About: Key details... I provide daycare and overnight stays of any duration for your dog(s) in my home, dog walking and I offer a drop in service to whatever animals you have in your own home. Note: For boarding in my own home, my own dog Bonzo (7 year old very friendly lurcher) and my children will be here 80% of the time. I have owned a variety of pets (dogs, cats, donkeys, chickens, tropical fish, stick insects(!), bearded dragon), with varying degrees of special needs, either social or health problems both acute and chronic. I'm well used to medication administration and like to have a daily thorough lump and bump check pets in my care. I know what to look out for with nutrional intake changes (whether it's due to change of routine, weather changes, potential illness). I'm confident to make the judgement call whether you're pet needs a vet consulation if I'm unable to get I touch with you to discuss next steps. I own an SUV with a big boot fitted with a dog guard for safe travel of pups to dog walks/vets as required. Dogs can also travel in a seat belt secured harness in the main cabin if that's what they are used to. I am a home owner in Lincoln and host housesitters at my own home to care for 7 year old Bonzo the Lurcher so I understand how important it is that you feel confident that someone is taking excellent care of your pets. I'd expect to give you regular updates on how things are going, and send photos and videos of your fur family's antics and adventures if you wish. About me... I've been known to all of a sudden to be the owner of extra pets as I can't say no to those in need! My ex-husband still tells the story of when he got home from work one day and I handed him a carrot and said to go look in the (used as his tool shed) stable. He found his tools had been evicted and instead 2 rescue donkeys were in situ! I got my current dog in a similar situation... I picked the kids up from school one day and had 3 instead of 2 dogs in the car. They asked who Dog #3 was, and I replied that I brought him home from work as he needed a home. They didn't seem too surprised... they'd heard the donkey story a few times! I have a tonne of life experience and have worked in a variety of jobs including the armed forces, as a registered nurse in the NHS, and remotely as a Ops Coordinator (problem solving Jill of all trades!) for a Canadian Non Profit Cooperative. I'm good in an emergency, problem solve outside of the box, can think on my feet, and I like to think I'm generally an all round good egg! I hug my 12yo & 14yo animal mad sons each morning as I send them off to school with parting words of 'Be kind and have fun'. It's a pretty good motto to plan your day around so I hope I reflect that attitude when caring for your pets. I don't think I've come across an animal or creature I've not liked. Any species, any breed, they all have a wonderful uniqueness that I enjoy getting to know. I work part time from home and with my own dog at home I'm on 24 hour pet care duty. My animal loving boys (12yo & 14yo) are also often on hand to snuggle and play with your dog(s). My boys have been taught from being toddlers the varying aspects of animal care... not only feeding and toileting, but safety measures to take around animals in the home and while out walking, as well as being taught dog behaviour basics to recognise a dogs needs and wants through body language and behaviour. We live in a large 4 bedroomed house with a 6' fenced garden with 2 locked gates between the back garden and driveway. There's lots of places and snug spots for your dog to take naps... either with my dog or in a more solitary space of they prefer. There's couches and dog beds throughout downstairs and on the landing. A favourite spot is on the dog bed in the conservatory. A cold tile floor but with the warm sun on their back seems to be the no. 1 choice! I generally feed visiting dogs seperately to my own and its easy to facility this by having a separate utility room and covered outdoor area to suit all needs.

