About: PLEASE BE AWARE THAT DUE TO MY FULL-TIME DAY JOB, I AM ONLY AVAILABLE ON WEEKENDS AND SCHOOL HOLIDAYS. I am a teacher so can only offer dog sitting, walking and drop-in visits services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also recommend a meet and greet at least one week before your booking. Taking care of dogs is the best job in the world! I've loved working on Rover for the opportunity to take care of the amazing dogs in Sussex. I am a former President of the University of Sussex Dog Walking Society and through this, I had the chance to interact with owners and fellow walkers to gain a substantial knowledge of dog care and dog breed information. I have taken care of a variety of dogs; big and small, young and old, abled and disabled so I have no issue taking care of any type of dog. I am trained in dog first aid training so you don't have to worry about any issue that may arise. Whilst working in the University of Sussex Dog Walking Society, I look after a rescue dog named Maggie and her sister Millie . They have taught me so much about dog care and the love that I have for dogs and have thus inspired me to help out other dog owners in caring for their dogs when they need it. •Please be aware that 15% of payments goes to Rover to cover ongoing support, educational opportunities, and promotion of services. Therefore, my rates are: House Sitting - £21.25 + £3.75 to Rover = £25 Dog Walking – £12.75 + £2.25 to Rover = £15 Drop-In Visits - £10.20 + £1.80 to Rover = £12 Thank you for your understanding! • Walks last for 30 minutes unless the 60 minute supplement is added by the owner. Adding the supplement gives myself and your dog(s) the opportunity to travel further afield such as to Eastbourne Beach or into the Downs. I also choose to take care of dogs from one household at a time so that I can invest my full energy towards those dogs. I am a teacher so can only offer dog sitting, walking and drop-in visits services on Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays. I also recommend a meet and greet at least one week before your booking. During our meet and greet, I will learn as much as I can about the daily schedule of your dog(s) and how I can seamlessly enter the household without interruption. Doggy day care and dog boarding will include playtime, cuddles and interactions with other people.

“5 stars isn’t enough - I couldn’t have asked for someone better to look after our cat whilst we were away! We haven’t used Rover before so I was a bit skeptical about having someone look after our cat let alone go into our house every day whilst we weren’t around but I couldn’t have been more wrong. Jethro and Fallon were faultless and so trustworthy and really made us feel really confident and happy both before we went away and whilst we were away too. Fantastic communication, regular updates and photos, real care and attention given to our furbaby so he didn’t have to go to a Cattery! They were also super helpful with post and other deliveries. We are already planning our next trip away because we are so confident that our cat will be so well looked after by them.”

About: I have experience looking after dogs and cats aswell as sick animals that need daily medication. Growing up I spent a lot of time with my two cats. However, I have always wanted a dog and luckily, thanks to friends and relatives I have been able to feed, train and walk a variety of dogs. I cant wait to befriend your beloved dogs and cats, and keep them safe, healthy and exercised whilst you are on holiday or just at work. I currently do some self employed gardening, but am free most of the week. This means I am flexible with times and can work around you. I believe safety and trust can be ensured with regular updates, photos and pre written instructions for all animals. This should include how they interact with children or other dogs on walks, medication and how to administer it, feeding times etc. I will always be available for a daily update or any questions you may have.

About: I’ve had animals all my life, ranging from cats/dogs through to horses, Fowl and even sheep. I’m a lover of all animals and I’m happy to deal with any of your Babies needs. Ultimately for me I want to ensure that while you are away you’re animals are loved and well looked thus giving you peace of mind to be able to enjoy yourselves. For Boarding purposes I’m at home all day, I treat every animal as if they were my own, showering them with love, cuddles and plenty of stimulation in play. For Pet sitting purposes I’m happy to look after small pets/reptiles/birds/horses & small livestock, basically any animals, although I draw the line at petting spiders 😆 I’m happy to take on the calm through to the crazy’s 😆 I’m very hands on but I’ll be led (excuse the pun) by your babies. I would walk all Dogs on leads to be sure they stay safe at all times unless in an enclosed area and you’re comfortable with me doing so. I have 2 dogs (bitches) and a female cat at home all have no problem with other dogs. I’m married and a mum to 3 teenagers and none are nervous around animals. Like me they love to give cuddles and play with your Fur babies. I’m happy to have male intact dogs at mine unless my girls are in season. I’ve handled litters of puppies and Kittens through the years, and still have the Puppies back for play dates and sleepovers when required by their new owners. While looking after your babies I’ll be happy to provide updates with photos and videos to ensure you have every faith your little guys are in good hands. Happy to provide walking services. I’m at home all day only popping out to the local amenities so your babies will be around me majority of the time. I don’t mind dogs on the bed if that’s what they’re used to or if they feel anxious and require comfort. My pets tend to sleep in the front room but for Boarding & pet sitting purpose's I’m happy to meet your individual needs to be discussed on enquiry.

I am currently doing a dog grooming course to learn more about dog and to spend even more time with them I’m currently working full time, but I want to start doing dog grooming and walking full time as I have always loved the idea of this. Eventually you should be about to hire me any time and any day When walking they will only walk on the path side not closes to the road this is important so there’s no chance of the dog getting to close to cars

Luke D.

“Luke is my first 'port of call' for anything dog related! Luke is extremely knowledgable about dogs but not only this, he is the most kind and caring dog lover - he cares for every dog as if they were his own. Luke is reliable, trustworthy and compassionate and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend him to anyone looking for someone to care for their pet. (Don't just take my word for it - all 40+ dogs at Sussex Uni Dog Walking Society agree!!) Not only do you know your dog is safe and well looked after when they're with Luke (he even carries a Dog First Aid kit bumbag at all times), you can guarantee they are having a fantastic time and will come home shattered!”

“Phoebe is punctual, reliable, friendly and my dogs love her and howl with excitement when they see her. One of my lurchers is a front leg amputee, and Phoebe understands her individual needs when walking her, Phoebe takes water with her ,and recognises when she needs to rest and is very patient with her. Both my dogs can be reactive and Phoebe handles unexpected situations calmly and professionally. Both my dogs come back happy and content. Phoebe also administers medication to my elderly dog. I completely trust Phoebe with my dogs and I would highly recommend her.”

Michelle W.

Abigail is kept fully entertained and you can see that Michelle makes her feel safe and loved. Abigail is always happy and has a great time ! We hope that Michelle can be her forever pet sitter and we are so appreciative that she looks after her so well. I have no hesitation in recommending Michelle to others. Tayla S.
“Tayla looked after our two cats whilst we were away for 2 weeks on our honeymoon. We had no problems at all whilst away and when we returned our cats were very happy and content and it was clear to see Tayla had cared well for them. Tayla had even made sure that our particularly needy cat got plenty of cuddles whilst we were away. Tayla was really easy to contact and very reliable. We have used Tayla more than once now to care for our pets whilst on mini get always and holidays and could not recommend her enough.”

“Amber is great! She helped us out in a pinch and was so patient and helpful while we were away, which really helped give us peace of mind. Would definitely recommend :)”

Freya B.
“Freya has cared for our pets several times and has always been reliable and responsible. She takes time prior to pet sitting to pop round and find out all she needs to, where food is, quantities etc and so when pet sitting commences we always feel very confident that she is sure she knows what they need.
