I had a prior commitment for the afternoon and needed someone to just hang out with him, not overnight and not take him for a walk. So it was an odd request. I'd only had the pup two days, so everything was new--he didn't even have a name yet. But he liked David and felt comfortable with him hanging out. So of course when I needed him to be watched again, only hours after the boy was neutered, David came and sat by his bedside when I had to go out for the evening.
