I am usually flexible but am ordinarily not available on Tuesdays or Sundays. I can accommodate those days by arrangement on an occasional basis. I am trustworthy and would provide pet care to a high standard. I would be mindful and respectful of your pet and your home during pet visits/collection.
“Priscille has recently started to walk our sensible and nervous dog. She has listen patiently to our instructions and done a fantastic job adjusting to his special needs. Communication has been excellent, we have been kept informed how they were doing on their walks which provided a big peace of mind. I have always found a happy and relaxed dog after Priscille came around, makes me super happy and looking forward to their next walks!”

About: I've got a 8-year old rescue cat and a 1.5-year old rescue dog. Both came traumatised and are quite anxious and shy and required a lot of patience to gain their trust. I will give your pets the level of care and respect I expect for mine. Shy pets particularly seem to like me but happy to cater to any temperament and any individual needs. I have been cat-sitting for 1.5 years now, with 50+ bookings, catering to social cats, shy cats and cats with medical needs. If you are new to Rover, use the code MELANJ68622 to get £15 off your first booking. I almost always work from home, and I do so flexibly, so I am very available to come and take care of your pet. I do not offer boarding for the wellbeing of my own two anxious pets. I will respect what your pet needs, whether that's lots of attention and play time or to be left alone. You'll get updates and pictures and I will follow any instructions, I'll even water the plants if you want me to :)

About: 🎁 New to Rover? You can use my promo code MELANC83945 to get £15 off your first booking with me. 🐾 Hello there! I’m Melanie - a young professional and Oxford graduate. I’ve always loved animals and it would be my pleasure to care for your pets. As I often work from home, I’m able to provide plenty of company, attention, and supervision throughout the day. I also have a small fenced garden for quick outdoor needs and easy access to lovely walking routes including South Park and Headington Hill Park, which are just around the corner. As I live with my partner, I’m best suited to dogs who are house-trained, settled overnight, and comfortable sleeping in their own bed or crate if needed. I’m also happy to adapt to pets with additional needs when discussed in advance, and I have experience caring for senior dogs such as administering medication and supporting mobility needs. Depending on the level of care required, pricing may vary slightly to ensure your pet receives the attention and dedicated care they deserve. Your pets will be treated with genuine care, patience, and lots of affection — I look forward to meeting them! 🐾 I mostly work from home, which means I’m available to settle pets in comfortably. I’m also typically home on weekends and enjoy going for walks, so your pet can benefit from both relaxed indoor time and outdoor exercise. 🐾 My home provides a safe and comfortable environment for your pet, with a securely fenced garden for quick outdoor needs and a spacious two-floor layout where they can roam and relax under supervision. I’m fortunate to live close to South Park, as well as another park right beside it, offering lovely, open spaces for calm and enjoyable walks. Above all, I prioritise creating a trusting, loving atmosphere - with plenty of cuddles, affection, and attentive care - while ensuring your dog gets the exercise and companionship they need (and I happily welcome the extra fresh air while working from home!). 🐾

About: I’m a dedicated and experienced pet sitter with over 5 years of hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs, as well as smaller pets. As the owner of two Ragdoll cats, I understand how important it is to find someone who will treat your pets with genuine care and attention! I’m confident managing a wide range of needs—from feeding, grooming, and litter box care to administering medication and providing calm, attentive companionship. I’ve also rescued and cared for a budgie, so I’m comfortable looking after birds and understand the extra care and patience they require. For dogs, I’m an avid runner and endurance athlete, so I’m happy to provide long walks or runs to keep high-energy dogs happy and well exercised. I always tailor my care to each pet’s personality, whether they’re playful, shy, or need a bit of extra support :) My goal is to make sure your pets feel safe, comfortable, and loved while you’re away—just like they would with you! I'm a researcher with a flexible schedule so happy to work with pet owners to agree on a schedule that works to provide the best care for your pet. I am centrally located in Oxford city centre and would be happy to make visits (multiple a day if needed) to addresses in the area, and also house sit when needed. I take pride in being communicative and will provide frequent updates, and double check any special care instructions to ensure I can provide the best care for your animal companion!
“Cora has been wonderful with our boisterous young German Shepherd. She is communicative, clearly loves animals, and makes his walks interesting and engaging. Highly recommend!”

“Communication was amazing throughout and Loreta was very thoughtful about the hot conditions, amending what was possible given the heat. I would have no hesitation in recommending Loreta and hopefully Kenny will see her again soon!”

About: I’ve taken care of a range of animals, from dogs and cats to Guinea pigs and gerbils for as long as I can remember. My experience ranges from pet-sitting for neighbours, being hired to train dogs and give them hydrotherapy, and walking a range of differently sized dogs, I’ve been surrounded by animals my entire life, and can provide a range of references. I’m currently a student at the University of Oxford, allowing me great flexibility for walking and pet-sitting at all times of day, all days a week. I can not offer dog sitting services in my own home as I am a university student so cannot host animals in my rented accommodation.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was 12, looking after my neighbours’ pets. I had a cocker spaniel for 8 years, who sadly passed away in 2023. I’m hoping to reconnect with canine friends who I can play with and take for walks. I have also done cat sitting, and am comfortable feeding cats and playing with them. I’m currently studying at law university so have a flexible timetable, available during the daytime and on weekends. I’m happy to fit pet care in around your schedule and mine. Since I had a dog, I am used to keeping an eye out for animals whilst they are under my care, ensuring that they are safe.

Camilla is a kind friendly person. The dogs took to her relaxed and firm approach immediately. I was very pleased to receive photos and comments every day so I knew where they had walked and how they had behaved. I would definitely use Camilla's services again.
Neville and I met Teresa and and her daughter Harper this morning. They were punctual and very easy to communicate with. Then, later in the day, Harper did another walk with Neville. It went on time as planned. She sent messages to keep me informed. The day was a big success. I will be using them again.

As soon as Molly saw Hollie she treated her like an old friend. We did our first walk together and second time Molly was very happy to go off with Hollie without looking back, which is unusual for her. Hollie is clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and responsible about their welfare.
