About: I’ve grown up with animals my whole life, and they’ve always been such an important part of who I am. My family currently has four dogs in Ecuador, all of whom I’ve helped raise and train, so I’m very comfortable understanding different personalities and knowing what each dog needs. I genuinely connect with animals and love spending time walking, running, and playing with them. Since moving to Oxford, I’ve really missed having my own dog, so pet sitting has been a wonderful way to stay close to animals. I’ve had plenty of experience dog sitting and walking, and I always treat every pet as if they were my own—with lots of care, attention, and affection. As a PhD student, I have a very flexible schedule and structure my days around focused work with regular breaks, which fits naturally with pet care. I often go on long walks or runs for mental health and fresh air, especially around Port Meadow and University Parks, so dogs get plenty of exercise and outdoor time. Given my desk-based research, I’m around throughout the day for feeding, company, and a calm presence, I’m just as happy reading or working with a cat curled up on my lap. Overall, I’m able to give pets consistent attention, routine, and care, rather than leaving them alone for long stretches. I always prioritise making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for, whether in my home or yours. I’m very attentive to routines and will closely follow your pet’s usual schedule, preferences, and any specific instructions. I live in a calm, pet-friendly home with a fenced garden, so there’s a safe outdoor space for supervised time and play. I don’t have any pets or children, which means I can fully focus on your pet and adapt the environment to suit their needs. I’m careful, reliable, and respectful of both your home and your pet’s wellbeing, and I’ll always keep you updated for peace of mind.
About: I used to have a senior whippet mix. He needed constant supervision and trips outside. Along with that he was cuddled constantly and told how good a boy he was. I’ve recently moved to the UK and looking for a part time job. Since my dog passed i have been in need of some dog energy. I live on a second floor flat in the center of Oxford. I’m near many parks and paths I can take your dog on walks.
“Rey and Suki had another 2 night stay with Angela and her family. I was sent photos and updates throughout, which made my weekend relaxing. They had many walks and I believe a lot of fuss. Thank you for having them 🐾🐾”

“Aliaksandra was a great host and made a great effort to accommodate all Tara's individual needs as she was on her season at the time. Tara was very well cared for, and very happy. She had regular walks and access to the garden. We were given regular photos and video updates. She is now our sitter of choice whenever we visit the area and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend”

“Claire could not have been more accommodating and gave me such confidence when leaving Mervyn - he was a very happy boy for his stay and i would highly recommend Claire and would not hesitate to leave Mervyn with her again”

“Friendly, communicative and caring. Perfect experience for us and our dogs. Can sent us some lovely photos and videos throughout our long weekend away. Our dogs seem to have bonded well with the family and their dog extremely well. We are very grateful!”

“Lovely couple with two lovely dogs who Greg was besotted with! They took loads of time to introduce the dogs, show us their home, and make sure we were comfortable with everything. We felt completely confident leaving Greg with Alyssa, as it was obvious how much they loved and cared for their own dogs. Got lots of cute videos and photos too!”

“Caroline is amazing! She took super good care of our cat for two weeks and sent updates everyday. It was our first time leaving our new kitty alone but Caroline put our minds at ease right away. We came home to a very happy cat! ”

“It’s the second time we’ve booked Akanksha, and we couldn’t be happier. Seeing both our cats greeting her every time they see her, asking for belly rubs and showing her so much love is amazing! Colin is a lovebug, but Lola always plays hard to get with new people. And it was surprisingly Lola the affectionate one this time! That speaks a lot about how good Akanksha is with them. Thank you so much ❤️”

“Qi is a wonderful and respectful cat nanny, as well as a gentle and faithful person who cares about your pet’s wellbeing. It was my first time leaving my Bengal cat alone, just about 3 months after adoption, and it went waaaaaay better than I could have imagined! Qi will adapt to your pet’s needs and find a way to every paw’s heart - she definitely found a way to my shy little leopard’s heart, which is a real treasure! I was able to fully relax while on holiday with my family, knowing that Alysa was well looked after. Qi is officially our cat nanny now!”

