Our Greyhound had a wonderful week spending the day with Cat whilst we were out exploring. Normally he's a bit anxious on a holiday but he settled very quickly, was eating and excited to be dropped off in the mornings. Cat was quick to respond to messages and able to be flexible around drop off and pick up time. We would 100% book him in with Cat again, and have no hesitation recommending them.

About: I've had dogs all of my life, currently with a 12 year old German Shepherd, Dexter who is still a puppy at heart and very friendly with other dogs. Every day, Dexter is walked at least twice per day for a good couple of miles and has a garden to stay in, 1 fenced and 1 unfenced. I have a fenced garden and a dog to keep your dog company, I will accommodate any requests you have, Dexter is allowed on furniture and beds so that is not an issue, but any special requests can be accommodated!

About: I grew up in a home full of pets and I have many happy memories of our boxer dogs, cats, tortoises, guineapigs. In my twenties when I had my first house I’ve owned cats and know only too well how precious their time is with us. Whilst I don’t have a dog of my own I regularly look after my two daughters schnauzer and crossbred pug shitzu. I love long walks with lots of sniffs. I retired early at 57 and work 12 hrs a week in a nursing home looking after residents with complex medical needs. I’m really flexible on hours and have a car which I’m happy to use to transport In my own home I have a secure fenced off garden with decking for catching any warm sunshine and planting for lots of sniffs. I own a tortoise but I always make sure he’s safely away in his heated house before the dogs go in the garden.

About: Hi, I’m Lewis 👋 I’m a big animal lover and I’m looking to help you and your pup out in any way that I can. I recently lost my beloved cavalier after 16 brilliant years. So I’m looking to get back to looking after some furry friends! I work as a primary teacher so will only set my availability for school holidays and select weekends. This ensures that your pup has 100% of my care and attention all of the time that they spend with me. I love hosting doggies of various breeds. I enjoy the company of young and elderly dogs too🐶 First Aid certified ✅ DBS checked ✅ I'm offering:
 1. day care: I will only agree to host a max of 2 doggies at a time but I’m more than happy to accept only 1 if that works best for you and your dog 😊.
During day care, furry friends can expect lots of walks and play along with lots of treats!
 2. Boarding: I will only accept 1 dog at a time so I can spend quality time with them and create a nice bond.
During school holiday day care/boarding doggies should also expect really nice and long walks by the nearby parks but also day trips (always with the owner’s permission)
 * Always happy to meet & greet before a booking too My availability is subject to the school term times and certain weekends where I know that I can give your doggy all of my time and attention. I have a spacious home with a good sized back garden (currently unfenced) and will always adhere to any and all requests that you might have.

About: Hello! My name is Amy! I have always had family dogs and have my own baby (a beagle called Walnut 🐶) who stays with me every other week. I live on the seafront and love long walks on the beach with Walnut and my boyfriend Ben! I am also my friends/familys first choice cat sitter whenever they go on holidays sometimes taking caring of their cats for up to 2 weeks either staying at theirs or just nipping in a couple of times a day to check on them! 🐈‍⬛ My job is currently completely remote Mon-Fri so I am on hand to do lunchtime walks and midday check ins. I also have my own car so travelling a little bit further is not a problem 🚙 I live in an upstairs flat with access to an enclosed yard. I am close to the beach and lots of grassy walks also if that’s preferred! As I help my boyfriend Ben take care of dogs I have gained experience in preparing special food and administering medication so I am more than comfortable doing this if needed. 🩵 Drop me a message if you have any questions! But be assured if you let me look after your pets I’ll fall in love with them right away! 🥰 I work completely remotely so can carry out dog walks and drop in visits on my lunch or before and after work easily and also provide day care! I live in an upstairs flat with an enclosed yard. I have an hour lunch break and can take time when needed for toilet breaks 🐶. Dogs are of course allowed on my sofa for cuddles and I am always out walking on my lunch break!

About: Having had dogs in my family from an early age I found it easy to start a few years ago with a dog walking, and dog sitting, service mainly for friends and relatives. I continued through lockdown and whilst working from home enjoyed having a few friends for our family pet Chester. Our 9 year old labradoodle is gentle and well behaved and has be neutered. He used to spend his days with our beautiful Labrador Oscar baking in the back garden and enjoying long walks on the beach and areas nearby. After Oscar sadly left us at the ripe old age of 13 Chester was a little lonely and seemed to perk up each time we had doggy guests. I am hoping we can continue our dog sitting and look to welcome more dogs into our home and/or overnight. I am currently working from home so your pet will rarely be home alone and in a home full of dog lovers we aim to fit in with your pets needs We have a number of fields close and the beaches nearby Our dog’s love the outdoors and whilst we have an enclosed back yard we prefer our own and boarders to enjoy the yard but not to poop in it .. walking up to 3 times a day from a quick grass visit to a full on fetch and excercise in the field behind me out home or a short drive to the beach We love pets and your pet is individual to us with feedback from yourself we aim to make your pet feel welcome, secure and happy