We was let down previously by another walker & Lorena with very little notice was able to step in and help us 😊 Her fast communication and post walk / visit updates are great & we can highly recommend her services to anyone in the area. About: A former veterinarian now clinical animal behaviour student at the University of Lincoln with 10+ years of pet care experience across multiple species. Experience with petsitting and providing medical care to animals before the start of my veterinary career then moved to a dedicated veterinary practice for the last 8 years. I love being around animals and just watching and caring for them brings me so much joy! Since I have started my education here I have started to understand them even more and this aids my motivation to be a pet sitter as I feel like with my experience and knowledge I would make the experience for the pet wholesome and pleasurable and this in turn would help pet owners to be at easy that their pet is in good hands. I consider myself friendly, open and honest when it comes to my interactions with the pet owners and believe it is important to keep clear communication between us while also making sure they get timely updates and pictures of their pets. I understand this even more as I myself have had pets all through my life and even seeing a photo of them can bring me so much joy. Currently, I own 2 senior dogs, 1 rabbit and a newt back home but in the past I have also owned cats, guinea pigs, hamsters, fishes and birds. As I stay on campus, I cannot keep animals in my accomodation so would be looking to exclusively pet sit through overnight stays or drop-in visits. Through the month of July I will be conducting research for my thesis which would involve me being unavailable from 11am - 1pm on weekdays for the whole month. My lecture time has now been completed so I can take requests on all days of the week however I am beginning my data collection for my research project during the month of July. I can provide overnight stays on all days. Drop in visits through the day except 11am - 1pm on weekdays. Weekends I'm available through the day. As I stay on campus I cannot bring pets in my accomodation. At a pet owner's home I can follow any practices the pet is used to whether it is being left in a crate or a specific area of the house before I leave. I can also provide medical care and follow routine and specific medical instructions if needed. I also accommodate requests for watering plants and any other specific house care instructions if within my capacity. I am adaptable and resourceful with my methods and would make any experience for the pet a positive one with keeping comfort and happiness as a priority. I also find it very important that the pet's routine should be as similar to what the owner's would normally do if they were home making it minimally stressful for the pet.

About: I’ve grown up surrounded by animals my whole life and have always cared deeply for them, ensuring that they are at their most comfortable. As I’ve gotten older I have been given both educational and professional experience working with all types of animals and learning about their care for the past 3 years. As I work part-time in cat and dog boarding at a kennels and cattery, I have had experience working with animals of all sizes, ages, and temperaments. I am working part-time at the moment, primarily working in the late afternoon meaning that I am available for most days of the week. My availability will increase over the summer months due to the summer holiday break from college. As I have experience working with a variety of dogs and cats , I am easily adaptable and can follow any guidelines set by the pets owners, no matter how complex. As well as this, due to my experience with both older pets and younger ones, I can make sure to cater the care for each animal individually.

About: Hi all, My name is Raquel and I am studying canine behaviour, as well as working as an assistant Canine Behaviourist at Fern Ember Dog Behaviourist. I previously worked as a dog walker during my time as a student, specialising in high-energetic dogs, tailoring walks to their needs and combining running sessions with enrichment activities. I owned different breeds and temperaments, from puppies to adults and seniors, including reactive dogs. Furthermore, I am comfortable with big boisterous dogs, small fearful dogs or socially anxious dogs. All of them deserve to enjoy a caring space with free of judgement where their only concern is about how much fun and care will receive. I have full availability and can take care of your canine companions. I own my home and I only share it with my two-years-old staffy cross, Freya. We are big adventure explorers and love finding muddy walks, climbing, swimming, running and jumping obstacles. I completely understand how nerve-racking it is to leave your dog with a stranger, either for an hour or a night. For this reason, my approach would always be to include a free of charge meet and greet with the dog parents, take a walk in the area together and discuss all your concerns. My priority is for your dog and yourself to feel relaxed and trust that your dog is in good hands. Additionally, I am fully insured and DBS checked. I have a fenced garden with lovely views to the dog park. My dog, Freya, and I are less than 10 minutes to the common, and we are ready for an adventure, as mentioned. If your dog is staying a night, we will need to prearrange a meeting with my dog, Freya and trial night to understand if your dog feels comfortable and wants social interactions. If booking my services as a dog-walker, I will take your dog individually if requested.

