I love dogs and I can't wait to help with yours!
I am an animal lover in general, and I have a particular soft spot for dogs. I already walk dogs for friends in my local area and it brings me so much joy, so I'm keen to meet even more dogs (and their owners!) by signing up for dog-sitting, drop-ins and even more walks. I live with my partner, Andrew, who is just as much of a dog-lover as I am. He also has over a decade of experience with dogs and we do house-sits together as long as the pet/house owner is happy with that. He is also very happy to do extra walks/drop-in visits on his own if I'm unavailable, as he is self-employed and is therefore more flexible than I am when it comes to daytime visits. I used to work for a conservation project which also rescued dogs, so I have a lot of experience with dogs of all temperaments, from very calm pets to traumatised rescues who need a bit more patience and understanding. We also rescued a couple of kittens while I worked there, and I've had pet cats in the past, so I would love to look after cats too. I have experience with all ages of dogs, from tiny puppies to the very elderly. I am more than happy to walk for miles or to do a quick stroll around the block - whatever is more appropriate to the dog in question! When it comes to house-sitting, I can also take care of house plants, gardens and other pets if needed. The more the merrier!

Lucy was a absolute star! Punctual, great communicator and Erik loved her to bits. I would very much recommend Lucy.
Lucy again stayed at our home taking care of our lurcher Gypsy for over a week. She send me photos every day and ensured doggy has a staycation. Our usually anxious dog was calm and happy, Lucy took her for a long walks in shade in the cool hours of the day during the heat wave, making sure Gypsy had her walks and sniffs while not overheating. The house was in as good shape as we left it, she even put the laundry on for the bed sheets and towels. We will continue to use her amazing house sitting offer when we travel. Highly recommend!

Schedule
I work partly from home and partly from an office in central Oxford. My partner works from home most of the time, so between us we can spend a lot of quality time with your dog. My office is dog-friendly so there is also scope to take your dog to work with me on the days I'm office-based (only if that's something they would enjoy, of course).