“This has been our longest block of cat sitting and it was clear WJ ifred had a lovely time and has got on so well with her and is super happy when she come Great peace of mind while we’re away and excellent photos too”

“I booked Ella for bi-weekly drop ins to for my sphynx kitten for a period of 8 weeks. Over the two months, Ella has been absolutely amazing throughout, is super reliable, and always locks the house up safely. I’ve had to swap a few days here and there and had to last minute ask if she could come and she never let me down, was always extremely kind and flexible. I would highly recommend Ella for any pet sitting needs and should I need a cat sitter again I would definitely put my trust in her :)”

“John was punctual, communicative and a great help to have around. He took lovely pictures of my cats, especially Surume, whom I am find tricky to take pictures of, since he is pitch black. John also watered my plants and I was really pleased to find all of them in good health! Thanks so much John!”

About: I grew up surrounded by cats and, as my mum likes to tease me, she once caught me eating from my grandma’s cat’s bowl when I was three or four years old. I’ve loved cats ever since and enjoy getting to know their unique personalities. My own cat is a gentle, rather shy rescue cat who has taught me a lot about patience, trust, and respecting a cat’s individual pace. Some cats will greet you at the door, while others prefer to watch from a safe distance first — and I am happy to let them take the lead. I also volunteered at an animal shelter in Germany, where I helped care for cats of different ages, temperaments, and backgrounds. Whether your cat loves attention or values their independence, I will make sure they feel safe, comfortable, and well cared for while you’re away.

“Marta is such an amazing soul.. She is very gentle and caring.. She gave us updates about my cat every day without missing a single day.. She was available for us to contact anytime.. Would definitely book her again if we needed to and also would definitely recommend her..😊”

“My cats loved Annika, her sweet temperament and her gentleness. She was very diligent, observant and helpful and did an amazing job in looking after them. They were really thrilled to see her when she visited them and had a lovely time with her. I couldn't recommend her enough for all the help she gave us and I will be contacting her for future bookings.”

“It’s not the first time we contacted Valentina, she is GREAT! On the first day of our holidays, our cat was already demanding belly-rubs from her… that says it all, Colin adores her! Our other cat is very reserved and doesn’t really like anyone but myself and my partner, and Valentina was sending us pictures playing with her and even petting her!! Going on holidays knowing Valentina is going to take care of our cats gives us both such a peace of mind.”

“Psyona is just wonderful. She is so friendly, very responsive and easy to communicate with. She provided daily updates and took great care of Zelda over Christmas :) will definitely book her again!”

“Elaine took good care of my boys and they seemed content and well looked after when I returned, which is what matters most to me. Communication was clear and reliable. I realised that I prefer slightly more frequent updates for reassurance, so I would request a few more next time – but that’s simply a preference I hadn’t needed to clarify before, as I’d received very frequent updates from previous sitters. The home was also left in good order. I’d happily book her again.”

“Charlotte is super-reliable, lovely to deal with and, most importantly, our cat loves her. We will definitely be using her again. In fact, we already have her booked in for our next trip. ”

About: I have owned and cared for multiple cats over the years, including my own as well as those of friends, family and neighbours. I am happy to handle litter trays and will give each cat as much play, attention, or space as they prefer ( I know some would rather be left alone). I am comfortable administering medication and carefully following any specific care instructions.

“She is great, Bori came back home and slept five hours straight which I took as a real fun hanging out with Amanda’s doggo during two walks. He looked like he had a good comfortable day.”

“Martha had a lovely day with Gabriela at her flat. We arranged a meet and greet a few days before, so Martha was comfortable going. I had text updates and photos throughout the day. I felt so at ease knowing she was in great hands while I was out of town. And she even came home with a new toy! We look forward to Doggy Day Care with Gabriela again soon.”

“This was the first time we had left Ruby with anyone and were a little nervous about the prospect but Tanja and Pepper were super welcoming and great hosts. Ruby clearly had lots of fun, and was so well looked after. Thank you Tanja”

“Peggy and I had a very positive experience with Lyann. Who was accomodating in looking after her fairly last minute. Great communication, thoughtful and kept me updated during the day with photos and videos of how she was getting on. Which was reassuring. Highly recommend Lyann's services.”

