About: We’ve had animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! I am a stay at home mom so adding a pet into our daily routine is actually pretty easy! We’re used to care for our own dog! We just have them join whatever we’re doing which makes it easier. I have two Littles who love to play outside and take them walks so I usually just have our pups tag along! Our pups routine is usually out to pee in the morning, a walk after her breakfast, lots of outdoor play or sunbathe time while me and my two kiddos play our back, another walk once the kids take their naps, more play time with the kids, another walk after dinner, then a pee break before we get into bed for the night! I’m home all day as a stay at home mom and my husband is fully remote so our pup is used to having somewhere there for whatever she needs or when we do go out and about if we’re able to we take her! Our dog frequents our parents house for even more cuddles and play! Animals are always part of the family on our end.
“Andrea has done an incredible job at letting our shy pup go at his own pace. We also appreciate her excellent communication with us about how each visit has been going and in arranging schedules. Darwin is more and more excited each time she visits!!”

“Megan watched my two rambunctious Siamese Tabbies while I was on vacation. She did a wonderful job caring for them! I received pictures everyday and updates on how they were doing. Megan was so conscientious about taking care of both the cats and my home. I would have her come back in a heartbeat!”

I would like to offer to you my dog services to you, which would include watching your dog, walking, running, feeding and making sure they have plenty of exercise!! I have a true love for animals and love working with them. I have much experience with different breeds of dogs and would like to meet your friend!! I also will offer pick up and drop off to better serve you. About this sitter: I love working with people and their pets!! I am able to walk, run, and play with your dogs whenever you need me! I care for pets by greeting them and playing with them, taking them on runs or walks, giving them extra affection and attention and treats!
“Tiffany did great with our three dogs. It was a last minute request, and one of our dogs started experiencing health issues after we booked. I let her know this expecting she’d wanting to cancel, but she said she didn’t mind and helped without hesitation. We will definitely be using her moving forward!”

About: Dogs have been a huge part of my life for the past 10 years, and caring for them is something I truly enjoy. I recently lost my 2 beloved dogs after nearly a decade together, which inspired me to sign up as a volunteer at my local animal shelter so I can continue spending time caring for dogs and giving them the love and attention they deserve. I understand that every dog has a unique personality, routine, and needs. Whether your pup loves long walks, playtime, cuddles on the couch, or simply having a calm, reassuring companion, I'll make sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for while you're away. I'll treat your dog with the same patience, kindness, and attention that I'd want for my own. I work weekdays from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., but I'm available before and after work every day, as well as all evenings and weekends. I'll make sure your dog receives plenty of love, attention, and quality care. I can also step away from work, on my lunch break, depending on the day. Your dog's safety and comfort are my top priorities. My husband and I own our home. I have a securely fenced yard for safe outdoor play and will always provide close supervision, plenty of affection, and a calm, loving environment where your pup can feel right at home. I can also crate your pup if needed!

About: I'm getting back into pet sitting after taking a break for a few years - please forgive the lack of activity recently. I've been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the past 5+ years at a local vet clinic and I'm studying to become a Licensed Veterinary Technician at University of Cincinnati (Bearcats 2028, baby!) I’ve had cats, dogs, lizards, hamsters and more since I was about 3 years old. I’ve always had a passion for animals of all kinds. I am happy to help with special needs pets and giving medications! I work full-time and attend school part time in the evenings, which can sometimes make for a very long day. When I am pet sitting, 99% of my time when I'm not at work or school is time spent with your pet. I treat all animals and any environment where I am considered a guest with the utmost respect and care. I am also trained in CPR and giving oral, injectable and topical medications.
“Absolutely fantastic experience with our pet sitter, Erika. She did an amazing job caring for my two cats, who are usually very wary of new people. By the end of her time with them, one of my cats even let her hold him which is a huge milestone and really shows how patient, calm, and gentle she was with both of them. Erika was very professional throughout, followed all instructions carefully, and always replied quickly, which really helped ease my stress while I was away. I felt completely confident knowing my two cats were in great hands. I would absolutely book her again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.”

“Cathy was great with my cats. My shy cat even came around to her. She communicated with me daily while on vacation. I was able to enjoy my vacation so much more knowing my cats were well taken care of.”

“Tiffany has done a lot of drop in visits for us and overnight stays. She’s great at keeping in touch and sending photos. We always feel at ease when we have her taking care of our fur-babies.”
“Grace was so great with all my animals, she says she's not much of a cat person, but my cat took to her almost immediately. My chickens loved the attention and all the treats. My fish were very happy for the food and my 2 dogs were so excited to see her when she showed up, they would greet her at the door and want all the attention! She was a great communicator to me, sending me tons of pics and videos of all my happy animals, she really relieved a lot of stress I had, since this was the first time leaving all of them to someone else. I totally recommend her and I will definitely use her again, she is the best!”

