“This is the first time I’ve used a pet sitter instead of boarding my cat Cali as I felt she would be more comfortable in her own home. I came across the Rover website and booked a sitter close to my home. My cat has an automatic feeder for dry food as well as a water fountain. So, the only “services” I needed were to feed her wet food in the evening and clean the litter box. I met with my sitter, Amy, and explained how to access my home, where to dispose of litter etc. Amy did an excellent job and even went above and beyond to try and get a photo of Cali, who hides from strangers. Thai has been a great experience and I will definitely use Rover and Amy again.”

I’ve had many pets growing up and I now have two of my own. I have two dachshunds named Harmony and Hazel. My favorite pet I’ve ever owned was my chinchilla! Her name was Bella. A home is not the same without a pet. I currently work a part time job and know my schedule two weeks at a time. I also have a business and work from home for that. I know my schedule usually months ahead of time. With that being said, my schedule is flexible! I can work mornings, mid day and evenings. I have a large back yard and a cute neighborhood that I walk my two dogs around. I live close to a few parks. I also have a full finished basement so if you need your pet to be crated or would like for them have a large space to themselves I have plenty of room.

About: We only take dogs up to 30lbs due to my daughter being afraid of most bigger dogs despite us having one of our own. We will give consideration to dogs over that weight if we feel it’s a good fit. We have recently begun boarding in our home again and have adopted a new goldendoodle Lincoln on 3/22/24. He will be about 60lbs once full grown He’s sweet and full of energy and loves to play with all dogs. About: I've always have dog in my life, and my passion for dogs will last forever. My friend told me that I don't treat my dogs as dogs but babies. Remember, a genuine love for animals and a commitment to their well-being are at the heart of any successful pet care experience! I'm currently full time house wife with 2 dogs, no kids. My daily routines are my dogs, so I have a lot of time to watch yours too! We walk 4 times a day, and enjoy homemade dog treat and food. I don't have yard so I walk dogs instead (3-4 times a day), and I always clean them right after walking so they are allowed on furniture. Remember, a walk a day keep vet away. I do have crates if needed.

Growing up on a farm in southern KY I am used to caring for a variety of animals including dogs, cats, birds, miniature pigs, guinea pigs, rabbits, hamsters, etc! Our animals have always been apart of our family and go where we go! Our animals are allowed on the furniture, sleep in our bed, and love to visit our parents house! About: Warning ⚠️! Your furry companion will be worn out with fun activities in my large fenced in backyard, with additional happy walks and hikes. When it's time to rest, they will enjoy relaxing in my spacious clean home with plenty of love and care. I am a stay-at-home mom with children who attend summer camps. Drop off can be as early as 7:00 a.m. and for overnight stays 6:00 p.m. Pick up times can be negotiated. Large safe neighborhood, in the heart of Independence. You can trust that I will be with your pet for most of the day and I always let the owners know if I have errands to run or appointments to attend. My children are 7 and 10 years old, they absolutely love animals. They have been educated on the proper way to approach and play with dogs and cats. At no time will the children be left with your pet alone. When my husband is in town, he arrives home around 5:45 every evening and is a big dog lover. He misses having a dog but travels too much for the military.

About: I can't remember a time I didn't have a dog! From birth I've always had my dog companons, I currently have 2 dogs of my own.(Deiliah, and scoob) Ive volunteered at several animal shelters delicating alot of my time to the ones who need love, and for the simple fact... How can you be sad surrounded by furry doggos...that's right you can't! I take my dog on daily walks, bathe her, love her, and play with all her favorite toys! Delilah is my rescue dog and she's been the biggest blessing to our family! I've never met a dog I don't like.. so let me love your fur babies! I accept puppies,and old dogs. All breeds are equally loved, pits, labs, Chihuahuas, and even Dobermans! I work 12 hour shifts Wednesday through Saturday. I have availability anytime after 2:00 Sunday through Tuesday I am available all day I currently work Wednesday through Saturday 2:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. I am off Sunday through Tuesday so my availability is flexible feel free to reach out During the visit if your pet gets too anxious I am able to create them a safe space or put them in their crate. About: I’ve taken care of dogs a few years now, and also have a history of nursing school which helps in my caring of animals. I really spend quality time with the pets and make sure to give them rewards :) I am currently unemployed until I start a new job in August which gives me a lot of quality time to spend with the doggies! Our apartment is very safe and situated in close proximity to various areas (10 minutes from Florence, 15-20 minutes from Hebron). About: I walk the dogs at the animal shelter when I have extra time. I have done this on and off for about 3 years when I can. I work part time night shift and I’m in school 3 or 4 mornings a week, but I often have time in the afternoons and weekends. I have grown up with dogs and cats. About: I have years of experience caring for my own pets, I worked at a doggy daycare where I tended to and cared for countless dogs of different sizes and temperaments, and I am currently attending college where I am studying animal science. I am currently only working Fridays and Saturdays from 6am to 1pm. Outside of those hours I have plenty of time to walk pets and do daily visits and check ins. I have every intention of following the instructions and training I have received from the dog behavioral and training course I took while working at a doggy daycare, but I will also follow any instructions given to me by the pet owners. About: I've had pets my whole life and absolutely love animals! I have a ton of experience with all types of animals and absolutely will love yours like my own! I have worked with animals from babies to elderly and have provided many aspects of care and maintenance. I am home almost all day everyday unless running errands, which never take me long. I will have plenty of time to play with your pets and spend time with them! I am available for house sitting, walking, and check ins throughout the weekend.
