“We booked Sophie for regular drop-ins over the span of two and a half weeks and honestly she has been an incredibly reliable, caring and communicative cat sitter. We could sleep easily knowing that someone responsible and genuinely good with pets is looking after our cat while we're out of the country. Dexter is usually very shy around strangers but instantly took a liking to her, which says a lot. We were concerned about letting someone we don't know have the keys to our flat for that long, but she has been nothing but respectful of our home. About: I've grown up around cats from when I was a kid, my first being a Bengal named Toto. As a kitten he was as chaotic as you could imagine, but mellowed as he got older. I now havey own fur baby named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. As well as growing up with cats, I also grew up with a whole range of animals from dogs, rabbits, hamsters to large farm animals. Before moving to Kent 3 years ago, I lived in North Yorkshire when I worked at a boarding kennel and cattery looking after many different people's wonderful pets. I later moved on to becoming a Zoo Keeper and specialised in feline care. I have always been an animal lover and will take any opportunity to look after or play with any animal no matter the species, so I am happy to pet sit other animals such as rabbits, birds, fish, reptiles, etc.

About: I work from home full time so I’m always around to give your pups lots of cuddles, care and attention. They really become part of the family! I have owned and cared for dogs my whole life. I have 2 dogs of my own called Otis and Chester, who welcome new friends with open arms! I am not only insured through Rover, but also have private sitter insurance so you can be sure that your pups are in safe hands. There are plenty of woodlands surrounding our house so we do an hours walk there most mornings, sometimes we’ll go to Reculver or Hampton instead. Just let me know if your doggo is allowed off the lead or not. We also do a shorter walk in the evening to stretch their legs before bed. I have a very secure fenced garden for them to run around in and an open plan living/dining area so they have plenty of space for play and rest. We live in a 3 bed detached house, your pup is welcome to sleep on the sofa or we can make the spare room into a cosy room with plenty of blankets and toys.

I first make sure the dogs food and water bowls are cleaned, if not the bowls will be cleaned in the sink after use, I always make sure that the pet has had enough water thoroughly to ensure no illnesses are contracted and give them food depending on their diet. If I see that the pet is sad I will play with them using any toys provided in any set of areas that the animal is allowed to wander in until I see that they are in a happy mood. Keep it out of rooms it's not allowed to go into. Make sure there's no dirt on it and if there is give it a suitable cleaning, after cleaning I always clean any left over dirt in the bath. Take it out for walks in the local area and lock the house safely before leaving. Also due to the experience of training puppies often when I was younger I can tell very easily when a dog is wanting to be played with and so this will help me understand what needs the dog is wanting to have fulfilled.

I grew up with my doggie, Fudge. She would sit on my lap in the pram, deal with being dressed as a princess through my childhood and be the fur I cried into during the dreadful teenage years! Animals make our lives and we make theirs. Thats why as a sitter I treat your animal like they are my own childhood pup, providing love, adventure and time when you can't. I am a professional harpist so my day involves practicing my music and giving your pet lots of attention and love. My days are incredibly flexible so I can cater them to what your pet needs. I have a large paddock with lots of space for Zoomies, as well as a fenced off smaller garden to keep your pets safe. I live fairly rurally in the beautiful Kent countryside and I'm close to the beach if your doggie loves a swim!

About: I've been very lucky to have had the opportunity to meet many different pets and their families, I previously owned a house and pet sitting business in Spain for 4 years. I have extensive knowledge of caring for breeds with skin and dietary sensitivities. I’m also highly experienced with caring for rescue dogs (having had 4 rescue me over the years), nervous dogs, brachycephalic breeds, older dogs, cats and end of life care for both including administering medication and personal care. I don't have green fingers but can keep plants alive, I'm respectful of peoples property and love to clean so be rest assured your home will be taken care of as well as your pets. Im happy to travel within the UK to your home and assure you I’ll take care of it as if it’s my own NOT CURRENTLY BOARDING I have a fully enclosed small garden with 7 feet walls and live near some beautiful orchards and farm land so pee breaks as and when are not a problem for boarders. Boarders are allowed on my furniture but only if that’s what happens in your home. I’m keen to keep to your pets routine and rules so would love to discuss them at a pre meet or on a video call before a sit goes ahead. I can also transport to vets or grooming appointments if these are scheduled for when you’re away. I’ll send as many/as few photos and updates as you need so you know that your pet is being cared for to the high standards I provide
About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

About: I have always loved animals particularly dogs and have owned many myself over the years. I look after all my friends and families pets ranging from dogs to cats and I also provide dog training in my local area Currently walking and doing drop ins for family and friends pets so more dog walks will fit right in to my day. I absolutely love to walk and explore new places and having a friend beside you just makes it even better. Extremely responsible and trust worthy. I have a fenced garden and a friendly dog myself for company or can do solo walks and drops in for reactive dogs.
