About: Derek and I have only ever had rescue dogs, not puppies. We appreciate they have had a rough start and need time and patience and lots of encouragement to feel safe and comfortable. We have do looked after multiple friends dogs over the years and have decided that we could help others to have a decent break/work/holiday knowing that their loved furry friend is in capable, safe care. We have rescued older dogs as they get overlooked. We have had to house train kenneled dogs - it’s been a challenge!! But worth it 🤩 I am currently available daily and will have plenty of time with your doggo. My husband works from home so there is always someone around. Walks in our local woods and playtime on the garden will be frequent. Chill time is also important. Dogs are allowed on the sofa so will feel welcome if that’s their thing😊 We have a secure fenced garden. We have a 13 year old Parsons terrier- Steve - he is chilled and loves dog company. We have a lovely wooded walk close by which is shady on those hot days. About: I’ve grown up with dogs and various pets throughout my life! I have experience with both large and small breeds of dogs as well as cats. Growing up we always had dogs in the house, and never less than 4! Because I’ve grown up around animals my entire life, I would say I have quite the love for them along with the experience for caring for them. Because I’ve been given the opportunity to care for dogs from young to old, energetic to reserved my entire life, I know how to accommodate to the dogs needs and be knowledgable enough to know what the dog needs most. Wether it’s a shorter walk due to arthritis or more physical time outside to burn off some energy, you can be certain your dogs needs will be met and they will be loved on! I am regular walker and am not squeamish when it comes to cleaning up mess. Calm and hyper dogs are welcome always. Their needs are the most important when it comes to caring for an animal so if its too hot for a walk then we stay in and play indoors or in the shaded garden if its raining and they want to go out ive got a raincoat I am not afraid of rain and if your pet loves to get covered in mud im not afraid to get dirty and I am more than happy to give them a bath. I am available thursday to sunday unless I have special things planned but I will give everyone more than enough notice to find extra care Im currently working part time and the rest of the week involves park days and beach days with my little boy so any pet care can be provided. I am also a jogger if your pet likes regular running and I have an accessible large crate for any sized dog if needed I have a fenced garden and 3 very friendly cats who have been trained to behave around dogs as they are outdoor pets. I have dog food wet and dry always available and pets are allowed on the furniture as long as they are house trained

We were initially anxious, as Murphy had only ever stayed with family before, but she looked after him so well that he didn’t seem to miss us at all. About: I've had pets ever since I was as young as age 7. I started out with goldfish in a small aquarium. Owning pets when I was young helped me to grow into a more empathetic and compassionate person. I also used to have pet guinea pigs, and now I have a cat. Having these mammals has allowed me excellent opportunities to form bonds with animals early on, and practice for bonding with future pets. I also attended Hadlow College Canterbury for 3 years and did animal care courses. I worked with goats, sheep, chickens, rabbits and guinea pigs in their outside yard. In their indoor area, I also worked with small rodents, reptiles and even amphibians. For all of those animals, I was given training on how to clean them out, how to handle them, give them the right amount of food, and how to perform a health check. Qualifications acheived: •Foundation in animal care •Level 1 diploma in animal care •Level 2 diploma in animal care I am highly flexible and can fit pet care around my normal daily routine. This is throughout both weekdays and weekends. I am able to to late evenings or early mornings should you request. I have cat toys and scratching posts that are provided for my cat to be stimulated. I feed him twice a day, once in the morning with nuggets and once in the evening with a sashe.

About: I have been fostering dogs, old, young, and sick for 5 years. We adopted our lurcher 2 years ago. He is a playful 2 year old, so I need to use treats/ and discipline quite a lot. I have had dogs growing up, and just love to be around all types of dog. I’m at home most of the time. Not currently back at work after maternity leave. I take my dog out at least once a day. So can fit something in most days! I have a fully fenced garden and gate. The house is open plan, however if you need your dog cornered off or my dog cornered off we have baby gates everywhere to help with that.