About: I’m a true dog lover, if there is a party I’m the first to sit with a dog and have a comfortable chat, and pat. I was very fortunate to have 17 years with my first baby, a miniature schnauzer, who I adored. The last 5 years of his life required a lot of extra care due to heart problems, and extreme sensitivity to most food. That being said, I’m good at giving medication, and have the extra patience and perseverance to make sure the dog has his proper medication in a calm, loving way. Before my dog was poorly, he was a high energetic gentleman, who loved his 3-4 walks a day. I through enjoy a pets company and like them to feel comfortable, and pampered when in my care. I am the first to volunteer to furbaby sit if any of my friends are going away, and have asked friends if I could borrow their dogs for a nice walk. I’m currently a home maker with two young children in their first years of school. This gives me extra time in the day to take a leisurely walk, or have some quality time with a pet. I have a small high stoned wall garden with a patch of grass, and I always walk with a lead when on public pathways, usually in quiet neighbourhoods, or public parks.

About: I have several years of experience in kennel/rescue environments and have been the go to carer/ trainer and walker for friends and family since I was 11. I specialise in dog training, specially that of service animals so am happy to work on problem behaviours during my time with your pet. You'll receive plenty of photos whilst they're in my care as I know how nerve-wracking it can be to leave your pet with someone else. I'm currently at university so I have most days completely free, just with assignments to work on. If I have classes during the care period I won't be out for longer than 5 hours of the day. Your pet will receive 1 on 1 care and all the cuddles they can manage. When in my care all pets will stay on leash when on walks to ensure their safety, you'll receive a daily dairy with plenty of pics of their daily activities to help you relax.

About: I’ve grown up with all kinds of animals, but dogs are my absolute favourite. I have taken care of my own dogs, but friends and neighbours also rely on me to take care of their pets. I always make sure to account for the needs of the pets in my care, whether they need a walk, a bathroom break, or a tummy rub. I also have a supportive family that also loves dogs. The dogs in my care have a totally supportive environment. Pets in my care always have priority. I will only agree to take care of dogs if I know that I can put them first. I have a fenced garden and a supportive family. Dogs will have access to most of the house - wherever they feel most comfortable. It is a non-smoking house. The stairs can be dog-proofed if required.

About: Not only do I have lots of experience looking after my family friends and neighbours pets, but I have also grown up with dogs in my family, both rescue and, most recently a puppy! Being on my gap year last year and my parents working meant I was the main person responsible for walking, feeding, and training him (and i loved every second of it!) I have just finished my first year of Uni, and have a long summer ahead of me, so I will have plenty of time to take care of your gorgeous pups! I will be available every day of the week including weekends ☺️ I find it very easy to stick to the instructions given by owners and, with having my own dogs growing up, I can definitely appreciate the different routines and habits and will ensure I adapt to those accordingly! With my overall love of pets it means I am very attentive and will ensure your pups are taken care of. There is also plenty of green spaces near me that my own dog loves to walk through every day

About: I grew up with a Miniature Poodle who I doted on until he was a senior dog. Since, I have had a big dog spaced hole in my heart so regularly look after my friends puppies and dogs when they are on holiday or weekends away. I treat all dogs as they are my own and nothing is ever too much. I get great joy from taking long walks with dogs, followed by a rewarding bath and treat. Your dog will be spoilt with affection. I work full time hybridly so have availability to look after your dog in the week when WFH, where they will get plenty of attention, a big walk and lots of play time. I am flexible on weekends with overnight boarding. I have a non fenced garden but when looking after dogs I take them out regularly on their leads for the toilet. My flat is fully puppy and dog safe with plenty of treats ready for your fur baby!!

About: With over five years experience owning my own dogs and three years of hands-on experience caring for others dogs of all breeds and temperaments, I bring a rare combination of skill, patience, and genuine love for animals. Having owned both a Great Dane and fostered a Belgian Malinois, I’m well-versed in meeting the needs of both gentle giants and high-energy working breeds. I have successfully trained three puppies, including Collies, Cocker Spaniel and a Dachshund X Terrier from scratch, giving me a deep understanding of canine behaviour, learning styles, and positive reinforcement techniques. My background allows me to handle everything from playful pups to strong, spirited dogs with confidence and care. More than just a sitter, I provide a safe, structured, and loving environment that helps every dog feel right at home. I work a typical 9am - 5pm, Monday to Friday office job, where I have flexibility to work from home. My partner and I have three dogs ourselves so understand how difficult it can be to source care when you go away, especially care you trust. I am home most weekends so would like to be able to offer this to service to others. I have a 6ft fenced, fully secure small garden, with a dog flap in the back door, allowing dogs access to the garden at all times. This is along side a three bedroom house, where I allow dogs to have access to every room. We have an extra large crate which can be used if needed, as well as multiple dog beds around the house. My dogs are my fur-babies, so although my husband and myself are the top dogs of the house, they are very much spoilt. I am happy to follow rules and routines of individual dogs, and will discuss this with owners should boarding be agreed. I live on the edge of a city, on a beautiful Brayford and across the road from a common, allowing me plenty of choices for walks.

