We were initially anxious, as Murphy had only ever stayed with family before, but she looked after him so well that he didn’t seem to miss us at all. As this was a first meet, we were offered a meet-and-greet prior to booking which was a great way to have our dog get a feel for the environment beforehand. She followed his routine closely and kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which made a huge difference in putting our minds at ease. About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

My dogs have a few issues that could be off putting to some (one is reactive to dogs and the other is very old with disabilities) - but nothing was too much trouble! About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)
