About: I’ve grown up with dogs. As a family we’ve always had rescue dogs, so I have had experience with many different breeds, personalities and temperaments. I love all dog breeds and they seem to love me back 🙂 My work is flexible which enables me to look after your dog at a time to suit you. I live next to Abington Park and can offer dog walking dog sitting, drop in visits and overnight stays within a 3 mile radius of my home. I also like to meet a new dog and their owner first (free of charge) to help us all to get to know each other before your first booking. I’m confident with dogs and have looked after dogs for friends and family for most of my adult life. I have also had experience of working in kennels. You can confident that your dog will be well looked after and I’ll keep you updated with photos and texts when I’m looking after them My work is part time and very flexible, as I want to build my dog walking business. This means I can easily work round your dogs requirements. I will allocate time to the dogs, needs making sure they get daily exercise and are fed at their feeding time and any other pet care requests from the owner. I will also be respectable in the owners home.

About: We're an active family who adore the company of dogs. We miss our beloved rescue English Foxhound who accompanied us on long walks and runs. We have over 15 years experience as dog owners and sitters for friends and family. Our adult daughter Eden is also studying Animal Management and Welfare. We also have experience of caring for older dogs who've required regular medication and a slower pace of life. We're used to all shapes and sizes, we had our lovely English Foxhound Willow for 8 years; she was 38kg, and we now regularly sit for a lovely small terrier. We've cared for dogs from 2kg to 54kg, from a Chihuahua to an Akbash and Rottweiler! Pets are family and your pet would be treated as one of our own whilst with us. We can board or provide day care Friday through Sunday. We have a reasonably sized enclosed garden with high fences. We have 6 rooms we'd make available for your pet to make themselves at home in. We also live on the doorstep of Upton Country Park for lots of walks and runs on the lead. We're also happy to do meet and greets so you can pop and see us ahead of your pet staying

About: I am currently the dog owner to milo who is 3 years old and a cocker spaniel. I got milo as a puppy and toilet trained him as well as training him to recall, sit, paw and wait patiently for his food. I love the outdoors and being active so you can be rest assured your dog will be well walked and cared for. I have a fenced back garden and live opposite a country park as well as other great walks close by. Milo is great around other dogs and very friendly. Milo unfortunately has addison's disease for which he is medicated daily but leads a very healthy life and unlike most spaniels he is calm. I understand what it means to love and look after a dog and how precious they are. I am also have a valid DBS I am currently on materinity leave until October so I am available to dog sit, board or simply take your dog for a walk whenever you need. With having another dog I would ask for a meet up first to see how our dogs interact and that your dog is also okay with being around a baby and that you are also okay with that. I have a fenced garden with plenty of run around space. There are plenty of great walking spots close by. With having a cocker spaniel that needs a lot of attention I know how to care for a dog and understand and meet their needs.

About: I have about 5 years experience looking after my mother in-laws dog. He is a cross between a labrador and a husky, he was rescued from the streets of Romania, at 4 months old. I feed him, give him treats, I change his water, take him out for walks & I play with him. At the moment I'm available immediately to come & look after your furbabies, whether it's a visit or pet sitting overnight. I'm really looking forward to sharing my love for them all. I will only be able to visit your home, as I have 3 cats of my own. This way I can pay them more attention in your own home, or take them for walks if this is their normal routine.

Danielle was amazing from beginning to end. We were on holiday for two weeks and looking for someone to help my parents care for our energetic staffy. Danielle came to meet us all after replying promptly, listened to all the info about Pecan and immediately put myself and my partner at ease. Leaving your dog can be worrying and Pecan can be challenging as she is strong and mostly blind so needs someone who has experience, however we felt quickly confident that she would be in safe hands. Danielle showed not just kindness and confidence towards Pecan but a really knowledgable and professional approach to dog care and training. We had regular updates and lovely fun pictures whilst away, Pecan went on a variety of different walks and my parents said Danielle was always reliable and super professional. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Danielle to anyone looking for a dog walker/sitter and the only disappointment is that we live so far away and can’t make it a more regular situation!

