About: I’ve had hands-on experience caring for pets my entire life. From caring for my own alpacas and horses, to dogs, cats and hamsters. While I haven’t worked as a professional dog sitter before, I’ve been responsible for feeding, walking, grooming, and training family pets for over 15 years. I’m confident, attentive, and passionate about animal welfare, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. I’m a full-time primary school teacher with a deep love for dogs and animals of all kinds. During school holidays, I have extra time to dedicate to dog walking and pet care—something I genuinely enjoy and find incredibly rewarding. Once term starts again, I’ll still be available for walks and visits in the late afternoons and evenings. I’m reliable, nurturing, and used to managing busy schedules with care and attention—qualities that carry over beautifully into pet care. For dog walks, I always ensure your best friend is safe, happy, and well-exercised. I stick to familiar routes or follow your preferred walking instructions, keeping a close eye on their comfort and surroundings. I always use their preferred lead or harness, avoid unsafe areas, and tailor the pace to your dog’s needs—whether they love a brisk trot or a gentle stroll. For drop-in visits, I make sure your dog feels relaxed and cared for in their own home. I follow feeding routines, refresh water bowls, offer playtime or cuddles, and clean up any messes. I’m happy to send photo updates so you know your pet is content while you’re away

“Our ex-racer, Bea, is very anxious outside the house and despises getting into cars however doesn't mind being left alone at home. When I had to go away for 4 days, having someone drop into her a few times in the day for toilet breaks, food & medications, and company was the perfect solution. I had never used Rover before. Laura and Tim were very quick to respond to my request and arranged to call over to meet Bea first. Bea had a wonderful time, I loved recieving the picture updates of her (predominantly snoozing and snuffling) and I felt relaxed knowing she was in safe hands! Thank you so much both.”

There's nothing quite like training and walking dogs—it brings such joy and is one of life's simple, peaceful pleasures. About: Hello! I am a Nottingham Trent University student raising money for Meningitis Research Foundation. I grew up with dogs (Jack Russell terriers, a golden lab, and a German pointer mix) and I was a dog walker for about a year many years ago. I am also a runner, so if you would prefer I take your dogs for a run, just let me know! I’d love to get to know you and your doggies :) I currently work part time at an art studio and am studying for my masters in fine arts at NTU, but my schooling is quite flexible and my work is less than 20 hours per week so I am able to find time around these responsibilities. For walks I care for the dogs by allowing them to stop and explore when they want and by bringing water and a small bowl for if they get thirsty on a longer walk. I also will take the dogs for a run if that is something you would like. For dog sitting I will let the pups out every couple hours or when they want, I will feed them when needed, fix them with clean water, take them for a walk at least once per day, and of course play with them and give them lots of pets

About: I'm a lifelong dog lover who's had labradors in the family for as long as I can remember. I’ve always been involved in their care, from daily walks to feeding time. As a teen, I began walking family friends' dogs of all sizes—from energetic pomeranians to speedy greyhounds! Recently, I've expanded into house and dog sitting via Trusted House Sitters, where I've had the pleasure of looking after pets while their owners are on holiday. Feel free to check out my profile and reviews there! I have plenty of experience with dogs of all ages, from energetic puppies (our family dog had 14 puppies during lockdown—talk about a handful!) to elder dogs who need a little extra care, like medication at specific times. I work remotely with a very flexible schedule so I’m happy to come to your home to pet sit or have them at mine. I’m always looking for an excuse to leave my desk whether they be to take the dog for a walk or just spend some quality time with them. When looking after dogs in my home or at the pet owner's home, I make sure they feel comfortable and cared for, just like they would with their family. I'm an avid walker, so your dog can look forward to plenty of walks and fresh air throughout the day—perfect for burning off that extra energy or just getting some exercise. Whether it's a quick trip around the block or a longer adventure, I’m happy to tailor walks to your dog’s needs. I also keep a tidy environment wherever I’m staying, making sure that your home is just as clean (if not cleaner!) as when you left. I respect your space and will make sure your pet feels at home, whether it's by sticking to their usual routine, giving them plenty of playtime, or offering those extra cuddles when needed. Your pet's happiness and well-being are my top priorities, and I’m here to make sure they enjoy their time with me as much as I enjoy spending time with them!

About: I have been taking care of dogs and other pets since before the age of 10. Aside from having dogs and a rabbit of my own, I have cared for other people’s dogs, cats, horses, rabbits, guinea pigs, turtles, you name it - Animal care has been close to my life and my heart since I can remember. A life goal of mine is to one day own a dog sanctuary, but for now I would love the opportunity to help take care of your doggy, with lots of love, tail wags, and safety. I am new to Rover, however I can asssure that you can trust me with your pet. I would love to have some new furry friends to take care of, and give them as happy a time as they would give to me. I have recently completed my teacher training (PGCE), and so currently I am off work until September, so I’ll have plenty of time to play with your pups! After summer, I will be working Monday-Friday, however I will still be available and work with Rover and your pets. I live in the centre of Nottingham and am close to lots of parks to take your dog on a fun adventure. I have a valid drivers licence and car, so I am happy to travel or to take your dog somewhere new and exciting, or to travel somewhere closer to you (or perhaps, if you like your dog walks off-leash, somewhere your dog would be safer to run around freely). We can plan a meet and greet or a video chat before I take care of your pet and get to know each other so you know your pet is in safe hands! “Wendy was very friendly throughout the process and looked after my pet with care and discretion whilst still keeping me updated on the visits.”

Lucy M.

“Lucy was great from start to finish. Super attentive, helpful and good at communicating. Can’t recommend her more! Thanks Lucy!”

Amber F.
“Amber was absolutely amazing with my cat and Rabbits (Tontu, Hilda, and Alfur)! She was happy to do pet chores (like cleaning litter trays, replacing hay, and creating enrichment activities for the rabbits), as well as making sure the house stayed clean and tidy from Tontu's (cat) hyperactivity and cat zoomies (knocking stuff off shelves, etc.) Both the rabbits and cat were comfortable with Amber from the get go, although Tontu likes anyone with treats”

Colleen O.Star Sitter

“Thanks,I’m glad he was a good boy for you”

Rosie J.
“I am Rosie's Father and can confirm that she has always had a true love for animals especially dogs and has demonstrated this by showing responsibility, caring, respect and affection for her them. Growing up she had many dogs ranging from Maltese terriers to Great Danes and everything in between. As a young girl she was brought up to be responsible for her pets and her routine consisted of looking after their needs before going to school and also first thing when she returned. I never needed to ask her to do this as she knew it was her priority, and undertook her tasks to the highest standards. When Rosie was at University studying to become a teacher she still continued to undertake her caring routine for her dogs and this remained for as long as they were here. As a Primary school teacher she has to be very organised, a good planner and very reliable combined with being a good example to small children through the values she demonstrates which include trust, respect honesty and patience. Her strong sense values combined with her love of dogs, I believe, make her ideal for this role and I'm confident that both Rosie and the dogs she cares for will absolutely love the experience. Paul J. JP”

Andreia G.