About: Hello! My name is Sara, I'm an Italian translator and I've been living in Lincoln for 14 years. I've had dogs my entire life (4 at the same time, at one point!). My beloved 13yo cavapoo, Mia, passed away in June 2024, leaving a gaping hole in my life that I'm now eager to fill by looking after other people's dogs. Mia was on heart medication for the last 2 years of her life, so I have extensive experience in administering tablets to dogs and taking care of any other special needs senior dogs may have (frequent toilet breaks, shorter walks, etc.). Conversely, I can also look after younger, more energetic dogs: I regularly look after Darcey, a 5-month-old Labrador puppy who keeps me on my toes at all times! Not to mention the lovely Renzo, an 8-month-old cockapoo who's never still! I'm a very active person who loves the outdoors - I'm a keen runner and hiker, so you can rest assured your dog will get all the exercise they need whilst in my care! I am FULLY INSURED as a dog sitter, which means you can have 100% peace of mind whenever I am walking your dog or taking care of them, either in my home or at yours. Your dog will always be the ONLY dog I look after (unless you have more than one dog living together, of course!). I believe every pooch deserves my undivided attention at all times, and that's exactly what they'll get whilst in my care. Would you like your dog to socialise more? No problem, I have friends who live nearby who are always happy to go for a walk with their lovely, well-behaved dogs, so that your pup can make new friends and get used to other pups and to being in social settings. I have recently taken sweet Rita on a long walk that culminated with Sunday lunch at the Pyewipe and she absolutely loved it! Not to mention Renzo getting all the attention at Caffè Portico during a coffee break 🥰 I live in central Lincoln and work from home. I'm self-employed and own a car, both of which give me maximum flexibility. If you need someone to stay in your house to ensure your dogs' comfort and avoid stressing them out in a new environment, I'm happy to work from your home. I can also look after them in my own house - I have a secure courtyard with a locked gate and my house is obviously dog-friendly. I'm happy for your dog to spend time on all of my soft furnishings with me, if that's what they're used to, and they will have access to every room in the house, so they can explore as they please and find the perfect spot to relax and feel comfortable in. Additionally, I'm happy to pop in for a quick visit to check on your dogs during the day and/or take them out for a long walk while you're at work. And, if it's cuddles they crave, there's plenty of those waiting for them! I absolutely love dogs and can't wait to give them all the attention they need and deserve. Do get in touch and let's get to know each other. I'd love to become someone your dog loves and looks forward to spending time with! I'm self-employed and work from home, so I'm extremely flexible in terms of schedule and location I can work from. I own a car and am happy to travel. I have a secure, enclosed courtyard with a locked, tall gate to keep your dog safe. I'd also never leave your dogs outside on their own - I always supervise them while they're outside to make sure they're safe.