About: Despite currently being unable to have a dog of my own, I’ve been walking and caring for others’ dogs for many years as I love spending time with them and find the whole experience very enjoyable, and a great excuse to discover new areas. My partner, Tom, often joins me on these adventures and he’s a dog lover too! I volunteered for two years at an animal sanctuary back home in Norfolk where there were a variety of dogs of numerous breeds and sizes, many who were reactive/had behavioural issues. As well as friends and family, I’ve also helped care for work colleagues’ dogs and those in my local area, covering many breeds such as Labradors, French Bulldogs, Cocker Spaniels, terriers, and an Akita to name just a few :) Besides walking, this has included: feeding, bathing, light grooming (brushing/filing nails) and administering medication I currently work full-time but work from home 3 days a week so am usually available all day/lunchtimes when I’m at home, as well as most evenings and weekends. I will always try to be as flexible as possible to accommodate differing needs. I’m more than happy to accommodate your dog’s current routine/preferences, and will discuss these with you prior to our first walk, e.g. no dogs/no off lead/loves to play fetch etc/can or can’t have treats etc

About: I have spent a significant portion of my life caring for animals. Since my mother is a breeder of dogs and cats, I have accumulated many years of experience with both. From assisting with newborn puppies to tending to aging cats, I've been involved in it all. I also have my own cherished fur baby named Lulu, a Persian cat who means everything to me. I understand the importance of trusting someone with your beloved pet. My responsibilities include cleaning litter boxes and administering medication. I currently have a job where i can choose my hours of work so can easily fit around you. I only ask to walk dog while it is light outside. I will feed your pet, change their water, play with them, clean the litter trays, give any necessary medication, and provide plenty of cuddles. Additionally, I will water your plants and ensure that your home remains safe and secure while you’re away.

About: With over 15 years of experience caring for dogs, I offer a warm, home-based environment where your pup will feel like part of the family. As a work-from-home mum of two (ages 6 & 10), I provide round-the-clock attention, plenty of companionship, and daily walks with my own dog, Rudy, a friendly 6-year-old mini dachshund who is in his element with other dogs. Whether your pup loves playtime, snuggles, or just a calm space to relax, I tailor care to their needs. Your furry friend will be in safe, loving hands! 🐾💛 My day revolves around a pup-friendly routine, ensuring plenty of attention and activity for your fur baby! Mornings start with the school run (8–9 AM), followed by a dog walk in the 118-acre park next door. I then work from home until 3 PM, meaning your pup will have company all day with plenty of wee breaks whenever needed. After the afternoon school run, there's time for more play, cuddles, and relaxation before the evening wind-down. On weekends, we love getting out in nature as much as possible, so dogs in our care can enjoy long walks in the woods and local parks with us, perfect for adventure-loving doggos! Your dog’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. My home features a fully fenced, secure garden for safe outdoor play, and inside, there’s plenty of space (including cosy sofas for snuggles!). I take regular walks in the park next door and tailor care to each dog’s needs, whether they love playtime, company, or a quiet spot to relax. With 15+ years of experience and a friendly resident dachshund, Rudy, your pup will be in a loving, home-from-home environment.

About: I’ve grown up always having at least one dog in the household and now could never imagine my life without a little furry friend. I currently live in a house with my partner and our dog Nala who is very sociable and friendly. We both love animals and are used to the responsibilities that come with caring for dogs. No dog is too big or small, we love all breeds and ages. My partner and I both work, however we have differing schedules which means, for the most part, at least one of us will be home with the dogs. In the case where neither of us are home, it’s only usually 2-4 hours where the dogs will be on their own. Our schedules do change weekly as neither of us work set days, so will therefore need some notice when booking to ensure we can provide exactly the right care that you would like for your dog. We have a good sized garden that is fully secure with brick walls. We can easily crate your dog if needed. We have spare dog beds already and have an extra large crate that can be used. We have no rules about dogs being upstairs or on furniture, our Nala has free rein of our home, as will your dog. Nala is used to sharing our home with other dogs as we have looked after family and friends dogs, and she has also stayed with others whilst we’ve been away. We will only accept dogs that will enjoy the company of Nala, however certain boundaries can be put in place if you feel it’s necessary, such as feeding time, bedtime and walks. Nala gets walked at least once a day, we live within walking distance to a large park and will also be able to drive to other fields/parks if your dog doesn’t mind travelling.

