About: I have experience working with large groups of dogs with Allies Walkabout. I live with three cats, a dog, and a bearded dragon. I’m also currently working at Petsmart as a bather in the grooming salon, so I’m interacting with a bunch of different dogs all the time! I’m full time and work most days 730am-4pm, while I’m normally off Thursday’s and Monday’s. For pet sitting I fill up food and water while letting them use the bathroom in the early morning and head straight back after work to check in! I’m committed to creating a safe, calm and trusting environment where every pet feels comfortable and cared for. I take the time to understand each pet’s personality, routine, and needs so they can feel secure and happy while in my care. I also have plenty of experience leash walking and crating if needed!

About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.

About: I have a lot of experience with taking care of animals. Growing up, we always had at least one dog in the house. I have three dogs back at my home in Cleveland, Ohio that I miss a lot. I work for PetSmart full time at their corporate office and would love the opportunity to share my passion about dogs by taking care of yours in my free time. I currently have a dog named Winston who is a two year old cairn terrier mix. I have experience with house-dog sitting and dog walking. Whether you need someone to drop by and feed your dog, walk them, or spend the night to watch them, I would be happy to help! Because I work at the PetSmart corporate office I am able to take your dog with me to work so they don't have to be alone throughout the day and can socialize with other dogs. I’m caring, responsible, and enjoy the company of all dogs!

About: Growing up we always had dogs in our home. I have experience caring for both small, large, and giant breeds. I have a giant breed puppy of my own, which I adore. I walk my own dog and my parent's dogs everyday. I make sure they get all their energy out. A tired dog is a happy dog! I have a very flexible schedule at the moment. I take my own dog on walks everyday, always making sure I have time for his exercise needs. I am mainly available from 8-4pm but can take car of your dog in the evening too. I have a fenced in yard at my house your pet could play in. I have toys for fetch and other activities for mental stimulation. I have set up miniature 'courses' for my dogs to do in our yard like cones to weave in and out of and boxes to jump over. I am also used to walking multiple dogs at once, if you have several pets that need exercised! I always have water available for dogs during play time and after walks. I'm available almost every weekend. During the week I only have flexibility at lunch time. However, my husband works from home and we can always try to meet your schedule's needs. I have always loved animals! Growing up we had many different kinds. I have been on Rover for a years (taking some time off for school) but I have enjoyed getting to meet and take care of other's pets. I want to provide a safe and fun experience for each pet.

Laura has been absolutely amazing with my dog. She does weekend check-ins and walks for us, and I genuinely couldn’t ask for anyone better. My dog can be a little more challenging than most, but Laura is incredibly patient, thoughtful, and attentive with him. She really takes the time to understand his personality and needs instead of just going through the motions. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs she works with, and that makes all the difference. I highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and dedicated. She goes above and beyond every time.

About: I’ve been pet sitting professionally for around 5 years now and am very comfortable with most kinds of animals. I have experience in training pups, senior care, and medication administration. I’ve cared for animals with tumor-induced epilepsy, blastomycosis, diabetes, recovery from surgery, etc. In other words, I am prepared to care for your animal in whatever capacity they require. I work a part-time position that requires Saturday evenings and at least one 8 hour shift in the morning through the week. Other than that, I am available to be with your companions at all times of the day as per need. I will care for your pet in whatever capacity necessary. If they must be crate trained at night, fed daily medicine, diaper changed, regular training practice in basic skills (sitting, etc.), frequent walks, bathed, trimmed, I'm your girl. I’ll do my best to make them comfortable with me and happy in your home (even if that means love from a distance for some of our timid fellas).

About: I’ve cared for various dog and cat breeds/personalities throughout my life, I love them all! I have some experience administering medications to dogs and cats. I am patient and consistent when it comes to following rules or a routine. I will treat your babies like they’re my own! My daily routine includes caring for my 3 kitties by playing with, cleaning up after, and feeding/watering them; I’d love to do the same for your pets! I’m familiar with special diets and administering various forms of medication, as my cats and other pets I sit, are on medicated diets and take additional medications. I currently have open availability, save a few social obligations over then next two months, but I’m flexible and communicative so we can always discuss timelines! I treat other’s spaces with care and consideration, I like to be respectful above anything else. I love all animals and treat the pets I sit with the same care I do my own.

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I recently lost my 2 beloved dogs after nearly a decade together, which inspired me to sign up as a volunteer at my local animal shelter so I can continue spending time caring for dogs and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm, reassuring companion, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'll treat your dog with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I'd want for my own. I work weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but I'm available before and after work every day, as well as all evenings and weekends. I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of love, attention, and quality care. I can also step away from work, on my lunch break, depending on the day. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My husband and I own our home. I have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play and will always provide close supervision, plenty of affection, and a calm, loving environment where your pup can feel right at home. I can also crate your pup if needed!