About: Hi, I’m Sophie! Before my loyal Malinois, Four, turned me into a full-on dog person, I was a lifelong cat lover—so I truly understand both feline independence and canine companionship. I offer calm, trustworthy care shaped by years of hands-on experience with a range of pets, from affectionate lap cats to high-energy, working-breed dogs. Thanks to Four, I also have experience supporting dogs with pulling, reactivity, and basic training needs—so I know how to keep walks safe and stress-free. My partner Scott often lends a hand on walks and drop-ins—we’re both passionate about animals and committed to providing gentle, reliable care. Whether your pet needs company, exercise, or just a steady presence while you're away, I tailor my care to suit their personality and routine. Because your pet deserves a Five-Star experience! I work full time during the week, but caring for animals is a core part of my daily life. I walk my own dog, Four, every day—rain or shine—so I’m used to fitting pet care around a busy schedule. I don’t work weekends or during school holidays, which gives me extra flexibility for drop-ins and walks. My partner Scott is also an animal lover and often supports with afternoon visits when needed, but I’m always the main point of contact and responsible for bookings and care. Pet care is second nature in our household! Safety and trust are my top priorities when caring for pets. I hold a current DBS check and treat every animal with the same care and attention I give my own dog, Four. When walking dogs, I ensure they’re secure on a lead—especially those with reactivity or pulling tendencies—and always check the environment for potential hazards. Whether I’m in your home or mine, I create a calm, secure space tailored to your pet’s needs. For drop-ins, I create a calm, familiar environment for your pet by sticking to their usual routine—feeding, providing fresh water, and giving them the attention they’re used to. I take extra care to follow any specific instructions from you, and I’m always happy to send updates to keep you reassured. Whether your pet is a dog or a cat, I treat them with kindness, respect, and care, ensuring they feel comfortable and safe in their environment.

Rohit will make a brilliant pet caregiver as he’s such a kind and caring soul. Having met him while studying a few months back (we’re both currently undertaking a masters in clinical animal behaviour) I can honestly say he has proven to be a honest and trustworthy friend. In addition his skills and knowledge as a vet will of course be helpful when looking after pets as well. I would have no problems trusting him with looking after my rescue cat when I go away.

When we took our 4-month-old rescue pup home, we discovered how scared she was—she wouldn't even step outside. I was already working, and I need it someone to look after Mabel. Raquel was fantastic. She spent time gaining our puppy's trust, never rushing her, always making her comfortable. Slowly, Mabel started coming out of her shell. Now she even likes her walks! Raquel is good with dogs and a lifesaver to our family. I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a dog walker.

Colin will take the best care of your dog! Colin had a miniature schnauzer for over 17 years, so he has experience with small feisty dogs from the puppy stages to end-of-life care, including managing food allergies, hand feeding, and administering medications. Colin also often took care of my dog, an Australian Shepard mix, and I have complete confidence that he can safely care for your dog (no matter the size or temperament) with love and compassion and control (if you have specific concerns). Don't hesitate to reach out to Colin - I wholeheartedly recommend him.

Being a dog sitter requires a blend of compassion, responsibility and trust. Having known Alastrina for a number of years, I can confidently say she possess all these qualities in abundance. Alastrina is reliable and attentive whenever she looks after my Cocker Spaniel. She is a natural and I always feel at ease leaving my dog with her, knowing that my dog will have the best time staying with her. Alastrina often looks after our dog for both short and long periods of time. Our dog can be excitable and a handful at times, Alastrina has a great temperament and keeps him entertained. I wholeheartedly endorse her as a trustworthy and caring pet sitter.

About: I have a foundation diploma in animal management in which I was educated on and looked after a wide range of animals. I also have my own pets(cat and dog) and trained my Border Collie Ivy, taking her to many puppy training courses from which I have gained valuable experience. I have loved animals my whole life and have enjoyed taking care of loved ones pets in the past helping feed, bathe, groom and walk them. I have a very flexible schedule that allows me to put your pets first and dedicated myself to their care. I also spend a lot of time looking after my own pets and find joy in caring for them. I ensure that both my pets get enough exercise and stimulation throughout the day as to provide a happy and healthy lifestyle for them. I value spending quality time with my pets to make them feel as loved as possible.

Sophie is an experienced pet owner, she has owned snakes, cats, rodents and dogs, all have been well taken care of and had their medical needs met when required. Sophie is always reliable, she is a fantastic time keeper, a good communicator and good at following instructions, she is very friendly and approachable too. Sophie has always loved animals, and taken great care of her own, to the point that I was more than happy to home two of my own kittens with her when they were ready to leave their mum.
