Experience with nervous rescue dogs
I had my own rescue dog for ten years. Unfortunately, I was never quite sure of what he had experienced before I adopted him and he was a very sensitive, anxious dog. Because of this, I’m very comfortable with nervous dogs, understanding the patience, consistency and care they need. I’m attentive and always mindful of giving dogs the time and space to feel safe, relaxed and settled around me. Building trust and understanding each individual personality is one of my favourite parts of meeting each dog. I am also DBS checked and fully insured outside of Rover. 🐾

I am very calm and try to bring this energy to each dog I meet. I will treat your home as if it is my own and tailor my approach to your dog(s). Each dog I meet is very different and it is genuinely therapeutic to me learning and adapting to what makes them feel most comfortable.

Hollie did a great job looking after our sometimes anxious collie Ted for us in our home while we were away. Ted adored her and we have come back to a very happy dog and a clean, tidy home. Hollie gave us regular updates and photos, was very responsive to messages and has handled Ted’s needs well. Hollie seems lovely and I would definitely book her again! Thank you Hollie for looking after Ted so well for us - you’re his new favourite auntie!
This was the first time using Rover and a sitter for our 2 dogs so obviously a little apprehensive but couldn't be happier with Hollie and how well she looked after both our dogs and home. We felt relaxed and at ease with Hollie’s calm, caring nature and being able to enjoy our break away knowing everything was taken care of at home was amazing. Hollie sent a good amount of photos and updates and seeing our 2 so happy and comfortable with her was a pleasure. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Hollie and will definitely be using her services again in the future.
Hollie completely alleviated any stress over leaving Toby for the day. Hearing they got on so well while knowing Toby is a lot of dog for some people makes it easy to plan the next time.
Hollie was great with our dog. Good communication throughout the weeks prior to her coming to stay, including a organising a meet and greet. Sent pictures during her stay and our dog looked happy and relaxed. House left very tidy, we will hope that hollie will be able to look after our dog again in the future.
Hollie was brilliant with my 9-week-old Labrador and 13-year-old Basset Hound! She sent me pictures and videos of them having a lovely time, and she looked after them perfectly. She understands dogs and genuinely enjoys being with them... my two bonded with her straight away! She left the house immaculately, and I would have no hesitation in having her again.
Hollie took great care of our big older dog for nearly a week. He had some specific medical needs and she followed those wonderfully. She was also so considerate and tidy sitting him at our home. Thanks for taking such good care of him, Hollie!

Schedule
I am happy to flex my schedule to ensure your dog’s comfort in his or her routine and can drive to you if needed. I do not double book and if I am sitting your dog, I will not be working. My attention will be with them fully.
