“Dawn is absolutely fabulous. So reliable and excellent at keeping me posted on how the dogs are. She's very patient with my nervous dog. I can't recommend her enough”

“Paddy and Claire got on from the get go. He had no hesitation in greeting her and getting to know her immediately at the Meet and Greet. Claire has such a nice way of greeting him when taking him out for a walk and Paddy is so happy to go with her. Claire keeps me fully informed where they have walked and who they have met and how Paddy has been responding. Paddy comes back happy every time. Claire has a great understanding of Paddy's communication and habits. I have no hesitation to let Paddy go for a walk with Claire and trust my Paddy in Claire's care from day 1, which is a good feeling”

About: Hi! I’m Danielle — a lifelong animal lover with two spoiled cats of my own, Barney and Maatjie. I’ve always been surrounded by animals and would absolutely love a dog, but I’m currently renovating my home, so dog ownership is on hold for now. In the meantime, I’d love to help care for your furry family members! I offer: • 🐶 Dog walks • 🏡 Drop-in visits for dogs and cats • 🌙 Overnight stays in your home • 🐱 Cat boarding in my safe, pet-friendly home I know how important it is to find someone you can trust with your pets — someone who will care for them like you would. I take that responsibility seriously and always make sure pets feel safe, loved, and well-looked after while you’re away. I work from home on my own creative business, which gives me a very flexible schedule and lots of time for pet care throughout the day. Whether it’s drop-in visits, boarding, or overnight stays, I can easily fit my routine around the needs of the pets I’m caring for. I’m used to planning my days around feeding times, play sessions, and cuddles with my own two cats — so giving other pets the same attention and consistency comes naturally to me. It’s a lovely balance, and honestly, spending time with animals is often the highlight of my day! When caring for your cats in my own home, I make sure they have a quiet, safe, and stress-free environment. I provide clean litter trays, fresh water, regular feeding, and plenty of enrichment — whether that’s playtime, brushing, or just a cozy lap and some cuddles, depending on what the cat prefers. I’m mindful to give new arrivals time and space to settle in at their own pace and always follow their routine as closely as possible. For drop-in visits or overnight stays at a pet owner’s home, I stick to the care instructions provided and aim to maintain the pet’s normal routine. I’ll feed, clean litter trays, give meds if needed, and spend quality time with your pet so they feel secure while you’re away. I’m respectful of your space, tidy up after myself, and always keep you updated with messages and photos so you can relax knowing your pet is in good hands.

About: Ten years ago, I swapped the hustle and bustle of London for the peaceful charm of Broadstairs and the beautiful Kent coast. Since then, I’ve embraced a slower, more nature-connected lifestyle, which I share with my partner, our ten-year-old Whippet and animal-loving daughter. Animals have always been a big part of my life. I’ve cared for pets since childhood, rabbits, budgies, cats, and dogs have all been beloved members of the family. In my early twenties, I became a proud owner of two wonderful cats: Milo, a now 18 year old half-Siamese with a cheeky, playful and vocal nature, and Coco, a very shy but sweet 14 year old tortoiseshell and white. Friends regularly rely on me to check in on, feed, play with, and care for their pets, whether it’s daily visits, dog walks, or house-sitting while they're away. I understand that every animal has their own personality and needs, and I always provide calm, attentive, and loving care as if they were my own. I currently work two days a week (on a varied schedule), which gives me plenty of time to care for your pets with attention and flexibility. I'm available for drop-in visits and dog walks most days, including late afternoons and early evenings. If you’re comfortable, my daughter may accompany me during some visits. This would always be discussed in advance and arranged based on your preference and my childcare availability. I understand that trusting someone new with your pet is a big decision. That’s why I’m happy to offer a meet-and-greet before any regular bookings so you and your pet feel completely comfortable. Dog Walking I’ll take your dog on fun, engaging walks tailored to their energy level and preferences—whether that’s a brisk outing through the park or a relaxed beach stroll. Walks are designed to provide plenty of exercise, mental stimulation, and, of course, lots of love and attention. Drop-In Visits If you’re at work or away for travel, I’ll stop by to check in on your pets, making sure they’re well-fed, comfortable, and content. Visits include playtime, affection, and any special care your pet may need to feel secure in your absence. Special Care & Medication I’m experienced and comfortable administering medications and caring for pets with special needs. Whether it’s giving pills, helping with mobility, or providing extra patience and comfort, I’ll treat your pet with the same care and attention I give my own.

About: I have always had both cats and dogs and occasionally fish. I have pet sit since I was a teenager, I worked at an animal shelter, and spent about a decade rescuing cats. Right now I am recently graduated from an MA program and looking for work in my field. So right now I have all the time in the world. I'm sorry I am not totally sure what to say here. You know your pet best so I will follow your lead. I will also spend time getting to know your pet. I respond to messages as quickly as I can. I take the responsibility of an animal's life very seriously.

“Absolute pleasure to meet Amanda.., highly recommend! 🙂 My Roxy was happy and content in Amanda’s company, very happy doggy after her hours walk Will be happy to use her services again. (Safe&Reliable) Dog walker 👩🏼🐶”

About: I’ve had my own cats for the past two years, and I’ve grown up in a family that’s always had both dogs and cats—so caring for animals has been second nature to me for as long as I can remember. Friends and family know they can count on me when they need someone trustworthy and attentive to care for their pets, whether it’s for a weekend or a longer trip. I treat every pet like my own, with lots of love, patience, and a genuine understanding of their needs. I work from home with a flexible schedule, which means I can work from just about anywhere—and I’m not tied to my desk all day. This gives me plenty of free time during the week to walk and care for your dog or drop in to give your cat the attention and love they deserve. My wife and I made the personal choice not to have children, and our pets truly are our family. They’re not just animals—they’re our companions, our joy, and a big part of our everyday lives. I care for them with the same love, attention, and responsibility that any parent would. When your pets are in my care, they’ll be treated with the same warmth, patience, and affection I give to my own.

