We’ve also had rodents & reptiles but I do prefer the dogs & cats. I love to care for animals, they brighten my days and I want to brighten their days also. “Tara did a fantastic job on a rather unusual assignment that I had for her, which involved not only taking care of my adult dog and puppy at my house for three nights, but also taking care of my cousin’s puppy, also at my house during the same time, who had never previously met my dogs. About: Since I was a child my family has had pets in the home. When I was 9 my sister and I collaborated to earn ourselves a kitten and since then pet care has been an important part of my life both the cuddly and the smelly. Most of my experience is with cats, I have one myself who is a total sweetheart once she gets comfortable. I’ve watched over and managed multiple cat households, senior cats, outdoor cats, and cats that have required oral medication. I also have experience watching over dogs, taking them out when needed, playing with them to help tire them out. I am comfortable walking dogs big and small, I am not professionally trained but know I can hold my own when needed. I’m currently between jobs so have plenty of time to care for your pets! Available all hours of the day and night, and I can be flexible with new jobs or cancellations. About: Hi! My name is Taylor, and I’m a passionate animal lover with 5 years of hands-on pet care experience. Animals have always been a huge part of my life, and I currently have 3 dogs, 1 cat, and 5 chickens of my own! My experience goes far beyond caring for my own pets. I’ve worked at two dog daycares and as a groomer, where I gained experience caring for dogs with a wide variety of personalities, energy levels, and needs. I’ve cared for puppies, senior dogs, dogs with intense anxiety, and dogs who need a little extra patience, reassurance, and one-on-one attention. I’ve also administered medications and am comfortable following specific care instructions to make sure every pet gets exactly what they need. I have extensive experience with cats as well, including kittens, senior cats, cats requiring medication, and even feral cats. I’m FetchFind certified, which taught me a lot about animal behavior and communication, and I’m currently completing two animal behavior certifications through Washington State University, where I’m learning more about animal behavior, including both canine and feline behavior. I especially love working with animals who need a little extra love and understanding. I used to volunteer at PAWS Animal Shelter as a dog walker, so I am comfortable with dogs of all sizes and ages.
