About: I saved my Chihuahua, Thistle, from a kill shelter when he was 18 months old. I nursed him through being hit by a car, helped him gain weight from being underfed, and encouraged him to be a confident dog (he was extremely anxious) through training and gentle love and care. From this, I learned how to administer medications to animals, so I can provide this kind of care to your fur babies also. My Chihuahua is now a senior dog, but you wouldn’t be able to tell with how active he is! He gets lots of walks and play time, and he loves it best when I get on the floor with him. I am comfortable getting to know your pet and giving them the level and type of attention that they need! I looked into breed specific care, and Chihuahuas have weaker joints, so I put him on a joint supplement right when I got him, and it has really made a difference in his mobility and quality of life. It’s important to administer care to animals in the specific way that is best for them! I would show the same consideration to your pet. That includes factoring in their temperament. As my dog has gotten older, his needs around personal boundaries have increased, so I make sure to check in with him before petting him, picking him up, or otherwise touching him, and I do not touch him if he gives me a no, except in an actual emergency (i.e. the animal could be hurt or hurt someone else if I do not touch them). Instead, I do something else and check in again later. This allows me to establish a real felt sense of safety and trust with your pet. I also had cats all growing up, and have a real affection for them, as well as a clear understanding of their boundaries. I would be honored to care for your pet family just as I care for mine! I currently freelance, which means I have the freedom to take care of your pets whenever you need me to. I can be flexible to your needs. As my dog is a people’s dog and not a dog’s dog, I offer my services in your home. I can walk your pet, do a drop-in visit, or housesit! I will follow your instructions to the letter, and ask about any specific or special care your pet might need.

Caring for them isn’t just about feeding and walks—it’s about building trust, comfort, and a little friendship along the way. Pet sitting fits naturally into my routine since I work part-time with very flexible hours. I’m able to plan my schedule around visits, walks, and check-ins, whether they’re early mornings, midday, or evenings. Because I manage my own time, I can give pets consistent attention, unrushed care, and plenty of love throughout the week. I care for pets in my home and yours with the same level of love, patience, and attention I give my own. In my home, I create a calm, safe, and cozy environment where they can relax, play, and feel like part of the family. I adhere strictly to their regular routines—feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and bedtime habits—to ensure their security and comfort.
