I grew up on a farm, so being around animals has always felt second nature to me. I genuinely love spending time with dogs whether that’s long walks, quiet companionship, playtime, or plenty of cuddles. Pet care is central to my daily routine. As I board only one dog at a time or two from the same household, my schedule is organised entirely around their needs including walks, feeding, play, rest, and companionship. Whether your dog needs daytime care, overnight house sitting, or home boarding with me, they will receive calm, focused attention, reassurance, and consistent care throughout. In my home, dogs are supervised, settled into a quiet routine, and cared for in line with their usual habits and preferences. When caring for a dog in their own home, I follow the owner’s instructions closely to maintain familiarity and minimise disruption. I always prioritise wellbeing, gentle handling, and clear communication, and I provide regular updates for peace of mind.

About: I have loved dogs since I was tiny. I currently have 2 cockapoos of my own. My family are all dog lovers - from Alsatians to toy poodles! I have experience with training my own dogs as puppies as well as caring for older dogs. I work as a primary school tutor each afternoon, so I am free during mornings, mid afternoon and after 6pm. I live in Deal so can walk to local homes. Alternatively, I drive and have my own car so can drive to those that are further afield. As a pet owner myself, I appreciate the importance of following your pet's routine as closely as possible. I will make sure your home is secure. I will also check your pet's food and water, refreshing them as necessary. I will check and empty litter trays. My years as a primary school teacher have made me calm and patient - I would never force interaction with your pets that they do not want! I will send photos and updates via whatsapp after each visit.

About: Hi there! I work in pet healthcare and as you can see I love animals of all kinds! My husband and I are currently travelling and are missing our own fur babies. We cannot wait to spoil yours! We also have plenty of previous sitting/ walking/ and house visit experience in Australia over the last few years with many happy pups and their parents. We enjoy going on adventures and keeping your fur babies entertained. One of our dogs in Australia is dog-reactive so am comfortable working around this if need be. I have a background in large animals also so are comfortable looking after a menagerie while you’re away. Experienced with caring for special needs animals and administering medications. Just let me know what is due when, and you can relax knowing your fur baby is getting everything they need! Also happy to clip nails, clean ears, wash pups etc. Depending on bookings, I can do morning/afternoon/night. Home visits and walks are 30 mins, if I am to house sit I will be there at least 3hrs during the day and also overnight. About: I Grew up with animals (dog, cat, rabbits, horse). I Have a young border collie and have looked after a number of friends / families pets, from feeding/ walking to house sitting and boarding. I work full time at home *flexi pattern* so can make time throughout the day to suite. Also free on evenings and weekends. Ill always do my best to accommodate requirements I can look after pets at your own home (unfortunately can't offer boarding as i have a young collie). I can either do drop in or house sitting depending on what your needs are.

About: This is my first time on Rover, however I have had pets ever since I was a young child and have pet sat and walked dogs and cats for family and friends. I love taking care of a wide range of pets. I am reliable and whilst I do work shifts patterns I can still be fairly flexible! I aim to reply quickly and understand that things do come up and so am flexible on cancellations. I currently work shift patterns but can be flexible for dog walks/ home check-ins for your pets. I currently own and care for three cats and would love a dog in the future. I don’t want to create any stress for my animals and so currently can’t offer pet sitting with my pets but I can offer pet walks and home check ins! I have a fenced garden and own three calm and friendly cats. I am close to multiple dog friendly parks and beaches which make great places for dog walking!

About: I am originally from North Yorkshire and have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life; my first being a Labrador called Shawkie and a Shetland Sheepdog called Pepper. Since then, I have grown up with Border Collies and shorthaired cats. I have since moved to Kent, and I now have my own cat named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. I have helped friends and family from a young age with walking and caring for their own dogs, and then went on to work at a boarding kennel and cattery before becoming a Zoo Keeper. I have always had a passion for dogs and cats and someday dream of having my own dog. I am happy to walk and play with any dog breed no matter the size! I love the outdoors and would be willing to walk your dog no matter the weather. I have recently picked up photography as a new hobby and I am more than happy to take plenty of photos of your dog ok their walks for you to see :) I am currently taking a little break from work due to personal reasons and am available at any time, any day of the week no matter the weather :) I have held two DBS certificates both for a school/college and for the military. Being a Zoo Keeper means I have had several years of training in animal care and safety as well as dog and cat specific care from working at a kennels. I have been trained previously in the administration of medication both oral and injections from a licensed vet while working as a Zoo Keeper so I am able to comfortably meet any care requirements you may have. I am happy to allow your dog off lead during walks, provided they are well-trained and you would like them off lead, otherwise they will be fully leaded while on walks. I do also have a fenced garden at my house for any short play sessions :)

About: I am a stay at home cat dad of 3 cats.I work out in the gym 6 days a week.And when I am home my cats are played with ,loved and get lots of attention and affection In my home I have multiple cats scratching places, a big cat tree,multiple cat litters,shelfs for my cats to play and explore on.I also have an out door catio for my cats to spend time outside during the day.

