Selma took time to get our rescued young GSD used to her by arranging two meet and greets. He was immediately relaxed in her home environment and with the calm energy Selma projects. Such a relief to find such a lovely lady to trust with our dog. Thank you!

My dog Maisie was with Tamsin for 3 nights. When I picked Maisie up , Tamsin said that she had no problem with her for those few days whatsoever. Tamsin, seems to be a natural in looking after animals. After I took Maisie home, she settled back immediately. So that confirms to me that she was very well for in Tamsin’s home. I have no hesitation in recommending Tamsin to any dog owner whatsoever. I certainly will be using her in the future, that’s if she isn’t booked up of course. Kind regards, James.

This was the first time we have left Willow with someone overnight as we had to travel away for a family event. Sophie was very pleasant and kept us up to date with photos and messages. Willow was totally relaxed within minutes of us leaving her and was very well looked after throughout her stay. We are so happy to have found Sophie and her family and would most definitely recommend her and would most definitely book with her again.

Isabelle was just what our old dog (aged 12 1/2 ) needed, kind and calm. Isabelle kept us updated with regular pictures and videos (which were lovely) and he looked happy and relaxed, as this was a worry for us due to his age. I can't believe we found her, what luck! We love our furry baby but life sometimes means you visit places without them and to know he is looked after for his needs, or small walks and company. Isabelle was prepared to have him on his own and as he can be nervous of others dogs this was perfect. Thank you Isabelle.

Jazz is wonderfully down-to-earth, and her experience, attentiveness, and genuine care are clear from the moment you meet her. We were initially anxious, as Murphy had only ever stayed with family before, but she looked after him so well that he didn’t seem to miss us at all. As this was a first meet, we were offered a meet-and-greet prior to booking which was a great way to have our dog get a feel for the environment beforehand. She followed his routine closely and kept us regularly updated with messages and photos, which made a huge difference in putting our minds at ease. It’s such a relief to know we can leave Murphy in a safe, loving home environment. We highly recommend Jazz to anyone looking for dog boarding. Thanks again Jazz, we look forward to next time!

Christine and her husband are both very warm and friendly people who welcomed Barney with open arms. He was very happy to run straight up to them for a fuss, and clearly felt right at home. I received updates from Christine while we were away, and when we arrived to collect Barney he was very much part of their home, and you could tell he was very happy there. Christine was very careful to follow our care notes, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend her. In fact, I've made a second booking!

Cherri was excellent with my Dog Arnie - She responded really quickly to any messages I sent, arranged a meet and greet which put my mind at rest as she is located in a lovely village with amazing walks 5 mins from her house. I am sure if Arnie could talk (although he is very vocal as Cherri found out !) he would say that he had an amazing time being pampered, fed and walked for the days he was there - was definitely a home from home experience - I would have no hesitation in booking Arnie in with Cherri again in the future.

About: I have taken care of pets my whole life. I am the go to pet sitter when family and friends are away. Dogs, cats and other pets are always welcome in my home and I love animals. I am regular walker and am not squeamish when it comes to cleaning up mess. Calm and hyper dogs are welcome always. Their needs are the most important when it comes to caring for an animal so if its too hot for a walk then we stay in and play indoors or in the shaded garden if its raining and they want to go out ive got a raincoat I am not afraid of rain and if your pet loves to get covered in mud im not afraid to get dirty and I am more than happy to give them a bath. I am available thursday to sunday unless I have special things planned but I will give everyone more than enough notice to find extra care Im currently working part time and the rest of the week involves park days and beach days with my little boy so any pet care can be provided. I am also a jogger if your pet likes regular running and I have an accessible large crate for any sized dog if needed I have a fenced garden and 3 very friendly cats who have been trained to behave around dogs as they are outdoor pets. I have dog food wet and dry always available and pets are allowed on the furniture as long as they are house trained

