She answered straight away when I booked, she sent me pictures of Mia to let me know how she was getting on and kept in touch with texts to keep me updated. About: We (Alex and Catherine) are licensed and insured home boarders in Scarborough, offering a genuine home-from-home experience with a large secure garden and full run of the house. Our household routine means dogs have company throughout the day. We’re experienced with a wide range of personalities: energetic dogs, anxious dogs, first-time boarders, and dogs who prefer a real home environment instead of kennels. We follow all licensing requirements, including structured routines, safe supervision, hygiene protocols, and clear communication with owners. With a fantastic coastal location just moments from Scarborough’s North Bay we offer great walks and a true family stay for you dogs. We're an early-rising household, so dogs start their day with a proper beach walk before 8am. After that, breakfast is served and dogs can relax around the house while the humans get on with work. Dogs are never left alone, and they have easy access to our secure garden throughout the day for toilet breaks, sniffing, and exploring. Lunchtime usually includes a short walk with plenty of sniffing and a bit of play. Afternoons are a chilled part of the day while the humans work, with dogs free to rest, potter about, or enjoy the garden. Evenings include another walk often a bit longer,as needed, followed by downtime, attention, and plenty of cuddles before bed. Dogs stay in a licensed, home-from-home environment where safety and supervision come first. Our home is fully accessible to visiting dogs, with clear routines, safe spaces, and a secure garden they can use throughout the day. We manage introductions carefully, follow all licensing requirements, and tailor the environment to each dog's needs - whether that's extra reassurance, structured downtime, or enrichment to keep them settled. Dogs are supervised at all times, with consistent human presence and a predictable household rhythm. We maintain hygiene routines, safe feeding practices, and clear communication with owners, including regular updates and photos. Our aim is to make every dog feel comfortable, happy, and part of the household while staying safe, relaxed, and well-cared-for.

Being a Belgian Shepherd, Ava isn’t quick to warm with new people, and yet she was soon easing herself gently into her loving temporary home alongside her Golden Retriever sister Pink and her adopted sister, German Shepherd Willow, owned by Karrie and Kevin. I would not hesitate to book again.”

“This is the first time we used Rover or in fact left our boys with anyone other than family, and I have to say Adam was brilliant. He let us visit for a meet and greet which immediately put us at ease and it meant the boys were somewhat familiar with their surroundings when we left them with Adam a few months later. During their stay Adam sent us pictures and videos aswell as little updates on what they’d been up to. I would 100% recommend.”

About: My partner and I have had our dog Charlie for over 4 years and we have been surrounded by dogs our entire lives. I also worked as a dog warden for over 2 years for a local council. I now work in Human health care. **Dog boarding is available for 1 maybe 2 nights and is subject to mine and my partners work patterns. Cat boarding lengths can be discussed** I currently work full time in healthcare following a shift pattern which allows me several days off during most weeks to look after your pets for the day. Please message me regarding dates required and I can try work around your schedule where possible. Your pet’s safety and comfort is our top priority. Dogs - The garden is secure on all sides by a 6ft high fence with a locked gate. In my home, dogs enjoy a secure, clean, and cozy environment with plenty of space to play and rest. I follow each pet’s routine, provide regular exercise, and offer a calm, supervised space where they can feel relaxed and at home. I have access to 2 crates (large and extra large) if crate time is improant for your dog. Cats - Cats will be in a separate room from our two and separated by a whole room in-between so they won't have the stress of close interactions with unknown cats. Apart from our own dog, No dogs will be boarded ect(Unless from the same household).
