making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I carefully follow each owner’s instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and household routines, and I pay close attention to any changes in behavior or health. I make sure doors, gates, and leashes are secure, clean up after pets, and leave clients’ homes as I found them. I also provide regular photo updates and communication so owners have peace of mind while they’re away. My goal is to treat every pet with patience, compassion, and the same level of care I would want for my own.

Helpful information includes their normal routine, feeding schedule, medications, allergies or medical conditions, favorite activities, leash manners, how they interact with people or other animals, any fears or anxieties, escape tendencies, and any behaviors or household rules you’d like me to follow. The more I know beforehand, the better I can provide safe, personalized care.
A typical day
Every pet is different, so I tailor each visit to their individual needs and routine. Depending on the pet, that may include feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, walks, playtime, enrichment, medication administration if needed, and plenty of affection (if they enjoy it!). My goal is to keep their routine as consistent as possible while making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for until their family returns.

I grew up with dogs and have cared for them professionally for over five years through pet sitting, dog walking, veterinary hospitals, and boarding/daycare. I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, and energy levels, including seniors, puppies, and those requiring medication. I’m comfortable with drop-in visits, walks, feeding routines, playtime, and overnight care, and I always focus on keeping each dog safe while maintaining the routine they’re used to at home. I enjoy getting to know each dog’s unique personality and making sure they feel comfortable while their family is away.

I met Christina while she was working for Villiage Veterinarian Hospital. I called actively looking for pet boarding for my elder uncles 126 lb dog, Diamond. The hospital no longer boarded animals, and Christina kindly offered me her off duty services. Since Diamond already was familiar with Christina, I hoped, I took her up on it. Diamond is not a properly socialized dog, so at first I was a little worried. But when they met, it was like two old friends meeting again! Christina is such an animal lover, and she's so kind and considerate! She even went as far buying a toy with her own money for Diamond, because Diamond had none. She spends quality time, and gives exceptional attention to your animals. She even sends you pictures that you never even expected. Pictures that I now cherish, because just recently our precious Diamond was lost to a tragic accident. And the pictures that Christina sent me I will treasure for my remaining days. I had to break the tragic news to Christina. And that did break her heart. They formed their own bond. You could see it in the pictures that she sent. Christina brought so much joy to a kinda lonely dogs life. Yes she had a dad, but he is so old, he couldn't interact act with her the way she craved, and Christina gave her that love. You would be doing animals a great service by adding a loving person like Christina to your Rover group. I know I would definitely request her by name.
