“Emma and Charlene were brilliant with the drop ins on our cat, Lottie, whilst we were away. Lottie is affectionate to us but is usually a bit distant with strangers. It was lovely to see Emma and Charlene build up a relationship with Lottie. Receiving pictures and updates was brilliant. Lottie was so much happier staying in her home environment compared to when we previously collected her from a cattery after time away. That is all down to Emma and Charlene. We will definitely be asking them to do drop ins for us again!”

I work away for long periods and Katie therefore becomes the primary carer for half of each month. My dog is always very well looked after, happy and healthy in Katie’s care. Katie is also my fiancé and I couldn’t be happier about that for many good reasons, but it also helps to have a vet nurse caring for my beloved dog. I can’t think of anyone more genuinely loving toward animals or more appropriate for working with them.”

About: Growing up, we always had a houseful of pets! From the more common cats, dogs and hamsters to the more unusual; ferrets, stick insects, mice, piranhas, budgies. Pets have always been a huge part of my life. As I love to travel, I can't commit to having a furry friend of my own at the moment, but after looking after my friend's cats while she was on holiday recently I realised how much I missed having a little companion around the house. Which is why I signed up to Rover. I currently work only Mondays and Wednesdays, so I have alot of free time! I love walking so would love to have a dog to walk, and also love to snuggle up with a furry friend on the sofa at home Although I do live in a flat, it is very spacious, and I have my own private garden. I would take into account any pet owner's preferences when it came to their pet weather it was in their home or mine. I understand that pet's are people's family so safety is of upmost important. I also have a current DBS check because of my work

About: I grew up with dogs, cats, fish and chickens so genuinely love all animals. I have a car, so I am able to visit on short notice or walk your pooch further afield. I have experience with small, medium and large dogs (my sister has Irish Wolfhounds) so am very capable whatever the size of animal. Can't offer my flat out (due to the cat) but am happy to house sit for up to a week (with notice). Please feel free to get in touch to discuss further or if you have any other questions about me. I'm a freelancer who works from home with a cat I wish I could walk. I tend to travel a lot for work, but am very free during the winter and long periods in the summer. I have a fenced garden that is medium sized, but the dog would have to be able to get on with my cat. She is friendly.

About: I’ve grown up around animals, hamsters, birds, rabbits, cats, dogs, horses. I am happier around animals than I am people most of the time! Being a shift worker I know how hard it is trying to find a walker or someone to call in when you have to work. Now that I have no pets at home it’s a chance for me to help someone else and get all the walks and play and cuddles from other peoples gorgeous animals As a shift worker I get different days off so I can be very flexible. I can help out on awkward dates. I am used to early mornings and late nights and can be about during the day when other people aren’t I have always had dogs and have a secure garden and surrounded by fields and great walking around the village and over the fields. I have no issue with dogs on the sofa!

About: Over 40 cats, 12 dogs, 5 rabbits and 4 hamsters have been part of my life so far. Our family pets, make our home complete. I have a flexible schedule So can offer all day, every day of the week. I can also offer evening and over night stays if required. I will be caring for the pets in their own homes, So will follow the animals routine, make a fuss and play with them, refresh cat litter, provide food and clean water.

About: I have always grown up.with pets in the house and mainly they have been XXL size dogs. This makes it a lot easier when it comes to looking after other people's pets especially if they are on the larger side. I currently do a house sitting for a lovely bull mastiff cross Rottweiler and he just loves the time we get to spend together. Please feel free to ask anything else you might want to know I've just currently been made redundant so am looking to just fill my time between finding another job. I will of course keep doing this where possible once I know what my new working schedule will be. I currently have 2 indoor cats so as you can imagine the main priority it making sure they don't attempt the great escape so I'm very conscious of doors and windows being opened. Where they are indoors cats it does mean they need more playtime and interaction so that's never a problem, most of my free time will be playing with them or giving them love

About: In 2024 alone I have completed over 20 housesits through Trusted Housesitters which have ranged from 2 nights to 14+. In this time I have cared for over 40 beloved pets which have included dog between 11 weeks old - 16 years old, cats including senior cats and chickens. I have decided to take a sabbatical for the next year so see this as an opportunity to not only help other like minded pet owners, but also give me the opportunity to spend time with loved pets in different parts of the country.
