“We felt reassured and stress free leaving our pups with Rose! She was great at communicating, sending updates, and left our home like we left it. We know our dogs would be in great hands with Rose again!”
2. Emma M.
“Emma stayed at our house for several days to take care of our two dogs. She took a lot of care to understand our dogs before we left, meeting us at a park and at the house before we left and asking lots of questions. She was able to give oral medications to my dog and also change a bandage for a wound our pup got a couple days before we left. The most amazing part though, was that she was able to get a leash on our other dog, who is very afraid of strangers. Emma worked with her the whole time to get her less afraid of the leash, and by the end was able to take her on walks without further traumatizing our dog. We didn't know that that was possible. She also stayed in communication with us throughout our trip- getting pictures from her made us a little less sad to have left our babies. Thank you Emma!”
3. Katelyn D.
“I do not worry about my cats when I leave town and Katelyn is caring for them. She sends regular picture updates, and does not hesitate to ask questions. She also leaves a clean house for us to get back to. Great sitter.”
4. Julie K.
“Julie was great!”
5. Daniel F.
“Daniel went above and beyond. We have three 50lb girls, and they were in perfect spirits when we got home from a trip that was longer than two weeks. We got pictures every day, so much fetch was played that I can see a little path worn into the dirt in our yard, and they even got special cooked meals for the holidays! On top of all that, Daniel was a great steward of our home. Everything was neatly kept, and in order when we got back. As someone that's worked with a variety of animals, from cats to horses, I was incredibly impressed. 10/10 will book again.”
6. Blake P.
“Blake has watched our two dogs (and chickens) several times now and we've always been happy with their service. We have one high energy younger dog and one older dog with separation anxiety so they are not an easy bunch. Blake is very responsive accomodating of our schedules. Great dog and house sitter!”
7. Tanya H.
“We have a cat named Jazmine (Jazzy). Tanya has stayed overnight with Jazzy several times over the last year. When we get home Jazzy is happy. Her litter box is clean and she has plenty of food and water. We are extremely happy with the care Jazzy receives when Tanya takes care of her.”
8. Hannah J.
“Hannah did a great job with our three boys. She stayed with them for a week while we were on vacation. We have one highly reactive guy that can be a hand full, and she quickly won him over. She even let them sleep with her, which is saying a lot, as one of them is 95 lbs and is a bed hog! We’ll definitely use Hannah again….knowing someone is here providing good care allowed us to enjoy our vacation without worry.”
9. Hossanna S.
“Hoss has been a great dog sitter! She is very responsive through text and sends update pics 😋💜🐶. Definitely will keep having her watch my pup.”

“Janelle is knowledgeable, responsible, and loving. Our dog Bristol and cat InSink both were well cared for and treated lovingly while we were away. Janelle left the house spotless at the end of the stay. She and her family (who helped love up the critters) provided marbellís care. We will definitely hire her again.”

I'm very particular about my dog and my dog has many health issues but Rachel was super communicative which made me feel at ease knowing that my dog was being properly cared for and loved! We would def book her again! Don't hesitate to book! (Except when we need her lol)”

17. Janet G.
“Janet is AMAZING! My dogs are so sensitive to people's energy and she is definitely their favorite person. She has such a loving and calming presence that my pups respond so well to. Whenever she comes over they run out and jump in her car, and I can't seem to get them out. They must know what a fun adventure that they're in for. Janet is the only person that I trust with may babies!”
18. Melissa B.
“Melissa is incredibly attentive, communicative, and kind. She made being away from my pup so much easier and ensured he didn’t even notice I was gone! I highly highly recommend her!”

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. Growing up, my family had three dogs that I was closely bonded with and brought me such joy. Later, after moving out of my childhood house, cats were a bigger part of my life. On two separate occasions in the last few years I took on the role of long-term cat sitter for some kitties whose owners moved or went on extended vacation. Although I have not owned my own dog since teenage years, I have been around friends' dogs almost constantly - most notably, Mahoney (Mo Mo), a dog belonging to a friend I was living with a couple years ago. Mo Mo had some old trauma and therefore trust issues, meaning he sometimes took months to warm up to people. However, he tentatively let me pet him on our first meeting, and warmed up to me relatively quickly over the following 2-3 weeks. We became good friends, and since my friend traveled frequently, I was often entrusted to take care of high-energy and high-maintenance Mo Mo for days or weeks at a time. More recently, I had the pleasure of living with a friend/roommate with a new golden doodle puppy. We bonded strongly; I helped care for her and train her, and I took her with me on walks, hikes, and the occasional road trip. I have always felt a special and easy connection with animals; I adore caring for them and I could spend time with them endlessly. As of now, I am a full time graduate student, with in-person classes only occurring once a month. Other than that, I am doing my course work on my own schedule, which leaves me plenty of flexibility to help out with pet care. For now, I am not offering pet care in my own home. When I pet sit in others’ homes, I am highly attentive and respectful both of the space and of the particular instructions given to me by clients for the well being of their pets. I am open to overnight care as well as periodic visits and/or walks, depending on your specific needs.