About: Hey, my name is Jay. I have a Black Lab called Mabel and a German Shep called Martha. Both of whom are well behaved and trained myself / in training. I offer a variety of services and am blessed to have lot's of facilities to my, and your pet's, advantage. Including a Land Rover kitted out for transport should it be required, as well as a stunning location based at the bottom of the White Cliffs of Dover allowing for lot's of walks along the cliffs, into the fields or along the beach and even a swim! Alternatively we can go directly into town. My property is also big enough to have a very private garden with 6+ foot walls surrounding the place ensuring it is very secure. I also house a parrot, variety of fish and in the past have had multiple hamsters and too many guinea pigs and rabbits to count! I love animals and would be honoured to take care of yours! P.S - as a bonus I provide quality photography of your pet if requested, free of charge! Just a little extra for booking with me. You can see some of my imagery on my profile! :) I’ve recently taken a significant amount of time away from my regular work to care for my own dogs and dedicate my time fully to animal care. This means I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pet my full attention, day or night, alongside my own animals. I provide a safe, structured, and highly attentive environment for every pet in my care, whether in my own home or the owner’s home. At my home, pets are looked after in a secure property with a large private garden enclosed by 6+ foot walls, ensuring safety at all times. Dogs are never left unattended for long periods, and I am able to give them constant supervision and interaction throughout the day. They have access to regular walks tailored to their needs, including local field walks, coastal walks along the White Cliffs of Dover, and beach outings where appropriate. I also ensure they have a calm space to rest and settle comfortably inside the home. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I maintain their usual routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep them comfortable in familiar surroundings. This includes feeding schedules, exercise routines, playtime, medication if required, and plenty of companionship. Across all services, I prioritise safety, consistency, and individual attention. I have experience with a range of animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they are well cared for, stimulated, and happy throughout my time with them.

About: I've had pets ever since I was as young as age 7. I started out with goldfish in a small aquarium. Owning pets when I was young helped me to grow into a more empathetic and compassionate person. I also used to have pet guinea pigs, and now I have a cat. Having these mammals has allowed me excellent opportunities to form bonds with animals early on, and practice for bonding with future pets. I also attended Hadlow College Canterbury for 3 years and did animal care courses. I worked with goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs in their outside yard. In their indoor area, I also worked with small rodents, reptiles and even amphibians. For all of those animals, I was given training on how to clean them out, how to handle them, give them the right amount of food, and how to perform a health check. Qualifications acheived: •Foundation in animal care •Level 1 diploma in animal care •Level 2 diploma in animal care I am highly flexible and can fit pet care around my normal daily routine. This is throughout both weekdays and weekends. I am able to to late evenings or early mornings should you request. I have cat toys and scratching posts that are provided for my cat to be stimulated. I feed him twice a day, once in the morning with nuggets and once in the evening with a sashe.

About: I’ve had cats all throughout my life, I have just lost my cat, who was my best friend, after 19 wonderful years. This has prompted me to sign up to Cat In A Flat/Rover, as I have a fluffy shaped hole in my life! So, I’ve looked after my cats, family members and friends cats… I also have the neighbouring cats that wonder in to my house (owners aware) …So many cats! From kittens to older in life, long hair to short, to giving medication when poorly, multiple meals, plays and of course the biggest thing, CUDDLES! 🥰 I can also drop in on dogs and do dog walking for small to medium dogs. I have also had a hamster when younger and looked after others hamsters too. Am open to looking after rabbits and birds and alike but do not have direct experience with them. I really do love all animals! Warning I will probably call your furry person a sausage!

We were a little anxious as our German Shepherd / Border Collie as he can be reactive and picky with the people he likes. He either loves you or wants to eat you. Mark suggested a pre meet and from the moment we stepped into his house we needn't of worried. Dexter instantly made new friends. On the day, Mark sent us pictures to keep us updated and showed us that he was not stressed or miss behaving and looking very chilled and relaxed. Thank you Mark

About: I have been fostering dogs, old, young, and sick for 5 years. We adopted our lurcher 2 years ago. He is a playful 2 year old, so I need to use treats/ and discipline quite a lot. I have had dogs growing up, and just love to be around all types of dog. I’m at home most of the time. Not currently back at work after maternity leave. I take my dog out at least once a day. So can fit something in most days! I have a fully fenced garden and gate. Pet care isn’t just a side hobby for me—it is my full-time, 24/7 commitment. My entire day revolves completely around the happiness, safety, and routine of the dogs in my care. About: Hello! I am an animal lover who has been around dogs since I was a small child. I am easy going and very nurturing towards cats and dogs, and I know how important it is to feel you have left your pet with someone who makes them feel safe and comfortable. I have previously worked as a volunteer at an animal sanctuary, where I socialised and bathed dogs, as well as helping the vet with their medical care. I also have up-to-date dog and cat first aid training (completed within the last year). I would welcome the opportunity to take care of your pet and give you peace of mind while you are out and about or away on a trip. I’m currently working part time so am available most days. I’m happy to have dogs in my home or come to you, according to your preference. I’m a safety-conscious, responsible person. If your dog is at my house, I will take them for regular walks in our local park, either on-lead or off-lead, according to your preference. They can also go to the toilet in my garden! At your home, I’m happy to be led by your dog’s usual routine!

