Experience with nervous rescue dogs
I had my own rescue dog for ten years. Unfortunately I was never quite sure what he had experienced before I got him, he was a very sensitive and anxious dog. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with nervous dogs and understand the patience and care they need. I’m patient, attentive, and always mindful of giving them the space they need to feel safe and settled. I am also insured outside of Rover. 🐾

I live right next to Cutteslowe Park which is an ideal area for dogs. I can also transport dogs in the backseat of my car (1 or 2 depending on size and if from the same household) which is kitted out for their comfort.

Hollie was brilliant with my 9-week-old Labrador and 13-year-old Basset Hound! She sent me pictures and videos of them having a lovely time, and she looked after them perfectly. She understands dogs and genuinely enjoys being with them... my two bonded with her straight away! She left the house immaculately, and I would have no hesitation in having her again.
Hollie took great care of our big older dog for nearly a week. He had some specific medical needs and she followed those wonderfully. She was also so considerate and tidy sitting him at our home. Thanks for taking such good care of him, Hollie!
As soon as Molly saw Hollie she treated her like an old friend. We did our first walk together and second time Molly was very happy to go off with Hollie without looking back, which is unusual for her. Hollie is clearly very knowledgeable about dogs and responsible about their welfare.
I have known Hollie for 15 years and she is lovely, kind natured, reliable and a responsible person to look after anyone’s dog. She previously volunteered at a dog shelter and ended up adopting one of the lovely dogs from there. I highly recommend Hollie to anyone looking for a dog walker or sitter. She will ensure your furry friend is looked after to the best standard.
I have used Hollie as my dog walker for a couple of months and I must say I am very impressed. We are a busy family who are out at work/school up to 4 days a week and Hollie can be relied upon to take "Jaffa" our lab on a walk and make sure he gets plenty of exercise through the day. Hollie is very reliable and an easy person to arrange dates/times with, I highly recommend her services to anyone who is looking for help with a pet she is awesome.
I have a toy poodle called Alfie, he is more like a human than dog! Hollie was excellent and really took the time to understand Alfie his needs and his quirky personality. I left Alfie for 10 days with Hollie when I went on holiday and honestly I think he was better looked after in those 10 days than when at home with me. I have no hesitation in recommending Hollie in this role I would definitely use her again.