“Jade was so lovely, I had to book last minute and she was so great with Minnie. Minnie took to her straight away and wasn't bothered when I left her. I had photos and updates during the day. Minnie had the best couple of days. Highly recommend Jade, Minnie can't wait to go back! Thanks so much! xxx”

“Alison is a true gentlewoman who is kind, caring, and incredibly patient. She gained Luna's trust surprisingly quickly, which was especially reassuring as Luna is quite an anxious dog. It was clear that Alison genuinely cared about her wellbeing and made her feel safe and comfortable. I would highly recommend Alison to anyone looking for a trustworthy and compassionate dog sitter, and I would be more than happy to use her services again in the future.”

About: I have spent most of my life rescuing cats and dogs and finding them homes. Animals have always been a big part of my life and heart and I have always looked for opportunities to spend as much time in their presence. I am currently volunteering at a cats rescue as this brings me closer to the work I used to do growing up. I do however have a softer spot for dogs as they fill me with joy more than anything else in this world. I am currently a university student but only have class two days a week. Besides studying, I love spending my free time outside so walking dogs is the perfect way to keep me busy when I am not at university. I am unable to accept pets into my current space due to my renting contract, therefore I am only able to offer dog walking services
About: Dog obsessed and experienced with dogs of all temperaments. I’ve been walking dogs for over 16 years for clients, friends, and family, as well as volunteering at a dog rescue where I worked and trained with shy and reactive dogs. I’ve also owned a Romanian rescue dog for the past 5 years, which has given me hands on experience training in handling reactivity, building trust and understanding the full needs of a reactive dog. I'm currently working from home so my schedule is very flexible and can walk your dog whenever suits you and your furry friend. I am available Mon-Fri and most weekends. I have a fully fenced secure garden and live close to lots of lovely areas to walk and play. Love to go for long walks and go for some adventures!
“Thank you so much for looking after our crazy pups! We really appreciated the pictures and videos of them clearly having a great time, and they came home happy and well exercised. We felt very comfortable that both Avalo and our guest dog Mila were safe and happy here.”

“Maria looked after our dog Brian yesterday for the first time and we look forward to booking her again. He enjoyed pottering round her enclosed garden, and found a cool spot indoors to nap! He's a bit shy at first but she was patient and he gave her a goodbye lick : ) We appreciated the photos and updates, all round a positive.”

“Buckley was in the company of 3 other dogs. He didn't get on that well with one and the sitters said he was maybe too boisterous for their older, female dog. Buckley was really well looked after, fed and exercised. The sitters communicated well and I would recommend them to anyone in the Oxford area.”

“Amy kindly looked after Avs for us at the last minute, Avs clearly loved her and she put in lots of energy and care including a whole hour walk, as well us updating us with pics where she is clearly having a wonderful time. We would love to have her look after Avs again :)”

“Lisa did a fantastic job looking after my two dogs. She was reliable, caring, and clearly loves dogs. I felt completely at ease knowing they were in such good hands, and they both were very happy, and well cared for when I got back. Really appreciated the photo updates too.”

“We asked Laura and Ali for an hour walk of our dog Bella. The communication was quick and great. They seemed to know dogs very well and Ali comfortably walked Bella. He was super nice to her but also stern when she would wander to eat too much grass or random stuff in the field. They seem friendly and professional. I will definitely use their service again in the future. I absolutely recommend them to others. Madhuri”

About: I have looked after a few family dogs when they go on holiday. Friendly, trustworthy dog sitter happy to provide walks, playtime, cuddles, and regular updates of your dogs. I am currently in 2nd year of university studying midwifery. I am currently in 2nd year of university studying midwifery. I either work shifts in the hospital or am at university studying. On my days off I can commit my whole day to caring for your pets I have a fenced back garden and grass for your pets to run around in. I live close to a large park. I have no other pets living my house so your pets will have all of my attention

