About: I have worked and volunteered at an animal shelter and provided care and enrichment for all ages of dogs from babies to seniors. I have loved every dog I've ever met even the ones who have bitten me or are misunderstood. I have seen dogs grow up and I have seen dogs pass away. I have been the reason dogs have been adopted and given a second chance. I have even taken dogs off the streets and foster-failed (adopted) dogs who were in shelters. I have never loved something more and have only ever wanted to work with dogs. I truly can't think of anything I would rather do then be with a dog. I promise to love your dog as if it was mine. My available times throughout the week: Monday: 6am-9am and 2pm-8pm Tuesday: 6am-11am and 1pm-8pm Wednesday: 6am-9am and 11am-8pm Thursday: 6am-11am and 1pm-8pm Friday: 6am-9am and 11am-8pm Saturday: 6am-8pm Sunday: 6am-8pm I would prefer to only walk dogs and visit at owners home as well as house sit. I could not board them as I only live in an apartment that has restrictions.

My dogs and I loved having Lauren stay with them. She is observant and trustworthy. I can tell how they connect with her that they felt at home with her. My 2 large dogs are high energy and talkative. They have been difficult to manage for friends and family in the past. Lauren was able to communicate with them and set firm boundaries. I really appreciated having her stay, spend time with them, and know they were safe and loved with her.
Vincent did a wonderful job with my two cats. They are very skittish with strangers, but it was clear when I got home that they were happy and comfortable under Vincent's care. They are usually quite moody when we get back from a long trip away, but this time they were in good spirits which made the transition back home easier for all of us. I definitely recommend him and will use his services again! Thank you, Vincent! :)
Jade was a fantastic sitter for my two dogs. She followed my dogs medication requirements and all of the directions that I left her. I can tell she took good care of them because when I got home, they didn’t seem to have missed me all that much. She went above and beyond to leave my house clean for me when I got back.
Melanie was absolutely fantastic from start to finish! And I'm pretty sure I brought every challenge a pet sit can bring. I had to schedule last minute, I was leaving the country, and I have multiple dogs. She stayed overnight with them, and unfortunately we did have a scuffle between two of them on the second night that she handled masterfully. She got on the phone with me right away, sent me pictures, took great care of everyone, took the injured dog to my vet and followed up with great care of him until I could get home 2 days later. Her communication was excellent! The dogs were clearly well taken care of and in great spirits when I got home. This was my first experience using a Rover sitter and she exceeded my expectations by far! I feel incredibly lucky that Melanie was the sitter who got my crazy clan. She was kind and patient and wonderful about the entire experience.
When our dog got skunked in the backyard, Regina went to GREAT lengths to clean her up, and our house as well. She thought of everything, including potential medical indications which thankfully there were none of. All of this happening after midnight, too. I think our home smelled fresher when we got back than when we left. Amazing.
It's really an we exercise in trust to leave one's home and hound with others, and we very quickly realized that we had nothing to worry about with Andrea here, taking care of both our dog and home. Marti the dog was really well-cared for, and Andrea made sure she got her plethora of daily supplements, in addition to lots of love and play. Outstanding service and we are very grateful.
Allie provided outstanding care for my dogs while I was out of town. It’s clear that she genuinely loves animals and takes her responsibilities seriously.
