About: I am the designated dog sitter for my entire family and love all kinds of dogs but am a bit biased to goldens and huskies because those are my dogs at home! Animals are better than people and would love to meet your adorable furry friends! I have experience with senior dogs as well as puppies! I love to fetch and swim or lay on the couch and cuddle! Whatever your pooch prefers I’d love to keep them company! “Tara did a fantastic job on a rather unusual assignment that I had for her, which involved not only taking care of my adult dog and puppy at my house for three nights, but also taking care of my cousin’s puppy, also at my house during the same time, who had never previously met my dogs. She also had her own dog with her, making it a dog party of four! Everybody had a great time, and Tara sent us photos multiple times a day of the dogs playing and hanging out together. About: Throughout my life, I have been surrounded by animals of all kinds, fostering a deep and intuitive connection with them. This bond has always felt effortless, as forming relationships with animals is one of my greatest passions. I have successfully trained numerous dogs to coexist harmoniously with family members, other pets, and small children. My fearlessness around animals has allowed me to interact with them without hesitation, and I have never been bitten. My approach is rooted in compassion, patience, and understanding, earning me the reputation of an “animal whisperer.” I currently have a lot of free time, and this would be my main priority! About: Since I was a child my family has had pets in the home. When I was 9 my sister and I collaborated to earn ourselves a kitten and since then pet care has been an important part of my life both the cuddly and the smelly. Most of my experience is with cats, I have one myself who is a total sweetheart once she gets comfortable. About: Ever since I can remember I have adored animals. I have always been the person who would go over to a friend's house and end up sitting by their pet the whole time! When I became old enough, I started volunteering at my local animal shelter and pet sitting as much as I could. At the shelter, I walked dogs, spent time playing with cats and kittens, and helped clean kennels and cages. I have also worked at a doggy daycare where I was around both large and small dog breeds. I had a senior dog of nearly 16 years who just passed away due to cancer so I have experience caring for senior dogs all the way to their end of life. I also have a rabbit who has had lots of health issues, so I am condfident with syringe feeding and administering medications. I am currently unemployed, though I do have potential offers in the works, so for now I have full availability! I will update my availability as it changes. Due to having a free roam rabbit, I am unable to offer boarding at this time. However, I will provide any sort of care necessary for your pets in your homes! I am very good at following directions if you have a list for me, but I am also good at just knowing what goes into caring for pets, such as watching for potty cues and noticing when they need mental or physical stimulation.

Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
