About: We've owned dogs and cats ourselves over the years but don't currently have our own fur babies. We've been travelling the country doing pet sitting and have LOVED it! We walk through the dog park across the street just to soak up some of that pure positive energy. We'd love to host your fur baby (ies) and give them tons of love and pets. I work from home and my husband is retired, so they will not lack for attention. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.

Patricia was willing to follow the schedule I provided, and mix my dog's kibble with chicken and rice to finish weaning her back to pure kibble. My dogs get along with Patricia's small dog, Sophie, and enjoy their surroundings during their stay (Patricia has a beautiful patio and spends time with them outside). They always come back happy and healthy. Patricia is a great sitter!”

About: Before college, I was the primary caregiver for my family’s dog, Max—handling everything from daily walks and feeding to bathing, training, and playtime tailored to his pace and personality. That hands-on experience taught me how to read a dog’s needs and build trust through consistency and care. I’ve also cared for multiple pets through prior sitting experiences, including three dogs of different sizes and three cats, so I’m comfortable adapting to a variety of temperaments, routines, and energy levels. While in college, I’ve continued growing my experience by volunteering with a local shelter’s Doggy Day Out program, taking dogs on walks, hikes, and special outings to give them enrichment and a break from the shelter environment. These experiences have strengthened my ability to care for pets with patience, attentiveness, and genuine enthusiasm. About: I have lived with at least 2 dogs in my household for the past 20 years. Providing them with the opportunities to live fulfilling and healthy lives has been my priority. Although I am their caregiver, I consider them also to be my teachers. Learning how to communicate with them is the best way to ensure they are happy and calm, and that they feel safe. I am currently retired and spend quite a bit of time at the dog park. My dog and I are mostly inseparable. I take him with me to run errands when I can. It isn't always practical and so he minds the house when I am away. Barney is my only companion, and, even though I'm kind of a loner, Barney is NOT. He is extremely friendly and social and craves the company of other dog;, that factors into my decision to care for other dogs in my home. Barney will help me keep your dog comfortable and happy while in our care. We have a fenced back yard (4 foot). The surrounding properties have no dogs at this time. If your dog can jump a 4 foot fence, this may not be the safest home for him or her.

If your pup needs a kennel when left alone, I have two here so you won’t need to bring your own. We live in a spacious condo, so they need to give enough warning to be taken outside, but we're across the street from the dog park and only blocks from the Bosque, so plenty of places to play and walk here. I work from home and have plenty of breaks. My husband is retired. We have tons of time to shower your delightful creatures with love and attention. We walk every day, so easy to take a dog along. It's easy to fit pets into our routine, and it brings us much joy to have creatures to shower with affection. We live in a spacious condo in a secure building. We have plenty of space and light. Dogs would need to give us enough warning to take the elevator downstairs. We live right by a beautiful dog park, another city park, and the Bosque.