About: Both Tom and I have been around dogs all our lives and absolutely adore them. We live with our 2 lurchers, Lionel and Bodhi in Folkestone. I have a qualification in Pet First Aid and Dog CPR, and experienced in administering injectable medications. I am fully insured by Protectivity. We have extensive experience with senior dog care, sighthounds, and are used to looking after dogs of all sizes and personalities. We are fortunate to live in close proximity to the Kent Downs, and the beautiful Kent countryside, near lots of woods and walking distance to the coast. We love to get out in the fresh air as much as possible and would welcome your furry friends to come with us. There are also plenty of dog parks near our house, and we have booked private fields for dogs in our care, so they can really have a good run and play off lead. We only take up to two dogs at a time, as long to ensure they get sufficient supervision and snuggles. Walks can be solo or with our boys (who walk very well on lead). Lionel and Bodhi are very loving, friendly boys, with very different characters! Lionel loves everyone and wants to play. Bodhi is more laidback and is happy to watch playtime from the sofa! Both are good at sharing toys and snuggling. As with most sighthounds, after a short burst of energy, they love to snuggle up for the next few hours! Caring for animals is my priority, dog sitting and walking is my full-time focus. I live with my husband, who mostly works from home and has a flexible schedule. Depending on your preference, we can either go out together on group walks with our dogs (2 adults, plus one or two of our dogs, with your dog), or I can take your dog(s) on a solo walk. Whatever works best for your dog. Your dog will be with humans the majority of the time they are here, receiving love, care and attention. A typical day for us, We usually wake around 6am, have cuddles with our dogs and feed them their breakfast. Then we head out for our early morning walk (usually 1 - 2 hours). After that our boys tend to sleep til lunch time. We usually have then playtime, followed by more napping. We then take a second walk before or after their tea. Then toy time and tucked in bed around 9pm. As we have 2 lurchers our garden is very secure with high fences. There are comfy sofas in both rooms on the ground floor, plus dog beds, plenty of room to relax. If you like your dogs to be crated at night, there is room to add these. Our dogs sleep in one room, your dogs would have their own doggy bedroom (ground floor). We also have a room on the first floor for dogs that need a snug quiet space of their own.

I was very lucky to find Christine and that she was available to look after Lollie. It was short notice and really helped me out whilst I attended a funeral & family gathering. Lollie can be sensitive but I knew immediately Christine and her husband would be kind and gentle with her. Lollie was as happy as I’ve seen her going to someone she doesn’t know. Photos of Lollie were sent to reassure she was absolutely fine. Thank you so much.

About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a small child alongside guinea -pigs, rabbits and chinchillas. Since living on my own (10yeard) I have had recue cats in my home and often looked after friends and family's animals by house sitting or walking them. For the last 2 years I have fostered dogs from the Charity Dogs Trust and have had basic training in grooming, giving medication and basic behavioural recognisition. I am most experienced with reactive dogs and those with anxiety. I currently work from home and only recently moved to Folkestone so I am looking to have some companionship and floofy cuddles during the day. Plus living opposite the beach there are loads of beach side walks and what better friend then a doggo to take with me. I have a flat with a roof terrace as well as access to the beach and no other pets currently so your fur baby will have a safe, quiet environment. I do have a crate if needed but usually let the floors on the sofa or in a Doggy bed. I drive so can pop into your home to pick up a pet if needed for walks or check ins. My neighbours don't have dogs either so reactive dogs should be happy too.

About: Hello! I’m a caring, reliable animal lover with experience looking after my own cats, as well as caring for those belonging to family and friends. Although I haven’t owned a dog myself, I’ve always loved being around animals and understand the importance of providing them with patience, attention, and a safe environment. I’m calm, responsible, active, and happy to follow your dog’s routine and any specific instructions to make sure they’re comfortable and well cared for. I absolutely love animals and know how much they mean to the people they share their lives with, so I’ll treat your dog or cat with the same care, kindness, and respect that I give my own pets. I also have an enhanced DBS check for extra peace of mind. I’ll keep you updated with messages and photos, so you can feel reassured while you’re apart. As a self-employed creative freelancer, I have quite a flexible schedule, which means I can often fit around walking and drop in pet-care (maybe other pet sitting in the future) I’ll always be upfront about my availability and only take on bookings that I know I can give my full attention to. I really do love all animals, so I can also drop in on cats too! And I have also had a hamster when younger and looked after others hamsters too. I am open to looking after rabbits and birds and alike but do not have direct experience with them. I look forward to meeting you and your furry companion - warning I will probably call them a sausage! …What makes your furry person happy makes me happy! 😊 My week will change each week as I’m self employed, so I work pet care around my work. But I will never take a booking when I know I’m down to work near that time. But i can do early mornings from about 7AM until about 6PM (sometimes a little later the summer). All days - working round my various hours in-between. Let me know if your cat or dog has any issues, if they are shy or anxious around certain things. Or if they like to do certain things, favourite places, toys, etc. For dogs how long the walk should be, for cats, for a drop in - if they need feeding or have an ‘in time’ (it’s a thing!) …or anything else related 😊