About: I love pets, mostly dogs as I have had dogs in my family. My dog is 18 years old!! She lives with my parents in Spain, and I really miss her... I have had then experience with my own dog and at different stages of her life. Also, my two aunts have dogs, and there are two dogs in my partner's family as well. I have also gone walking at least with four friends and their dogs. They are all different sizes, breeds, and ages, and I love every single one of them. They all had different personalities, and I was able to adapt by giving them more space, ensuring they were comfortable not facing other dogs, or being more affective when they requested it and playing and running with them. To be fair, creating this profile would not only help me finantially, but it would also give me love from your pet, which I miss having as I cannot have a pet of my own in my Oxford flat. Therefore, I would take care of your pet as if it was my own. I'm also experienced in not only playing, walking and feeding them, but also giving them medicine (e.g., my dog has epilepsy, so she takes medication three times per day). A few years ago, I also dog sitted a friend's dog, and I had to give him pills hidden in food as well. Moreover, my dog's paws were hurt and I had to treat them with chlorhexidine... and many more examples where she had the recovery collar or other small injuries. Lastly, as a peculiarity: I have been my own dog's hairdresser for her whole life! :) I'm also happy to look after cats, as I have lived in a houseshare where my housemate had a cat and I took care of her when the housemate went away some weekends. I'm a PhD student at Oxford University working on my thesis, without funding. Wondering whether I could get a part-time job, I decided to offer my help as dog or cat sitter. In regards schedule, I can adapt as I'm writing my thesis, but to make it easier for me to organise myself, I would prefer evenings from 5pm. I would be happy to talk about it if you and your pet need another organisation, as well as I'm happy to talk about changing prices if you want to book me for several days/weeks. I have a few days that I won't be available in Oxford during July (July 30th-August 4th) and August (August 16th or bank holiday weekend), but I can try and adapt the rest of the summer days. To be fair, creating this profile would not only help me finantially, but it would also give me love from your pet, which I miss having as I cannot have a pet of my own in my Oxford flat. Therefore, I would take care of your pet as if it was my own:) I cannot have pets in my flat, but I would be delighted to walk your pet (for different lengths, like 30min or an hour, or even 1.30h). In a typical visit or walk, I would ensure he/she runs as well during their walk (if age and heat allow it), plays with a toy (ball catching), and sniffes enough surroundings to cover her/his necessities. It all will depend on the dog's necessities, displayed by the owners. I am also happy to come to your house and play, clean or feed your dog or cat there! I know all dogs and cats need different things, so I'm very happy to adapt:)
“Camilla is a kind friendly person. The dogs took to her relaxed and firm approach immediately. I was very pleased to receive photos and comments every day so I knew where they had walked and how they had behaved. I would definitely use Camilla's services again.”

“Felt very confident to leave my dog Smudge with Valentina, she obviously has a agood comand with dogs and the energy to match my dog ! Will be booking Valentina again.”

“Priscille has recently started to walk our sensible and nervous dog. She has listen patiently to our instructions and done a fantastic job adjusting to his special needs. Communication has been excellent, we have been kept informed how they were doing on their walks which provided a big peace of mind. I have always found a happy and relaxed dog after Priscille came around, makes me super happy and looking forward to their next walks!”

“Communication was amazing throughout and Loreta was very thoughtful about the hot conditions, amending what was possible given the heat. I would have no hesitation in recommending Loreta and hopefully Kenny will see her again soon!”

I am currently a university student and have a schedule that is very flexible. Looking for a few hours in my day to help and bond with your animal.

“Lyann stepped in at very short notice, when another sitter was struggling with Buckley due to his barking and being a bit overactive. Rover helped to find an alternative. Lyann picked up Buckley from the other sitter and provided exemplary care for him over the next 24 hours. We received regular updates, photos and videos. Buckley was clearly very well cared for. I would unreservedly recommend Lyann and her family if you need help ; in fact, for any reason.”