“We booked Sophie for regular drop-ins over the span of two and a half weeks and honestly she has been an incredibly reliable, caring and communicative cat sitter. We could sleep easily knowing that someone responsible and genuinely good with pets is looking after our cat while we're out of the country. Dexter is usually very shy around strangers but instantly took a liking to her, which says a lot. We were concerned about letting someone we don't know have the keys to our flat for that long, but she has been nothing but respectful of our home. To sum it all up, we would definitely book her again!”

About: I have always loved animals of all kinds big or small it doesn’t matter. I’ve had a lot of experience growing up around animals but am always willing to learn new things about taking care of dogs and cats. I am used to taking care of my friends’s pets and even some of my neighbours’s pets while they are gone on a holiday or temporarily needing help. My family used to always rely on me to feed, take them out for a walk, bathe them and even train the new puppies sometimes and as such I've gained many years of experience in animal care, experience I think will help me get along well with your pet. I am currently on maternity leave therefore I have plenty of time on my hands at the moment. I am available any day of the week. I first make sure the dogs food and water bowls are cleaned, if not the bowls will be cleaned in the sink after use, I always make sure that the pet has had enough water thoroughly to ensure no illnesses are contracted and give them food depending on their diet. If I see that the pet is sad I will play with them using any toys provided in any set of areas that the animal is allowed to wander in until I see that they are in a happy mood. Keep it out of rooms it's not allowed to go into. Make sure there's no dirt on it and if there is give it a suitable cleaning, after cleaning I always clean any left over dirt in the bath. Take it out for walks in the local area and lock the house safely before leaving. Also due to the experience of training puppies often when I was younger I can tell very easily when a dog is wanting to be played with and so this will help me understand what needs the dog is wanting to have fulfilled.

About: I’ve grown up with dogs and have had a cat throughout my life, so animals have always been a bit part of my life. My grandparents also used to regularly dog-sit, which meant that I grew up around lots of different dogs and loved caring for them. I’m a genuine animal lover and would treat every pet as if they were my own, making sure they feel safe, happy, and well cared for. I’m responsible, patient and attentive, and would love the opportunity to care for your pets. I’ve recently completed my BSc in Sports Therapy and Rehabilitation, so I currently have a very flexible schedule and plenty of time to dedicate to caring for your pets. My degree has developed my responsibility, attention to detail, and understanding of health and wellbeing, all of which I feel are valuable when caring for animals. I’m available throughout the week and at the weekends and am happy to work around your pets usual routine. I have a secure, fenced garden and a friendly cat at home, and am used to having animals around. I’ll always take the time to understand your pets individual routine, personality, and will follow any instructions you provide carefully. About: I work from home full time so I’m always around to give your pups lots of cuddles, care and attention. They really become part of the family! I have owned and cared for dogs my whole life. I have 2 dogs of my own called Otis and Chester, who welcome new friends with open arms! I am not only insured through Rover, but also have private sitter insurance so you can be sure that your pups are in safe hands. There are plenty of woodlands surrounding our house so we do an hours walk there most mornings, sometimes we’ll go to Reculver or Hampton instead. Just let me know if your doggo is allowed off the lead or not. We also do a shorter walk in the evening to stretch their legs before bed. I have a very secure fenced garden for them to run around in and an open plan living/dining area so they have plenty of space for play and rest. We live in a 3 bed detached house, your pup is welcome to sleep on the sofa or we can make the spare room into a cosy room with plenty of blankets and toys.

About: I cater for dogs of all different personalities, whether they are shy or boisterous, young or old, I cater for them all and can’t wait to pet sit for you I am free all week to pet sit for your dogs and cats. I am at home everyday so your pets will never be alone and will always have a full day of activities and fun I have a fenced garden so it is safe for your dogs and there is no where for them to escape. I also live near lots of beaches and parks so your dog will have lots of variety for their walks

My dogs have a few issues that could be off putting to some (one is reactive to dogs and the other is very old with disabilities) - but nothing was too much trouble! Both the dogs were instantly at ease and beau is clearly a natural with dogs and an animal lover. Exactly what you want from a dog sitter!