About: Hi there, I grew up surrounded by horses cats dogs fish and hamsters and love them all. I’m a regular cat sitter currently and resting between acting jobs so ready to go. I work part time as a supporting artist in films so pet care work fits in perfectly with that. I’m also used to getting up very early so any need for dawn feeds/ walkies etc won’t be a problem. I always follow care instructions to the letter, especially locking up a front door etc.. I double and triple check to make sure. That might be a bit OCD but better safe than sorry.

About: I offer a highly versatile, confident, and reliable approach to pet care. My experience spans the entire spectrum of the canine world, meaning your dog—no matter their size or personality—will be in expert hands. ❄️ Arctic Sled Dog & Pack Experience I have unique, hands-on experience managing a pack of working Huskies during a sledding expedition in the Arctic Circle of Sweden. This involved looking after my own team and assisting with the wider pack in extreme conditions—handling everything from feeding and harness management to understanding complex pack dynamics and high-energy behavior. 🏡 Gentle Care for Smaller Breeds While I'm entirely confident with large, high-energy breeds, I am equally experienced in providing the gentle, attentive care required for smaller dogs. I have extensive experience looking after two small dogs, meaning I completely understand the finer details of small-dog care—from keeping a watchful eye on them around bigger dogs to managing their specific exercise routines and making sure they feel safe, cozy, and thoroughly pampered. Whether your dog needs a high-energy handler who can match their stamina, or a calm, comforting companion for cuddles and structured routines, I adapt perfectly to what they need. As a part-time personal trainer, my schedule is incredibly flexible, leaving me with plenty of free time throughout the week to dedicate to your pets. Because fitness is my job, I have the stamina and energy for long, active walks, making me the perfect fit for high-energy dogs who love to explore and burn off energy! I can easily structure my day around your dog's specific routine, feeding times, and exercise needs. Safety and trust are my top priorities. When caring for pets in an owner's home, I treat their property and their routine with the utmost respect, ensuring doors are locked, feeding schedules are met precisely, and the environment remains calm. On walks, my background as a fitness professional means I am alert, physically strong enough to handle large or pulling dogs safely on a lead, and fully focused on keeping your dog secure and happy at all times.

About: I have several years of hands-on experience caring for pets, primarily dogs, cats, birds and reptiles. I am passionate about providing attentive, reliable, and compassionate care! My experience includes feeding, walking, bathing, administering basic medications, cleaning living areas, and ensuring pets feel safe and comfortable in their environment. I have cared for pets of various breeds, sizes, and temperaments, including energetic puppies, senior dogs, and shy or anxious animals. Through these experiences, I have learned how to read animal behavior, respond calmly in stressful situations, and adjust care routines based on each pet’s specific needs. In addition to daily care, I understand the importance of maintaining consistent schedules, monitoring health changes, and communicating clearly with pet owners. I always prioritize safety, cleanliness, and the well-being of every animal in my care. Whether it’s ensuring proper portion sizes at feeding time or providing engaging exercise during walks, I approach every responsibility with patience and dedication. Pet care has strengthened my sense of responsibility, time management, and attention to detail. Most importantly, it has reinforced my belief that animals deserve kindness, respect, and dependable care at all times❤️ I have a very flexible schedule so please feel free to book on any day of the week and I will do my best to fit your fury friend in for walks, day care or over night stays! When caring for a pet in an owner’s home, my first priority is maintaining a safe, calm, and familiar environment. I understand that pets feel most comfortable in their own space, so I make every effort to follow the owner’s routine closely — including feeding schedules, walk times, playtime, and any special instructions. Consistency helps reduce stress and keeps the pet feeling secure. I always ensure doors, gates, and windows are securely closed to prevent escapes, and I double-check locks before leaving the home. I keep harmful items such as cleaning products, small objects, or unsafe foods out of reach. During walks or outdoor time, I stay alert to surroundings and use secure leashes or harnesses as instructed. Cleanliness is also very important. I regularly clean food and water bowls, refresh water daily, and keep litter boxes or living areas tidy. This helps prevent illness and keeps the home environment healthy for the pet. I pay close attention to the pet’s behavior, appetite, and energy levels to quickly notice any changes that could signal stress or health concerns. If I observe anything unusual, I communicate promptly with the owner. Above all, I treat the owner’s home with respect and their pet with patience, kindness, and responsibility. My goal is to make the pet feel comfortable and cared for while giving the owner peace of mind knowing their home and companion are in safe, trustworthy hands.

