About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

About: I've grown up around cats from when I was a kid, my first being a Bengal named Toto. As a kitten he was as chaotic as you could imagine, but mellowed as he got older. I now havey own fur baby named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. As well as growing up with cats, I also grew up with a whole range of animals from dogs, rabbits, hamsters to large farm animals. Before moving to Kent 3 years ago, I lived in North Yorkshire when I worked at a boarding kennel and cattery looking after many different people's wonderful pets. I later moved on to becoming a Zoo Keeper and specialised in feline care. I can also transport to vets or grooming appointments if these are scheduled for when you’re away. About: Throughout my life we’ve always had dogs, cats and even reptiles- from Yorkshire terriers and beared dragons up to Boa constrictors and our current Rottweilers I’ve personally trained 4 Rottweilers (3 males 1 bitch) and had the pleasure of raising over 30 pups over the years. As with all big dogs it’s a short life and we’ve recently lost 3 of our 4 (13yrs, 12yrs and 11yrs) a great innings considering their life expectancy we lost our girl due to old age and two males due to cancer- Due to the incredible focus needed to have these breeds it’s given me and my partner great first hand experience of dealing with power, reactive behaviour and general big dog issues. We swear and live by proactive measures ensuring that we avoid tense situations and all cost and do all teaching via reinforcement and care. We spend all and every weekend exploring the uk countryside with Odin, so we’re looking to be able to care for dogs that fit into that lifestyle We live on a large boat, which is out of the water at the moment- we have safety nets and ramps set up so all areas are accessible and safe. Any dog staying with us overnight will have their own cabin onboard :)

About: I have been brought up around dogs and more recently my partner and I volunteered at a dog shelter with over 100 dogs, we spent a month learning dog behaviour, cleaning, feeding and walking gentle giants. We are both calm natured and believe love and kindness bring out the best in dogs. We have been around rescue dogs that have nervous tendencies and they learnt to trust us over the time we were volunteering. We are avid walkers so we are happy with energetic dogs, also love cuddles for the lazier ones. I am currently working from home freelance so I have a lot of time and can work from anywhere. We are both very flexible and can happily stay out. I have a lot of experience with dogs big and small, I will be able to walk, feed and give your pets the attention and love they need and want. My weekly routine is very flexible due to the nature of my work and working from home. About: I have had dogs for over 23 years with having 3 Springer Spaniels, I have always been kept active. Since taking early retirement I am at home all day with no dogs as ours sadly passed last year. I have all the time and attention to welcome your fur baby into our home. I have a large garden, totally secure and close to the beach, where I love to walk dogs. I know from my own experiences of having our own dogs looked after while away, how much you miss them and need reassurance that they are happy and look after, just like they would be in your own home. I am happy to give medicine if required, I have no other pets or children and a non smoker. I have put that I will accept large dogs however my preference is nothing over 25kg. I am now retired and at home all day. I Live with my husband who is also a dog lover and enjoys dog walks. Your dog will not be left on their own as my husband is happy to look after them while I pop out to the shops. Your dog will get 3 walks a day if required and plenty of play in the garden, I have a large secure garden and live on a quite road, a few minutes from the beach. Having dogs for over 20 years, our home has always been a home for dogs, including cuddles on the sofa. We do not have many visitors or any children at home. If your dog is nervous of new people we would be happy to not have visitors during their stay. I would walk your dog on the lead at all times. Our last springer was a rescue and quite nervous of other dogs, therefore if your dog is nervous you can be reassured that we are use to dealing with this. All our springers have lived a long life, therefore use to dealing with senior dogs. Since retiring I have volunteered at the Dog Trust for 5 years, which has given me more experience with working with different breeds.