About: I've had both dogs and cats my whole life, from tiny Pomeranians to a German Shepherd, so I'm comfortable caring for pets of all sizes and personalities. Since moving to the UK, I've also gained experience through BorrowMyDoggy, looking after some wonderful furry friends. Some of my favourite guests include Lola the Maltese, Winston the giant Goldendoodle, and Cooper, a darling three-toothed cat! ❤️ I don't have any children or pets of my own, so your pet will enjoy a calm, quiet home with plenty of love and affection. We also have an unfenced meadow just outside for short walks, sniffing, and the occasional zoomies! Your pet's safety is my top priority. I keep doors and windows secure during warmer weather and use fans to keep the house cool and comfortable. I'm always happy to arrange a meet-and-greet before a booking so you, and most importantly your pet, can get to know me and feel completely at ease. I absolutely adore animals and look forward to the opportunity to care for your pet as if they were my own. I can't wait to meet you both! I work full-time, splitting my week between the office (3 days) and working from home (2 days). When I'm caring for a furry guest, I'm happy to adjust my schedule so I can be home more often. On office days, I'm only a 15-minute cycle from home, and I also have a car if needed. My office is also dog-friendly, so with your permission and if it's the right fit for your pup, they may even be able to join me at work! I live in a comfortable two-bedroom townhouse, so there's space for pets who enjoy a quiet retreat as well as those who prefer to be by my side throughout the day. Weekends are usually relaxed. I enjoy spending time at home and taking leisurely walks around the neighbourhood, making it the perfect time for extra sniffs, cuddles and playtime! I don't have any children or pets of my own, so your pet will have my full attention during their stay. There is a lovely open meadow just outside my home that's perfect for short strolls and toilet breaks throughout the day. For your pet's safety, I will always keep them on a lead when we are outside unless you have specifically discussed another arrangement with me. I’m happy to take dogs for walks in the morning and evening before and after work, as well as offering a final toilet break before bedtime. I want your dog to feel as comfortable as possible while they’re away from home, so you’re welcome to bring their bed, blanket, or any familiar items that help them settle in. I’m very safety-conscious in my home and keep doors and windows securely closed so pets can relax safely. During warmer weather, I make sure they stay comfortable with fans and other cooling measures. In the unlikely event of an emergency, I have a car that I can use to transport your pet if needed.
“As soon as we met Simon and Bethany we knew they would look after Chazzie beautifully and they did. We felt completely happy with them and their two lovely labradors. They kindly stepped in at the last minute and we couldn't have asked for a better 'home from home' for Chazzie to go to. We were away for ten days, they sent us regular updates along with photographs and we could tell that he wasn't missing us at all! Thank you both very much, it was a joy for us to know he was in your care and we hope to book him again with you soon.”

About: I'm a qualified Veterinary Nurse with 7 years experience working in veterinary practice. I now work in a different field (sadly!) but get to work from home. I have my own Australian Shepherd who is 2 years old, she is very good-natured and loves chilling and playing with new doggy friends. I have a large garden for the dogs to play in as much as they want. Whilst I work they can spend time with me in the living room and kitchen. Walks are early morning, afternoon or evening based on your requirements. I live near a lovely park where I know many of the dog owners. The garden is fully secure and there is a baby gate on the kitchen so the dogs can be kept together or separate if needed. I have security cameras outside and inside the house, however your dog would never be left unattended without prior agreement. I only look after one dog at a time alongside my own.
“Anna sent me photos of Georgie each day on his walks and hanging out. Georgie loved his stay with her and got on fine with her own dog. I would absolutely recommend her as a dog sitter and will definitely book her again if she’s free :)”

“Viviana and her partner looked after our two sausage dogs amazingly for a weekend. They were clearly very happy! They have a lovely house with a garden and gave us great updates throughout the weekend. I would highly recommend her!”

“Tracy is incredibly attentive and loving. My dogs have had the best time with her (so much so that my baby girl didn’t want to come home with me the second time around!). Great communications and photos etc throughout the stay and very understanding of my situation with work. Highly recommended and I’ll hopefully be having my dogs stay with Tracy lots in future! Xx”