About: We only take dogs up to 30lbs due to my daughter being afraid of most bigger dogs despite us having one of our own. We will give consideration to dogs over that weight if we feel it’s a good fit. We have recently begun boarding in our home again and have adopted a new goldendoodle Lincoln on 3/22/24. He will be about 60lbs once full grown He’s sweet and full of energy and loves to play with all dogs. I have had my own dogs for about 11 years and have also taken care of friends pets although usually in their own homes. Best Rover sitter I have had thus far! They’ve all been great but he was especially detailed with how they all did each day and I could tell he was paying attention because it really fit each personality exactly. He took lots of pictures and touched on the shy one getting attention because she loves it but doesn’t seek it out. Had total peace of mind. He also stayed a little extra time which I so appreciated. Really above and beyond!

Tiarra is an absolute blessing! I cannot say enough amazing things about Tiarra. This was my first time ever using Rover and my first time leaving my dog, KoKo, in the care of someone outside of the two family members who normally watch her. If they weren’t available, I would simply take her with me. Both of KoKo’s trainers had encouraged me to work on detaching a little more and allowing other people to care for her, so I decided this long weekend would be the perfect opportunity to try. The person I originally had arranged to watch KoKo cancelled on me the Sunday before I was leaving. By Monday, I was completely stressed because I was flying out Friday. My cousin had always recommended Rover, so I downloaded the app and came across Tiarra. From the moment I reached out, Tiarra was incredible. She was extremely responsive and immediately offered to come do a same day meet and greet with me and KoKo before I even booked. That meant so much to me because I was understandably nervous and wanted to make sure KoKo and I felt comfortable. When she came over, I walked her through KoKo’s routine, and she immediately put me at ease. She was professional, patient, open, receptive, and genuinely understanding of the fact that this was a completely new experience for both KoKo and me. She made the entire process feel so much easier. While I was away, her communication and daily check in notes were TOP NOTCH. Detailed, thorough, everything! She kept me updated, was incredibly responsive, and never made me feel concerned. She didn’t just come in, do what she needed to do, and leave either. She actually stayed for the full visit I paid for, took her time, and genuinely cared about KoKo. That speaks volumes about her character and the way she approaches her work. What impressed me most was her transparency, honesty, professionalism, and integrity. She was communicative throughout the entire process, receptive to adjustments, and truly made me feel like KoKo was in good hands. I was able to enjoy my trip knowing she was being cared for by someone I could trust. Tiarra completely exceeded my expectations. She took what started as a very stressful, last-minute situation and turned it into such a positive experience. My first experience with Rover could not have gone better because of Tiarra. I will absolutely be using Tiarra again and would recommend her to anyone looking for someone who is reliable, trustworthy, communicative, professional, caring, attentive, and has genuine integrity. Tiarra, thank you for taking such wonderful care of my baby girl KoKo and for giving me peace of mind while I was away. You are truly a blessing, and I’m so grateful I found you! I couldn’t recommend her more!

Grace did a wonderful job! She was patient with my crank old boy. She came and took wonderful care of cosmo even when he wasnt the friendliest with her the firsr couple days. She remained calm and continued working with him until he fully warmed up to her. Grace continued to give me updates on how he was doing everyday and even noticed when he was acting a little different due to him having a mild reaction/ itching a lot due to treats that were provided and went out of her way to get new ones for him. I could not have asked for a better sitter to pop in on my boy.

A pet sitter can provide focused care sessions, help your pet’s routine stay on track, or keep you updated on your pet’s mood and energy levels.

Whether you’re at the office for the day or traveling for a few nights, a pet sitter can offer potty breaks during a Union stroll, cleaning the litter box, or making sure your pet has on-time food or water refills. For daytime services like walking and drop-ins, you can also request sitters to send a report card with every visit.

Tip: You can discuss your specific arrangements with a pet sitter on Rover to what fits you, your pet, and your sitter’s needs. To find what their special skills are, look at the "Skills" and "Pet care experience" sections on their profile.

Key handling is entirely up to you and your sitter to agree on during the Meet & Greet or in the Rover app. Most pet parents in Union choose to hand over a spare key or digital fob in person, while others arrange a lockbox or unique access code. Don't forget to discuss key returns as well!

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking. Recurring services come with their own perks, such as flexibility to modify services (up to five weeks in advance), automatic billing, Rover Card updates, and same-day cancellations.

To find sitters in Union with recurring or weekly availability, select "Repeat Weekly" and which days you’d like them to care for your pet.

  • 97% can help with giving oral medications or injections

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