Having recently lost our 2 border terriers I find myself missing the pleasures of having a dog around the house. I would love to care for your dog during the day when you are unable to do so. Being retired means that I can look after your dog five days a week and I am available from early in the morning until late in the evening. About: I have over a year’s experience caring for dogs and have built a wonderful relationship with a regular client who trusts me to care for their dog on an ongoing basis. Alongside this, I regularly look after my own dog, as well as my sister’s and grandma’s dogs whenever they’re away, so I’m confident caring for dogs with different personalities and routines. I understand that every dog deserves love, attention and companionship. I couldn’t imagine a dog being left feeling lonely, so I always make sure they feel safe, happy and well cared for while you’re away. Whether it’s walks, playtime, feeding, cuddles or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat your dog as if they were my own. I’m reliable, patient and caring, and I know how important it is to trust the person looking after your pet. I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages, so you can relax knowing your dog is in safe and loving hands. Pet sitting is currently my full-time focus, so I’m able to dedicate plenty of time and attention to the dogs in my care. I do occasionally have one-day photoshoots or events, but I always keep my diary up to date and never accept bookings that would clash. When you book with me in advance, you can be confident that your dog will receive my full attention, plenty of exercise, love and companionship throughout their stay. I’ll always communicate clearly with you and make sure your dog’s routine comes first. Your dog’s safety, happiness and wellbeing will always be my priority. Whether I’m caring for your dog in my home or yours, I’ll make sure they stick to their usual routine, including feeding times, walks, playtime and any medication they may need. I’ll provide plenty of love, attention and companionship, ensuring they never feel lonely or unsettled. In my home, dogs have access to a large, secure fenced garden with both grass and patio areas to play and explore safely. I also have a friendly, well-socialised Cocker Spaniel who loves the company of other dogs, as well as a large crate and comfortable bed if your dog prefers their own space. I have dedicated fridge space for storing fresh food or any special dietary requirements, and I’ll always keep you updated with photos and messages so you know your dog is happy, safe and receiving the best possible care.

About: I am originally from North Yorkshire and have grown up with dogs and cats my whole life; my first being a Labrador called Shawkie and a Shetland Sheepdog called Pepper. Since then, I have grown up with Border Collies and shorthaired cats. I have since moved to Kent, and I now have my own cat named Nova, who I have had since she was 11 weeks old. I have helped friends and family from a young age with walking and caring for their own dogs, and then went on to work at a boarding kennel and cattery before becoming a Zoo Keeper. I have always had a passion for dogs and cats and someday dream of having my own dog. I am happy to walk and play with any dog breed no matter the size! I love the outdoors and would be willing to walk your dog no matter the weather. I have recently picked up photography as a new hobby and I am more than happy to take plenty of photos of your dog ok their walks for you to see :) I am currently taking a little break from work due to personal reasons and am available at any time, any day of the week no matter the weather :) I have held two DBS certificates both for a school/college and for the military. Being a Zoo Keeper means I have had several years of training in animal care and safety as well as dog and cat specific care from working at a kennels. I have been trained previously in the administration of medication both oral and injections from a licensed vet while working as a Zoo Keeper so I am able to comfortably meet any care requirements you may have. I am happy to allow your dog off lead during walks, provided they are well-trained and you would like them off lead, otherwise they will be fully leaded while on walks. I do also have a fenced garden at my house for any short play sessions :)

Selma took time to get our rescued young GSD used to her by arranging two meet and greets. He was immediately relaxed in her home environment and with the calm energy Selma projects. Such a relief to find such a lovely lady to trust with our dog. Thank you!

Like the other reviews said, Mark was amazing looking after both Harry and Ralph. We got regular photo updates of our boys having the best time and smiles on their faces. Harry and Ralph quickly built a bond with Mark and would definitely be using Mark again when we need a dog sitter! Thanks Mark x

Katie and her partner did an amazing job of taking care of our puppy. It was his first time away from home and he loved staying with them. We received photo updates and timely communication. Thank you so much.