About: Both Tom and I have been around dogs all our lives and absolutely adore them. We live with our 2 lurchers, Lionel and Bodhi in Folkestone. I have a qualification in Pet First Aid and Dog CPR, and experienced in administering injectable medications. I am fully insured by Protectivity. We have extensive experience with senior dog care, sighthounds, and are used to looking after dogs of all sizes and personalities. We are fortunate to live in close proximity to the Kent Downs, and the beautiful Kent countryside, near lots of woods and walking distance to the coast. We love to get out in the fresh air as much as possible and would welcome your furry friends to come with us. There are also plenty of dog parks near our house, and we have booked private fields for dogs in our care, so they can really have a good run and play off lead. We only take up to two dogs at a time, as long to ensure they get sufficient supervision and snuggles. Walks can be solo or with our boys (who walk very well on lead). Lionel and Bodhi are very loving, friendly boys, with very different characters! Lionel loves everyone and wants to play. Bodhi is more laidback and is happy to watch playtime from the sofa! Both are good at sharing toys and snuggling. As with most sighthounds, after a short burst of energy, they love to snuggle up for the next few hours! Caring for animals is my priority, dog sitting and walking is my full-time focus. I live with my husband, who mostly works from home and has a flexible schedule. Depending on your preference, we can either go out together on group walks with our dogs (2 adults, plus one or two of our dogs, with your dog), or I can take your dog(s) on a solo walk. Whatever works best for your dog. Your dog will be with humans the majority of the time they are here, receiving love, care and attention. A typical day for us, We usually wake around 6am, have cuddles with our dogs and feed them their breakfast. Then we head out for our early morning walk (usually 1 - 2 hours). After that our boys tend to sleep til lunch time. We usually have then playtime, followed by more napping. We then take a second walk before or after their tea. Then toy time and tucked in bed around 9pm. As we have 2 lurchers our garden is very secure with high fences. There are comfy sofas in both rooms on the ground floor, plus dog beds, plenty of room to relax. If you like your dogs to be crated at night, there is room to add these. Our dogs sleep in one room, your dogs would have their own doggy bedroom (ground floor). We also have a room on the first floor for dogs that need a snug quiet space of their own.
About: I have had dogs and cats in my home since I was a small child alongside guinea -pigs, rabbits and chinchillas. Since living on my own (10yeard) I have had recue cats in my home and often looked after friends and family's animals by house sitting or walking them. For the last 2 years I have fostered dogs from the Charity Dogs Trust and have had basic training in grooming, giving medication and basic behavioural recognisition. I am most experienced with reactive dogs and those with anxiety. I currently work from home and only recently moved to Folkestone so I am looking to have some companionship and floofy cuddles during the day. Plus living opposite the beach there are loads of beach side walks and what better friend then a doggo to take with me. I have a flat with a roof terrace as well as access to the beach and no other pets currently so your fur baby will have a safe, quiet environment. About: Hi there, I grew up surrounded by horses cats dogs fish and hamsters and love them all. I’m a regular cat sitter currently and resting between acting jobs so ready to go. I work part time as a supporting artist in films so pet care work fits in perfectly with that. I’m also used to getting up very early so any need for dawn feeds/ walkies etc won’t be a problem. I always follow care instructions to the letter, especially locking up a front door etc.. I double and triple check to make sure. That might be a bit OCD but better safe than sorry.

About: Hey, my name is Jay. I have a Black Lab called Mabel and a German Shep called Martha. Both of whom are well behaved and trained myself / in training. I offer a variety of services and am blessed to have lot's of facilities to my, and your pet's, advantage. Including a Land Rover kitted out for transport should it be required, as well as a stunning location based at the bottom of the White Cliffs of Dover allowing for lot's of walks along the cliffs, into the fields or along the beach and even a swim! Alternatively we can go directly into town. My property is also big enough to have a very private garden with 6+ foot walls surrounding the place ensuring it is very secure. I also house a parrot, variety of fish and in the past have had multiple hamsters and too many guinea pigs and rabbits to count! I love animals and would be honoured to take care of yours! This means I have a very flexible schedule and can give your pet my full attention, day or night, alongside my own animals. I provide a safe, structured, and highly attentive environment for every pet in my care, whether in my own home or the owner’s home. At my home, pets are looked after in a secure property with a large private garden enclosed by 6+ foot walls, ensuring safety at all times. Dogs are never left unattended for long periods, and I am able to give them constant supervision and interaction throughout the day. They have access to regular walks tailored to their needs, including local field walks, coastal walks along the White Cliffs of Dover, and beach outings where appropriate. I also ensure they have a calm space to rest and settle comfortably inside the home. When caring for pets in an owner’s home, I maintain their usual routine as closely as possible to reduce stress and keep them comfortable in familiar surroundings. This includes feeding schedules, exercise routines, playtime, medication if required, and plenty of companionship. Across all services, I prioritise safety, consistency, and individual attention. I have experience with a range of animals and treat every pet as if they were my own, ensuring they are well cared for, stimulated, and happy throughout my time with them.