About: Cat sitting + Clinical researcher - Newcastle upon Tyne, around Newcastle upon Tyne city centre till Howdon/Wallsend, UK Cats have been a part of my life since I was 11 years old, and my love for them has only grown over the years. Since moving to Newcastle, UK, I’ve helped friends care for their cats, and in 2017, I adopted my own beloved black cat who has been my loyal companion ever since. Through my experience, I’ve encountered & managed a diverse range of cat care situations, including: ✔ Feeding difficulties & picky eaters ✔ Managing constipation & digestive issues ✔ Post-surgery aftercare & recovery support ✔ Providing comfort, cuddles & companionship Cats are more than just pets to me, they are a fundamental part of my life... As a devoted cat lover, I understand their behaviours, emotions & needs. Being a cat sitter isn’t purely a job; it’s a passion... With a genuine heart for feline care, I am committed to ensuring every cat feels safe, comfortable & well cared for in my presence. As a dedicated cat sitter, I understand that every cat has a unique personality & their comfort, health is my top priority... Some cats are independent, while others need extra attention & reassurance - especially when faced with a new person. I take the time to build trust, ensuring each cat feels relaxed & at ease in my care. 🐾Tailored Care for Every Cat🐾 Clear communication with owners is essential to providing the best possible care. Whether your cat needs feeding, fresh water replenishment litter box maintenance, cuddles, grooming, medication administration (including injections), or close observation, I will follow your instructions carefully, thoroughly & attentively. Each visit usually lasts between 30 to 60 minutes, depending on your requests & your cat’s needs. 🐾Reliable & Transparent Service🐾 To give you peace of mind while you're away, I can send regular photos and videos - as many as you’d like! You can always stay updated & reassured about your cat’s well-being. 🐾Flexible & Trustworthy🐾 I am a permanent resident of Newcastle upon Tyne with a clear DBS check, ensuring reliability & trustworthiness. I am always open to learning and adapting to your cat’s specific needs. Any special requests, let’s discuss them...I’ll do my best to accommodate. Price is negotiable depending on travel time, requested timing & specific needs!!! Your cat’s happiness & well-being are my top priority. I’m here to provide loving, professional care. Let’s chat about how I can help... It depends. There will be a discussion with clients. Sometimes I work remotely, sometimes I am not. There will be the timetable for me in advance for clients to check prior to their decision to contact me. Alternatively, please contact me by email directly. We will schedule a meeting for the pet care. I am happy to cover all the areas in Newcastle upon Tyne. Different cat has different personality and behaviour towards loneliness and facing a stranger, even different attitudes towards female and male. Communicating with cat owners is also quite important to know how to take care of their cats and how to max my help. I hope every cat is the most comfortable around me. As long as owners tell me in brief or detail what treatments and services you need from me, I will let you know if I can do it or not, I will try and learn as much as I can to provide my service based on your cats' needs as my responsibility. By following the owner's instruction, I spend 30 - 40 mins/each visit with cats who need daily feeding, cuddling, combing, medication administration or/and injections and observation. Photos & videos are available to send to owners as needed.

Bonnie stayed with Kate and her family for a day and everybody was excellent with her. Bonnie can be a little nervous around new dogs, and Kate and her husband were excellent in letting Bonnie meet their retriever and another labrador staying before the day, then during the day gave Bonnie time to settle in and slowly start to spend time with the other dogs. Got updates during the day and I think Bonnie had a great time with lots of cuddles!

Tracy has pet sat for us a few of times now. She has walked our old dog but also provided daily assistance for our 'special needs' cat, dishing up her prescription foods and medication, cleaning the litter tray and provided company. She pet sat like this for a week when we went away and popped in 3 times a day for walks, wees, company and food. Handy She isn't too far away in Whitley Bay and has proved herself trustworthy and reliable. Our dog has been really happy to see her so I think her walkies must be enjoyable! Thank you for being there for us, highly recommended.

Lewis adores animals. He got a cat aged 7 and he loves her to bits she's still around at age 19. Lewis's grandma had a king Charles spaniel when Lewis was 10....he loved to play with her and when he was older would take her out for walks to the park or on the beach. Lewis is a very caring person and is trustworthy and he would love to care for pets.

Kate looked after buster (Staffy) afew times now. He was well looked after and walked often. Kate has a large garden that is great for any dog. Buster was always happy to see Kate and I would definitely recommend her to look after my or anyone's dog. She is a lovely caring person.

About: I had a border collie/lakeland terrier growing up and have cared for and walked many different natured dogs. Priority is understanding their personality and temperament, likes dislikes and their favourite things :) We will enjoy nature trails, safe beach spots, parks and walks round the block. Registered with dog trainer so can train also if required :) Have cared for senior dogs and can have peaceful walks, rests in the shade with plenty water, tasty treats and lots of TLC. Currently caring for and training a 10 month Chihuahua Terrier who gets on well with all dogs. I am currently working part time so I have time to play and train your pup, give TLC and leisurely walks to your senior dog. I will get to know your dog and happy to take them to local parks and beaches :) Window open if warm, plenty water and food, music to their taste, comfort and toys. Cuddles and play. Can train if required. Bonding time. TLC

Abbey is great with our puppy Oscar. He gets very excited when he sees her. She keeps him busy with walks and play. He loves a nice chill too when he’s tired.