About: Growing up on a farm in a small town in Slovenia i quickly learned how to interact with cats, dogs, cows, horses…i will forever favor horses but until i can have my own, dogs and cats will be my best friends. Cats are amazing when they decide to trust you enough to let you pet them but dogs need more focus as they can get too playful if you dont create boundaries, i found when interacting with either. So if its playing with a laser pointer to give the cat some exercise or playing with a dog and their toys, im here for it! I live for the routine, animals come before me, so when i am pet sitting for inlaws we feed the cats first and the dog, then we go explore the garden, fetch with the dog while two of the cats wrestle 😂. Dog walks are also part of our day: one or two, depending on how busy we are. Its important to show each animal you care about them and take notice when they want your attention. Id like to hear your rutine with you animal and provide a service as similar to it as possible, to give the animal a peace of mind and quality play or pets time. I dont mind doing some of my own exercises with dogs, just to keep their mind working or grooming or cleaning after them if need be!

About: Hello! I'm Amy. I live and work in Margate very close to Old Town and Main Sands. I love all animals but especially dogs and have a real soft spot for a senior pup. I have my own dog Ruby who lives with me half of the time (co-parenting every 6 weeks), when she is with me I am happy to do a meet and greet to make sure your dog gets on with her. She's a Frenchie and I know some dogs aren't so keen on the little bat pigs. If you have a nervous dog or one with mobility / health issues and you want to meet me first to make sure they are comfortable with me, I can definitely do this as well. My dog has mobility issues so I am comfortable with dogs that need a little extra tlc. I am a freelance creative and I work from home the majority of the time, which means I'm often available to after your dog at short notice. I live in a large 2 bedroom flat on the first floor, the building doesn't have a lift so your dog would need to be able to walk up and down stairs or be under 12kg so I'm able to carry them up and down (if disabled for example). Out the front is a large green (Hawley Square) for dogs that can't do long walks but like a little run around, 10 mins walk from Dane Park and 5 mins walk from the main sands. If needed I have a car which is fitted with a dog car seat suitable for medium size digs and also have a seatbelt attachment for larger dogs.

About: I’ve looked after and owned pets all my life -I’ve been surrounded by cats and dogs as I’ve grown up and could not love them more. Neighbours and friends have relied on me throughout the years, and I currently look after a dog on a weekly basis so am used to dog sitting! I’m currently working from home a minimum of 3 days a week so I’m always free to look after pets in the day! Happy to look after them in evenings and will walk regularly. Also available on weekends. I live on a very safe road and reside in a safe and comfortable flat, where your pet is welcome to have free reign of! The surrounding area also has plenty of dog parks!

About: I'm a lifetime dog lover who loves nothing more than walking some 4-legged friends. I'm very flexible during the weekdays and can come to you when needed. My wife's family have owned a German short haired pointer and currently own a VERY active cocker spaniel so I have experience walking varying sized dogs. I'm extremely kind and love nothing more than getting do know each dog's personalities :-) I'm work part time some evenings (mainly weekends) so I am extremely flexible to suit your needs for the Monday - Friday period. This means that I can work my schedule to suit you! I would love to spend as much time walking your dog as you'll allow me as it's one of my favourite things to do. I'm exclusively a dog walker and I can assure you that I will find a safe pre-planned route for any walks that I'm selected for. Just to note that I currently do not live with a dog and therefore do not provide any equipment of my own. However, there will be plenty of videos and photos I can send while out for walks so you'll never have to go too long without seeing your best friend.

About: Hello there, I am a Small dog specialist living the Margate area. I have been pet-sitting now for 8 years and love every minute of it. I started my service in Covent Garden In 2015 & have now moved down to the beautiful Kent Coast. I have a little house with a garden on a quiet street. I have a park about a minute walk away and the Beaches are 5 minutes away. my location is very handy if you are city bound for an airport, Ferry or Eurostar, or having a south coast holiday. I would like to add that doing this work has brought me so much joy over the last few years. I have moderate social anxiety that has prevented me from participating in things other people take for granted. walking and caring for dogs has given me the chance to appreciate being outside and not a day goes by that I am not grateful for all the little furries, dogs and cats, that I have been lucky enough to look after. Daycare is based on an 8 hour work day. Any additional hours will be charged at £4ph. Additionally, overnights are base on a 24hr stay with some flexibility. Any time spent iver the completion of your booking drop off will be charged at £4 but not beyond a day rate. Walk fee explained: I charge £15 for a half hour walk. This is due to being so central and through experience have found that 30 minutes is ample for a decent bit of exercise and fresh air, Particularly as a lot of my clients are small dogs. An hour walk can be arranged for £20 for more active doggos. Thank you for stopping by and taking the time to read my profile. If there is any further info you require please don’t hesitate to drop me a message. Due to clients relocation i am pleased to say that I have availability for new dogs. I am excited to welcome some new fur babies into the Kent Canine crew I will discuss with you thoroughly what you require from a care standpoint. I can incorporate training habits if needs be. I have a view to foster a loving and caring space for your pet. I am a student so I have the ability to give one to one care for your Pet. I have been doing this for some time and have a knack for helping your pooch feel at home and relaxed. I live on a very quiet street with a secure and fenced garden area.