“Laura has been absolutely amazing with my dog. She does weekend check-ins and walks for us, and I genuinely couldn’t ask for anyone better. My dog can be a little more challenging than most, but Laura is incredibly patient, thoughtful, and attentive with him. She really takes the time to understand his personality and needs instead of just going through the motions. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing he’s in such good hands. You can tell she truly cares about the dogs she works with, and that makes all the difference. I highly recommend Laura to anyone looking for someone reliable, compassionate, and dedicated. She goes above and beyond every time.”

“Missy was so wonderful with my puppy Corbin! I had zero concerns leaving him in her hands. She was very communicative, followed directions, was respectful of my home, and was detailed in her updates. The photos she included in her updates were the highlight of my day! I could tell she really enjoyed her time with him and he was having fun and felt safe with her. Thank you so much, Missy!!!”

About: I’ve been pet sitting professionally for around 5 years now and am very comfortable with most kinds of animals. I have experience in training pups, senior care, and medication administration. I’ve cared for animals with tumor-induced epilepsy, blastomycosis, diabetes, recovery from surgery, etc. In other words, I am prepared to care for your animal in whatever capacity they require. I work a part-time position that requires Saturday evenings and at least one 8 hour shift in the morning through the week. Other than that, I am available to be with your companions at all times of the day as per need. I will care for your pet in whatever capacity necessary. If they must be crate trained at night, fed daily medicine, diaper changed, regular training practice in basic skills (sitting, etc.), frequent walks, bathed, trimmed, I'm your girl. I’ll do my best to make them comfortable with me and happy in your home (even if that means love from a distance for some of our timid fellas).
About: Ever since my parents let me get a dog I’ve been a dog lover ever since! I’m excited to be that friendly face that pets need. I just got a cat of my own and love her to death- so I’m a new cat lover! I’m reliable and willing to do what you need for your pet :) I’m a nurse so I work 3 shifts a week! On my off days I like to workout and go for walks so it’s the perfect opportunity to take your dog out for a walk or do a drop-in visit In my own home I have two doodles and I’ve grown to love them and their personalities. When friends or family would go out of town I am easily availble to walk, feed, and care for a dog. I follow instructions well and I’m easy to get along with and trust!
“Destiny was great. She responded fast and always checked in with us with any questions and updates about our dogs. She sent us pictures each time she took care of our two dogs. I highly recommend Destiny and we'll be sure to book her again next time if she's available.”

“Mariah was great, she was really flexible and met for a meet and greet before scheduling and showed up on time for all of the scheduled visits and left detailed reports and even cleaned up when there were accidents. Would absolutely schedule with her again!”

About: I have been pet sitting since I was 16 years old. I am often asked by coworkers of family to house sit during their vacations. I have pet sat dogs, cats, fish, and even chickens! I am comfortable waking, giving medication, and cuddling (my personal favorite), whatever your pup needs! I have two dogs of my own. One of my dogs is a senior and is high need due to his bone cancer. He requires daily medication and will until we are able to remove the leg. My other pup is a rambunctious lab, who is high drive and needs daily stimulation so he doesn’t anger his older brother. I often take him on walks or use the pond near our home to tire him out! I am used to house sitting in all types of homes. If your pup needs a daily walk I am can do that. If they’re an outside pup we can take a walk or even a hike! I stay at the home and don’t leave often. I ask that a physical copy of directions are left so that I can give the 100% proper care and able to contact through phone as well!

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Union
Grace did a wonderful job! She was patient with my crank old boy. She came and took wonderful care of cosmo even when he wasnt the friendliest with her the firsr couple days. She remained calm and continued working with him until he fully warmed up to her. Grace continued to give me updates on how he was doing everyday and even noticed when he was acting a little different due to him having a mild reaction/ itching a lot due to treats that were provided and went out of her way to get new ones for him. I could not have asked for a better sitter to pop in on my boy.

Rachel did an amazing job taking care of my pets. She was on time with their visits and even stayed over extra to make sure they got extra care. All feedings and potty times went as scheduled. My dog Maisey is very shy and she even got her to cuddle and play with her! My cat hides and she even managed to get him out on the last day she visited my home. If your looking for someone to sit with a pet that is people shy should give her a try.

Louie's new best friend is Edith!! You can feel her genuine care and concern for learning his quirks and how best to handle him. She is a very conscientious person and we feel totally confident while he is in her care. We look forward to many more happy visits.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
While Rover doesn’t offer traditional subscription services, some sitters offer recurring bookings for services like home visits and dog walking.