About: Hi, I'm Caitlin, a new sitter and I am a huge dog lover with over 14 years of experience caring for my own pups! Unfortunately my fur babies have reached the rainbow bridge now and so I have so much love and affection to give! Over the years, I've raised and looked after two of my own fur pups, as well as multiple friends/family pets, giving me firsthand experience in providing the love, attention, and care that all dogs need. I understand that every dog has their own unique personality and needs, and I will always tailor my care to fit their routine. Your pup will be treated like family, because that's what they deserve! I have experience with dogs at all sizes and ages, and I am also able to administer any oral medication that might be necessary (even if it’s hidden in a yummy treat!) I'd love to meet your fur baby and give them the best loving care possible. I work night shifts on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday, but I have plenty of time on my days off to provide attentive, loving care for your pups! My main availability is Tuesday-Thursday but still feel free to message if your inquiry is out of these days. I respect your fur baby’s space and will stick to their familiar routine, including feeding schedules, walks, playtime, and any special care instructions you usually provide. I live on a ground floor flat with my partner that has direct access to the outdoors, so potty breaks will be no issue!

About: I’ve always had a deep love for dogs, which led me to gain hands-on experience in a variety of dog-related roles. I’ve worked in a rehoming centre, with Guide Dogs, a Pet Store and at a dog groomer’s, all of which gave me a strong understanding of dog behaviour, body language, and individual needs. I also completed a Level 2 Animal Management course, which supported my general animal care knowledge. These experiences have helped me feel confident working with dogs of all breeds and most temperaments. I’m passionate about making sure every dog enjoys a safe, stimulating walk 🐾 Caring for animals has always been a natural part of my life. From a young age, I’ve surrounded myself with pets and found genuine joy in looking after them. Over time, that passion grew into a lifestyle—whether it’s making time for long walks, learning more about dog behaviour, or helping friends and family with their pets. Pet care isn’t just a job for me—it’s something that fits seamlessly into my everyday routine and brings a real sense of purpose. I love building bonds with the dogs I care for and making sure they feel happy, safe and well exercised 🐕 I understand how important it is to trust someone who’s entering your home and caring for your dog. That’s why I take every step to give owners complete peace of mind. I’m fully insured and DBS checked so you can feel confident that your home and pet are in safe, responsible hands. I treat every home with the same care and respect as my own, always locking up securely and following any instructions you leave. Trust is at the heart of what I do and I’m always happy to meet beforehand to help you feel completely comfortable.

Katherine had a great repour with my two Beagles which are known to be a handful at times and she followed the dogs schedule which helped reduce anxiety for the dogs while we were away .She played with them and gave all the cuddles they wanted ,sending us regular updates to put our minds at ease too. She has also cared for our cats on several occasions completing two visits a day. Ensuring the litter trays were regularly cleaned and swept up the loose litter so the house was still fresh when we got home. She is my go to pet sitter and I like that you can choose your sitter on the Rover site .No request was to silly . She is local , reliable and has great availability.

Katie has looked after my beddlington terrier Finn on a number of occasions and has always been fantastic. She walks him twice a week and he's so excited that he waits at the door for her arrival. On occasions where I've had to travel for work Katie has dogsat Finn and has always been amazing. I'm actually getting worried that Finn likes her more than me!

She was absolutely amazing—responsible, kind, and incredibly attentive. From the moment they met, it was clear that she had a natural connection with my dog. She kept him happy, active, and well cared for, and I was consistently reassured with regular updates and photos. It was such a relief knowing he was in good hands. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend her to anyone in need of a trustworthy and caring pet sitter. She truly went above and beyond.

When Beth came to take our daft doodle for a walk, Brown Dog's tail could whip up a bowl of cream she was always so excited to see her. She knew she was in for a good walk! On her return, she was slow and clearly longing for a nap on her bed. Beth has a great rapport with animals and is a brilliant dog walker who not only plays and gives cuddles, but is sensitive to a dog's individual needs. Ours was a bit reactive around other dogs but Beth would carefully consider whether an introduction was possible or just carry on walking. Beth was a huge part of our dog's life for years, until she went over the rainbow bridge.
